    For any new players, the best standard load out you can have for bugs (with no premium warbonds unlocked) is:
    Primary: Breaker (shotgun), Punisher (shotgun), or Defender (SMG)
    Secondary: Redeemer (Automatic pistol)
    Grenade: Impact
    Support Weapon: Flamethrower (you can also bring EATs for bile titans if you prefer)
    Backpack: Shield Generator
    The rest is up to you. Light and medium armor is your best bet for bugs. The best armor passives for bugs in no particular order are Scout, Engineering Kit, Medic Kit, and Extra Padding. All other passives can be used but are generally not as effective as these three. If you come close to dying often, medic armor is your best bet.

      Yeah, it's crazy what the medic armor can do
      There is a build right now that im trying to work on
      And with the medic armor/experimental infusion
      You can throw a incendiary impact gernade at your feet and you only take like 3/4th damage to your health bar
      So I'll have like a pack of hunters on me, stim, and throw an impact at my feet and everything dies but me and it's fun as hell

    One other thing I would also recommend is prioritizing the scavengers first (the tiniest and weakest of the bunch) in the lower difficulties (in Helldive it doesn't matter) because they are the ones that cause bug breach signaling. If you are the type to fight a group of enemies until all of them are gone, but enemies just keep coming, this is a very useful thing to utilize.

    • @wisprs_gaming
      @wisprs_gaming  Před měsícem

      that is true, always going for the enemies that can call reinforcements is best
      especially if the reinforcement timer is up

    • @gravitationalredshift
      @gravitationalredshift Před měsícem +4

      might work for smaller PoIs and lower difficulties but it's basically impossible on anything higher, like literally every bug that isn't either a heavy, a special spawn (stalker/shrieker) or a spewer can and will call a breach in 0.00002 seconds. i've even had brood commanders call breaches on me after i blow their heads off

    • @wisprs_gaming
      @wisprs_gaming  Před měsícem +1

      @gravitationalredshift yeah, a lot of the patrols are like 2-3 broodcommanders and a few small ones
      From what I've seen recently I feel like hunters can call a bug breach a lot faster than the others

    • @gravitationalredshift
      @gravitationalredshift Před měsícem +1

      @@wisprs_gaming they can all call, and they absolutely will. most of the time i just don't engage with a patrol if i don't have a reason to, since they need literally like 3 seconds to call a breach and i can't wipe the entire patrol that quickly

    • @wisprs_gaming
      @wisprs_gaming  Před měsícem +1

      yeah thats true, since I run stun gernades it makes it easier to take them out before they call but still a low chance of getting them all, especially the hunters, they seem to just call out so quickly

  • @franciscosariles
    @franciscosariles Před měsícem +11

    Great advice overall.
    Kiting mobs around unbreakable and unclimbable level geometry is key too. They’re inclined to beeline towards you and tightening their groups makes AoE munitions more effective and turrets/divers around a corner spend less time aiming at their next target.

    • @wisprs_gaming
      @wisprs_gaming  Před měsícem

      That is a great point
      I was thinking about adding this since a lot of the times running to the next objective and using cover is usually the better move often than not

    6:01 only found out recently, but you can parry their death-charge with a simple melee attack. They'll flinch significantly only to then almost always finish bleeding out. Pretty sure you can also cancel an enemy Hunter's pounce attack that way as well, but that seems a lot more finicky than the other move. With the Broodcommanders I manage it basically every time.

    I mainly do SOS diving, and I always run with this loadout:
    Med armor, DemPro
    JAR-5, P-19 both on semi fire, impact grenades. Impact incendiary is being considered but I don’t like it for the situations I use them in.
    Autocannon, 500kg, orbitlaser and of course, the Emancipator.
    The orbit laser is used for defending or clearing out swarms at objectives, and thus used sparingly - if one can clear one of the objectives without using it, it’s better as it can be used for other things. Preferably saving one for extraction time.
    The Emancipator is called in ASAP as soon as one lands, and the second at extraction. Makes the first few minutes of the mission easier for everyone else, and even better if you can have a low level player pilot it, preferably players whose levels are below level 10-15. Same deal when extraction time comes.

  • @Commander_Appo
    @Commander_Appo Před měsícem +1

    The Blitzer is a very good anti-bug weapon. Built-in aimbot, hits multiple targets, staggers enemies, and infinite ammo. The only problem is that it has semi-limited range and sometimes the lightning will hit dead bodies or teammates that are too close. But imo the area of effect stagger makes up for any accidental misses or team kills. It stops Brood commanders, stalkers, and everything else smaller than a charger in their place.

  • @KsnypsAdventures
    @KsnypsAdventures Před měsícem +3

    Amazing breakdown. Very detailed but no pointless yapping for thirty minutes.
    I usually take the blitzer shotgun for the sake of knockback on the brood commanders and armor piercing on hive guards. Don’t know how it performs against spewers since oddly enough I haven’t seen one since I bought cutting edge.
    Titans are definitely low priority targets since the are easy to avoid if you have a clear path to escape, and they can clear the horde for you with the spit attack. Sometimes if you run to the side before they spit you can get them to destroy their leg with the acid due to the angle they’re shooting at. Sadly aside from heavy AT weaponry and the occasional Gacrux foliage, there’s not many foolproof ways of killing them
    When it comes to heavy AT weapons though, Commando is top tier at dealing with titans and chargers, and adding the EAT into your strat loadout alongside makes you an absolute heavy killer. Then I usually bring two crowd control stratagems like gas and napalm strike simply to eliminate hunters from bug breaches. If one does get close I take the redeemer because blitzer targeting is scuffed on enemies that are right in front of you

    • @wisprs_gaming
      @wisprs_gaming  Před měsícem

      I need to try the blitzer shotgun, I will give it a go soon, it looks like fun and I do miss using the redeemer
      Yeah, for some reason bile spewers/nursing spewers just don't show up as much but on certain missions
      The commando is a complete beast been really liking it
      Weirdly tho EATs still feel good bc of the super low cooldown
      And yes!! I have gotten the bile titan to attack it's own leg before but very inconsistently

    • @KsnypsAdventures
      @KsnypsAdventures Před měsícem +1

      @@wisprs_gaming Blitzer’s insanely fun. And amazing when it comes to effectiveness against the bugs. Not so much against the bots because of its relatively low range though it still takes down heavy devastators in like six shots (?)
      Punisher plasma is a better pick against the bots as far as cutting edge goes
      It’s fairly fun to use just as I said the targeting against close up targets is bad. And its rather inconsistent with the arcing, since sometimes everything goes to one enemy and absolutely fries it and other times it hits four different enemies for pathetic damage.
      I believe that spewers haven’t been showing up too often because of the changes to mission modifiers. They were a hidden modifier in the past so not every mission would have them, but it feels like with the addition of roving shriekers and tweaks to operation modifiers in general the spewer modifier just shows up way less. Haven’t seen a single spewer since the big patch in June and I play Helldive bugs quite often

      Now that im looking more into it
      Icbm missions forcsure have adult bile spewers and I'm starting to see that nursing spewers are apart of some missions
      I like fighting against nursing spewers, since I feel like they are the easiest groups to fight
      I think it's like
      "Hunters and broodcommanders"
      "Nursing spewers and mixed"
      "Adult bile spewers and hardly any infantry"
      Is what it's looking like to me

    • @CaptanF0rever
      @CaptanF0rever Před měsícem +1

      I third the use of Blitzers. I have nearly 30+ hours running it against bugs (most of those 7-9 dif). It's knockback stops spewers from spitting (animation still happens, but no Bile comes out). It has medium pen and can hit multiple units if you fire from the hip. Never have to reload and infinite ammo. Also, it's knockback works on Stalkers and it can even hit them if they are invisible and jumping around. I've killed many in mid-air. The only downside, as the others have mentioned is the targeting. It will attack corpses. To avoid this, just constantly strafe as your press or retreat. It can also hit hunters mid pounce and once you master the strafing and melee counter to their attacks, you essentially can handle massive swarms solo. I've racked up 100+ kill chains with it on Helldive with the new spawnrates.

You can make do, but realistically you can do better with medium armor enemies with a jar5 dominator or scorcher. But yeah, with a crossbow you get the utility of being able to close every bug hole on the map by yourself. I run all the above tbh. I should have shown what a Stalker Nest looks like on a map before I gave this tip
      It's a stalker nest but you would have to know the shape of it and I didn't make that clear

      @@wisprs_gaming Maybe it is just me. I do know the shape of the stalker nest, they are always priority #1. But for the life of me, I can barely find the artillery ring on the mini map. I don't think I've ever found a stalker or spore icon by combing over the map.

      @@wisprs_gaming The tip about the stalker nest being within 100m of extract was very uiseful. thank you!

      @jakeku2662 I have another video that talks about objectives so I just didn't include what they look like here
      There are 3 different types of Stalker nests and they can be 100m from extract or objectives so I always do a little glance at the map around those areas
      I always say "if you don't see shrieker nests, be on the lookout for Stalker nests"
