  • NAVDHARI BHINDICHE AMTI
    INGREDIENTS:
    2-3 tbsp oil
    10-12 fenugreek seeds
    1 tsp Mustard Seeds
    8-10 Curry Leaves
    500 gm of Shravani Bhindi and cut it into 1” long pieces
    1/2 litre water
    Kokum petals/ lemon juice/ tamarind pulp
    1/2 fresh coconut
    1 tbsp coriander seeds
    7-8 Bedgi chillies
    1/2 tsp turmeric
    1 tsp jaggery
    Salt to taste
    METHOD:
    Heat 2-3 tbsp oil
    Add 10-12 fenugreek seeds
    Add 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
    Add 8-10 Curry Leaves
    Take 500 gm of Shravani Bhindi and cut it into 1” long pieces
    Sauté it for a minute or two
    Add 1/2 litre water
    Add a few kokum petals or lemon juice or tamarind pulp
    For the masala
    Take 1/2 fresh coconut
    Add 1 tbsp coriander seeds
    Add 7-8 Bedgi chillies
    Add 1/2 tsp turmeric
    1 tsp jaggery
    Grind it into a fine paste with very less water
    Add the masala to the kadhai
    Stir it well
    Add more water if needed
    Add salt to taste
    Mix it well, cover and cook it on a medium flame dor 5-6 minutes
    Serve
