- This trip ended up being an awesome trip! I drove 3 hours on Friday in the pouring rain in my 1st Gen Toyota Sequoia just to get to camp in the rain. We setup camp and woke up to about two inches of fresh snow! This made for an awesome day on the Canaan Loop Road and made for some awesome water crossings! Make sure to let us know if you want some more sequoia or off-road content mixed in with the Mountain Biking too!

Chase! Rig looks great and we love these vids keep them coming!
Appreciate it! Can’t wait for more!
Yep. Need more overland videos!
What is your suspension setup?
Fantastic job!! Cant wait for the next trip
Can't wait!
Good times we’re had! Gotta plan another trip soon
Definitely!!
Canaan is a special place. Thanks for the video.
It really is!
Yep, nice one man
Thanks!
More videos for sure thanks
Great video. Love the looks of the mods you did on the Sequoia. Where did you get that grill and the amber lights that are on it?
TEQ customs. Honestly for the price the quality control kinda sucks. The grill doesn’t fit very cleanly but from a distance it looks cool
Rad. Tons of crossover between the Mtb and overland communities. I’d suggest taking a trip to the GWNF to run Union Springs to Flagpole knob and get a Reddish Knob shuttle ride in the following day. Also, the cold spring/bald Mtn Jeep trail will take you south to the Sherando Lake area. Mill creek>Torrey Ridge is a classic Virginia ridge line ride.
I used to run all that stuff with my Jeep a few years back. It’s all some good stuff. If we’re down that way next time we can let ya know
Sounds like a sick trip!
Nice vid bro. Let’s talk about the lower ball joints on this? Have you found a better option to upgrade to or sticking with factory LBJs?
How did you mount your lights on the roof rack? And what type of lights are those.
SO the frist gen is a solid rear axle?
Hey man, do you mind if ibask where you got your trd style grill?
Considering one of these. What would be the top 3 reasons to go with a sequoia for a good overland rig? Anyone out lockers in one yet?
Link to the front grill? Thanks in advance!
What shock and spring are you using
Are you using 10 ply E rated tires?
Nice rig
Thanks bro!
Nice Sequoia. What exhaust are you running on that 1st gen?
I’d love to know, too! Sounds amazing!
sounds straight piped
Sounds stock to me. I own the same yr
I reaally like how your front bumper looks and would like to do the same to my first gen. How did you do it?
Just cut it haha
@@Blake_Cherubini Dope. Appreciate it lol
In all honesty I just used painters tape to see how it would look and then cut it with a dremel.
You have your grill lights on a switch?
Yea I wired them into my switch panel.

buddy is selling his 2006 sr5 57k miles 4wd for $7,000….. cloth interior. It’s it worth it?!
Where at? Is it rusty at all?
@@afetherland Ohio, I asked for undercarriage photos it’s pretty clean. Would have to see in person.
BUY
Be careful with ultra low mileage vehicles. Research it thoroughly
Just did some deep research. The bank states the vehicle was A)Totaled B)Damaged beyond safe repair. It appears to be structural damage that has been “repaired” but deemed unsafe…. I will NOT be purchasing this vehicle. Thank you all that responded. I will also be speaking to the car salesman that tried to sell to me as well as trying to get that vehicle off the lot of this is all legit.
I am looking for a grill like yours for my 2002 sequoia where dis you buy it ?
@tatoquin10 you can get it from trail runner customs.
What happened to your Tacoma? You still got it?
Ended up selling it. It was a little small for me and I just like my sequoia too much
Is that a 2WD of 4WD Sequoia?
4wd
