Nice pursuit. Tahoes don't have the speed like the Chargers but the Trooper kept the criminals in sight. Outstanding job. STAY SAFE OUT THERE TROOPERS.
134 mph top speed was alot faster than I thought. Very impressed with the Tahoe's.

"On Saturday, May 4, 2024, I, TFC Antonio May, was driving eastbound on Interstate 30 in the left lane when I observed a white
Hyundai Sonata with a North Carolina license plate KMZ1558 in the right lane. The Hyundai was following too closely to an 18-
wheeler. I activated my lights and sirens near the 50-mile marker, but the driver of the Hyundai failed to yield and began to flee.
I advised dispatch and continued to pursue the vehicle, reaching speeds of 134 MPH. The pursuit continued up to the 62-mile
marker where the driver of the vehicle began to weave in and out of traffic. At the 63-mile-marker at speeds of 119 MPH, the
vehicle then passed four semi-trucks on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway. Once back on the roadway, I continued to
pursue the vehicle reaching speeds up to 134 MPH. At the 66-mile-marker the car continued to pass multiple vehicles on the
right-hand shoulder of the roadway at speeds of 96 MPH.
While continuing to pursue the vehicle, Trp. Matt Hall advised that he was sitting stationary around the 78 marker waiting to
deploy the spike strips. Once the vehicle approached the spikes, the driver of the vehicle then pulled over onto the shoulder to
a complete stop. Both the driver and passenger were then placed into custody without incident. The driver of the vehicle was
identified as Marquita Doby and the passenger was identified as Jasper Goodwin.
Both individuals were taken into custody. The driver was transported to Nevada County Jail and booked for Fleeing (Felony).
The passenger was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Goldens Towing and Recovery towed the vehicle."

Was dumping drugs out the window from the start... which is why they should pit first and ask questions later. Had way too much time to dump drugs before the high speed part of the chase.

When the Trooper asked her what was thrown out of the car window, she said that she didn't throw anything out. But she says that her passenger asked her where she kept her pistol. She told him that it was under the seat. So I guess that he tossed her gun out the window at some point during the chase.

If the stupid felon with warrants (passenger) really wanted to get away, all he had to do was beg his girlfriend (driver) to obey ALL TRAFFIC RULES by going the speed limit and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. But if and when pulled over, comply and go do his time. Respectfully! Last thing you want to do is attract law enforcement’s attention when trying to get away.
They were already being watched by the feds, This particular trooper is apart of an Interdiction unit/task force

In all my watching ASP pursuits this has to be the most lack luster chase by ASP. I watched and timed him going from 114mph to 134 mph in 42 seconds wasn’t to thrilled in catching the suspects. Just my opinion. I’m glad they caught her that punk passenger guy knew he wasn’t going to jail they’ll let him go and he knows it, she was stupid enough to listen to him and just hanging with him as a friend she is an idiot.
He was in a Tahoe…not a charger. Much slower. Still shoulda TVI’d early on. If I was in an underpowered SUV…I’d TVI first chance.

I’ll never understand why most cop’s V8 Hemi powered, 340-390 horsepower monster is limited to 131 mph(some police versions are raised to 151mph) while this Hyundai Sonata can reach 134! My Hemi Magnum jumps to 120+mph as if it was jumping from 50-70. It seriously goes from 100-120 and is still pulling HARD at 127mph, with plenty of power and rpm left to blow right by 131. What the hell? What has the world come to?
At 21:14 did anyone catch that car hauler that went by the parked ASP car? It was loaded with Cybertrucks. 😯😃
