I don't get impressed by many contestants on this show but Mckeown never ceases to blow me away.

True, but perhaps a bias in the questions towards her field(s) of expertise

These kids are brilliant - particularly that lass, McKeown. It comes as some surprise to me that she is not studying everything !

"I don't know", "I can't remember", "I've no idea". Clearly on the wrong show.

Is St John's a Jesuit related college ?

Jesuits aren't big in UK universities. I think there are only 2; Campion Hall, Oxford and Heythrop College, University of London. St.Johns was founded by Lady Margaret Beaufort, the mother of King Henry VII and the website states; we provide an environment that is welcoming to people of all faiths, and none

I got mixed up - does St John's College Oxford have any historic relationship with the Jesuit Society - it says on the Wikipedia "intended to provide a source of educated Roman Catholic clerics to support the Counter-Reformation" ?

From what I gather the Jesuits are instrumental in the counter-reformation movement, and have a lot of influence across the whole world. The present Pope Francis is a Jesuit and is the first Jesuit to hold this office. The head of the Jesuits, the "Superior General", is known as the "Black Pope". So now we have both the "Black Pope" and the "White Pope" as Jesuits.

The answer to your question is no. St. John’s College is not in any way affiliated with the Jesuits. And please stop with the cryptic Dan Brown esque stuff.
There are halls at Oxford run by several Catholic orders, but none are full on colleges. One, Campion Hall, is run by the Jesuits. But there are other ones run by the Franciscans and the Benedictines.
But the Catholic Board of Oxford is not run by any of the orders and is run directly by the bishop of the local diocese.

Paxman mispronounced the name of Maréchal Foch. Shame, shame!
