You are amazing Qazi. You are one of the very few color grading yt channels I trust. Keep it up
Thank you so much.
This was brilliant Qazi! It's so important to have a base grade on which we can build all these other epic looks. And to think all that with a 8-bit footage? Blows my mind.
I know right. Stacking!!! 😀💪🏽
you are awesome dude, i was using luts and just wasnt getting it how i wanted... with just 2 of your videos i produced similar quality to what the luts gave but to ba better waulity. thank you and keep it coming
Your color grading is taking my footage to the next level, thank you for that!
Excellent, Qazi!

Hi Qazi. Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Quick question though, When your playing with Gain, Gamma and Lift, what exactly do yo use to move up and down.
many thanks again!
Lots lots of useful info for a beginner in the color grading realm like me. Thanks!
Let's go!
still mind-blown by how fast you've created the look 🙌
😀🙏🏽
Mannnnn sooo soo good!!!! Thank you brother!
You know it. You're welcome 💪🏽
This one is Amazing, Loved IT :)
Thank you
Hello, Waqaz! Thank you for all the value you're giving to the world, you've been helping me a lot. Is there any possibility you'd do a similar tutorial but for canon cinestyle? I would be really interested in it. Is it worse than log? Is it easier because of its color science? Big Love from Italy
Wow! Well I'm two years later. Better late than never. Thanks for this video🙏
Thank you! How do you know when you are accidentally crashing the midtones, because it is hard to understand that by looking at the scopes...
I have learned so much from u Waqas
Much love, brother 💪🏽
Why do you pick contrast and saturation over the color management workflow? Love your channel, I'm trying to get my sony footage right
Great Tutorial thx. Btw what picture profile is that? Slog?
The teacher's lecture was great and I hope the teacher can come up with a video about the original iphone camera to mix the colors
awsome video! do you know why i cant open a RDC folder into davinci? when i drag the folder to daavinci nothing happen, thanx
Hey man great tutorial! Never used to push the contrast like you do but im also on custom pp settings on my camera. Obviously you grade with the correct monitor, now that's where I'm falling behind, I can get my grade looking food on my laptop but when I test on my phone it's a completely different grade! Is there a better way of fixing this? I know the obvious answer would be to get a laptop with a good ips screen and all that jazz but will only upgrade in the next few months.
when u grade a shot how do you then best apply it to all the shots after initial corrections. on an adjustment layer like in adobe premiere (recently left adobe for davinci and learning it from scratch - thanks for the help) tyia
Hey, Waqas. I'm starting my adventure with DaVinci Resolve and watching some tutorials and so on, but I have unrelated question. What is that tune used in intro? I like it a lot! :D
COLOR GOD! DEF. GETTING A WQ CLASS IN THE FUTURE A7SIII TOOK ALL MY MONEY
😂 you're priorities are screwed up. Jk
Thanks Qazi! ❤️
You're welcome
Even after binging so many of these I’m always dumbfounded watching new ones :0
Let's go!!! Best comment 😀💪🏽
I did not know this program could do so much. SHEESH. I come from After Effects. I pretty much would avoid Premiere at all costs because it crashed so much. Thank you for this video man. I'm excited to learn how to use Davinci :D

Hi, I would like to know one thing: some times you use the space color transformer, other times you don't use it..why? Is there a reason?
Thanks

Please guide one thing.. If Iam working on 4k 10 bit 4:2:2 clips in my project in FCPX and once I finish my editing there, then is it possible to colour grade in Davinci resolve free version by xml files? Coz to work in Davinci with 10 bit files I hv heard you need to buy its studio version and it does not work on free Davinci version.. please guide
plzzz make a tutorial on nikon z6 pro ress raw.how to colour correct and grade it..

@@theqazman I learn a lot from your tutorials I really appreciate it! Mahalo bro!
You are the Man
Appreciate the love
jeez ur teaching different, sweet!
At 21:03 how he did the multiple swipe effect , please help me
I've learned more in 20 minutes of this video, then I've learned from hours of other creator content. I'm saving this video for future reference.
Go watch all his stuff! So worth it
Are you in FCM yet? Let's go, brother waqasqazi.podia.com/freelance-colorist?coupon=SPRING
@@jvke.p Oh yea. I'm subbed to his YT channel.
this channel is my new addiction, could we get a tutorial on how to grade a landscape? Or a wide establishing shot?
Ayyyy. Will do, brother.
@@theqazman You're the man. Incredible value here, and awesome funnel for your course :)
@@JoshuaFluke1 Joshua.. are you here to make your corporate roast video more cinematic?

@@JoshuaFluke1 great I'd love that
Awesome tutorial
I did a small tutorial for work filming using a Sony action camera (Go-Pro like camera), filming in 720 25p and it was very hard to do anything with it without ruining it.
One scene was so over exposed that I just decided to cut it. It was great seeing you working with 8-bit colour, but I'd like to get some ideas on what to do with *really* bad footage.
Work really loved the tutorial I made that I got a budget to make more and your tutorials played a big part in that :)
Makes me very happy. 💪🏽
and anotha insightful video!
Thanks
Hi! Love your videos.
I have a request, sometimes I have to use a gopro for certain shots and I would love it if you could make a video on how you would approach the grading on gopro footage! Thanks
I've covered dji in my Masterclass and same rules will apply to GoPro. Check it out. waqasqazi.podia.com/freelance-colorist?coupon=SPRING
So this is kinda like grading a gopro hero 5 in my situation?
Im curious how you do that kind of transition on 0:03
Legend!
Man, your video are always a banger. So much knowledge shared. Massive thanks for that.Only one thing, CZcams gives me only 1080 option, not 4K, I'd love to watch it in 4k to really see the details especially the minor changes. Thanks
Thank you. Are you watching it on Apple TV or any Apple device because if so that’s probably the reason why.
@@theqazman Yes, MacBook Pro. So is Apple limiting to HD :O
Ok, it's safari not Apple. Perfect. I'll watch your amazing videos on Chrome :D
great...thank u
You're welcome
All these things are possible on 4 5 seconds videos but not for 10 minutes travel vlog... I really struggled alot while color grading using HSL and separate my skin colour. Tried 3 4 times after giving up every time. Still struggling..
A keyboard shortcut tutorial, or optimising color grade workflow tutorial would be awesome :)
Exactly what I have in the free webinar.
@@theqazman Thanks man, I am going to check it out!
What about Vlog 4:2:2 10bit footage color grading
Hello! Love your Chanel ! Great work great content! I’m working in premier pro and just recently bought and start to learn Resolve! Would you mind to answer this question? How properly do round trip from Premier to Resolve for Color Grading and back to premier? For example if my timeline already full of Ae composition and heavy effects? Or it’s better to transfer before applying all the effects? I don’t know if those questions are applicable to what you do and what you know? It’s just feels like you know your things! Any way thanks for content!
Cheers!
You're talking about conforming that's a whole another animal then a quick one line answer
Great content and such a treasure for a new DaVinci user.
Quick question: When working with SLog2/3 shot on Sony A7iii, is this approach the best? Or should I use a conversion/input LUT to convert SLog into Rec709 as the last node?
I’ve seen both done, but just want to know the best workflow - to be able to see accurate colours and luma balance.
Looks like you need my course to deep dive and figure it out from the ground up. Let me know if you're interested.
Not bad for sony... had me on that one :D
Thank u sir
You're welcome
Magic💥
Thank you
bro, you awesome. come to Brasil and have fun with us. Let´s samba!

Will do
Truly man, love your content!!
How do I get that footage ؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟
Super explain sir ..
Thanks
Wow bro your really fabulous

Hello Waqas Qazi, can you do a video on how get the Kpop MV look?
Hey Qazi i want ask you a question: you show always how to color a single clip, and i'm so greatfull for them, but when you work on a project with different scenes, location, and maybe actors how do you approach the project? How do you create a color grade for the entire project? Do you make a color correction for all clip and after you group them for the grade? (obviusly for the scenes that are the same) Or maybe do you create the single look scene by scene? How do you do?
I want ti knw that too lol
THIS.
"in his master c..." xD
Ya all this is found on the masterclass. I highly recommend it. honestly it’s a few hours spent on this topic, which is why he doesn’t put it in a CZcams video. Just not enough time to cover everything.
In a nutshell, base grade then the look but this topic is much more than what can be covered in one CZcams video. I have a whole module on Shot Matching in my Masterclass waqasqazi.podia.com/freelance-colorist?coupon=SPRING
Thank you for your Tutorials. Could you do a video on how to get an organic look. Also I would like to see, how you handle BMPCC4K files.
What do you mean?
@@theqazman Something like National Geographic.
how are you toggling the footage. I noticed after you would add some type of change you are able to go between the now look and before it was affected to see the difference. What key command are you using to see toggle back and forth. I'm not familiar with resolve. This the first video I'm actually watching to learn resolve.
Nevermind. I found it. it was on the bottom of the video while it was playing. I wasn't looking down till now. lol
Qazi, what do you think about the new gen 5 Blackmagic color sience?
I like it a lot.
Its magic....i love so much Liift Gama Gain♥️
You know how I do
@@theqazman 100%
