Which packaging did you think was SUPER SMART??
I really want to get one but I’m worried nothing in it will be vegan. I might still try and see 💜🌸
@@VeganMangoQueen Thank you again for your comment Mango Queen!! Actually I look through the book that come with this month TokyoTreat and Sakuraco box. There is allergy and vegetarian friendly warning. Unfortunately, most item contain at least egg or dairy. I think in Sakuraco box, only 2 item would be okay for strict vegan! But I will send your comment to TokyoTreat and maybe one day in the future they can make vegan box that suits you better!!
@@MrsEats Thank you for letting me know. Appreciate you!!
I like Japanese design standards(?) especially when it comes to packaging. It is almost as if we in the West design the product and then stop worrying about it, "throw it in a paper bag, they'll buy it anyway!", though I believe that that is a trend that is reversing here. Have come across a few electronics products packaging that made me say WOW over the last few years here, so hopefully we are following Japan's lead 👍🏻😁
I was wondering something about that rice packet. If you open it wider, does it hold more water? It seems not very accurate, somehow.
Whenever Mrs Eats releases a video, the day gets sooo much better :D Your videos are so great, thank you very much for making such great content :)
Glad you like them! I will work hard to make more videos so you can enjoy!!
Mr. Eats is a sniper with the editing. That Alex Jones insert had me cracking up 😂
Japan in unbeatable in the packaging department. Ingenuity, colors, styles, designs, etc. They put so much thought into it, and the results are a beautiful thing to behold.
I remember the old Asahi cans from the 80s,
the top of the can came out the same,
but they were bigger and delicately komono shaped.
I think I still have one somewhere.
Wow!! It sound so cool!! I'll try to find more information about it!!
That ice cream sandwich really did blow my mind. Over here, we use chocolate cookies as the outside, and it always gets soggy and sticks to your fingers. The chocolate coated wafer is genius!
Same here. The closest American thing I can think of is "drumsticks" which are a similar concept to Japan's but it's in a cone shape and has extra chocolate on top
The wafers are so crispy 🤤 perfect match with creamy ice cream
I am always amazed by the packaging and gadgets from Japan. I have never seen the coffee in something you can put over a cup like that! That would be super useful for good coffee! SUGOI
So interesting!! It's everywhere here so I'm surprised you guys don't have in other country!! But we also don't really use the coffee machine like Americans use! I guess Japan is still a little old fashion!!
Great for camping, too
We have a HUGE Asian/ international market here, and I love going through the Japanese section. The KitKats alone are mesmerizing.
Japanese packing is absolutely amazing! This is why I love Japan so much! 🤯
It must be so fun to be married to Mrs eats. Weird comment I know, but she has such a fun and bubbly personality
おはよう! I got the lifetime Rosetta using your link. ありがとうございます🌱💚
Wow!! Thank you so much Mango Queen!! I hope you have a great success to study any language!! Which language are you studying now?
@@MrsEats I’ve been studying Japanese for 6 months and I think this is going to really help me get further, the photo memorization works well for me. 😊💜
I'm so happy to hear it!! Yes Mr. Eats learn very well through pictures too, so it help him a lot too! I hope you can use your Japanese in Japan soon!!
That natto packaging is GENIUS!!! I wish we could get that here! So many amazing packaging designs! Thanks for sharing and for the laughs 😂😂😂 🦎👫🐄🍈🍈
Karrie CHUN!! Yes so many genius packaging! But I think I ran out haha! Japan seem to really love this kind of packaging so I think there will be more in the future!
some Japanese packaging design really takes into account the usefulness or ease of use for the consumer 🥰 i like that these small modifications don't seem like much but make the experience just a bit better!
Who knew Mrs Eats was so based? Extra thumbs up for featuring AJ 👍👍
I really like the detergent measure bottle, thats a good idea.
Mrs Eats living up to her name in many of these products
Act Fluoride mouthwash easy fill bottles have had that in the USA since late 80s early 90s, it even will drain back down to 10 milliliters if you over fill (can't tell if the detergent does it, doesn't look like it)
@@AcridWhistle 2-stroke engine oil also comes in similar measuring bottles to get the right mixture for the amount of gasoline being treated.
One of the earlier Yakuza games had a sub-story where you're helping this guy come up with an instant-noodle version of a famous restaurant's ramen. I kind of thought it was odd that this guy supposedly winds up making a perfect recreation of the recipe as instant noodles. Honestly, if they meant that the guy was making "instant noodles" as in the udon package you were showing off, suddenly it makes A LOT more sense.
I’d love to see someone explore the tacky but practical things old Japanese people use/wear.
Oh yes, Japanese packaging! Lived there for 19 years and the amount of plastic in packaging was a never ending WOW! And now, living in Thailand - it's even worse! Convenient is great but it will be a LOT better when they figure out how to do it with a product that is biodegradable.
Nice to come across a channel where the creator is as detailed with every second/edit/music/titles as I am. Good work!
So cool! Love your content!😎⚘♥️
Thank you so much 😁
Love the petite lavender chopsticks!!! I would like to have them!
Yes I like it too! It's made of bamboo and is super light!!
i'm not from japan myself but I have ordered some natto online. I love the texture of it. so delicious to me.
Things like this help me be more interested in Japan overall, still learning and hopefully go there someday
8:28 「カカカカカカ!コォ――!」 笑💕
Mrs. Eats releases a video i watch, I enjoy, my day gets better. Imma simple man.
those paper filter coffee things I’ve not seen in the u.s but I have seen the tea version. Good idea for traveling maybe but I agree I like the sound when my coffee finishes on the stove.
Yes it's so good!
your smile and laughter are just so contagious!
I wish there was a Japan box that exclusively sold smart package design products because I'd definitely purchase a subscription.
I am fascinated with the measuring tube 🤯 0:43
The last one, the ice cream in the bag, brought back some childhood memories. We had something like that in the late 90s/early 2000s in Germany - Solero Smoover 😋
Oh! Very interesting! I guess other country have some similar kind of packaging too! I want to see Germany's interesting packaging!!
@@MrsEats haha there is no clever packaging in germany :)
japan handicraft is AMAZIING!!!🤔🤯
I love your sponsors…. They are like the only ones I actually consider purchasing on CZcams lol 😂
Ok, that convenient coffee filter is freaking amazing. I don’t even drink coffee and I’m effing impressed! 🤯
The best product packaging I've ever had are either from Japanese or Korea! And they still manage to make the products accessible and affordable, I am very impressed and satisfied when opening items :)
Sneaks
Mrs. Eats: yes
🤯Those are so cool especially the pudding!!
Love it. Thank you for posting!!!!
That complete Udon noodle dish looks perfect for an old bachelor like me. No washing up! I wish you could get them in every London store.
Yes perfect for single people and lazy couple too hehe!!
I absolutely love your videos. Thank you 🫶🫶☺️☺️
🤯 love the attention to details put in the packaging and the convenience. Thank you so much for making these videos!
Fun video, that caramel pudding ball looks pretty good. :)
The first ice cream looks like the best idea ever.🤯
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Just to show that I watched to the very end. But seriously all the different packaging is super neat!
In all honesty, I was more impressed with your ability to use chopsticks in one hand and a spoon in the other at the same time!
🤯 so much fun to see the thought and innovation in the packaging!
You know Mrs Eats was actually scared when she defaulted to Japanese lol 😅 also🤯
Yes!! It REALLY sound like it will explode!!
Love your videos! You are very positive and informative!😊
Fascinating!
Mrs. Eats, some of these packaging is pure genius!
I get a mouthwash that comes in a similar kind of bottle to that laundry detergent one you show here. It's very convenient in the morning because you don't have to measure and even if you aren't laying close attention, it won't overflow.
Those are really cool package designs. Pretty brilliant! I wish we had some of those Asahi cans over here! One of my favorite beers.
12:36
Did i hear a "ya ya yeah coco chambo"? 🤣❤️
This is amazing 🤯🤯🤯 I never stop being impressed by how efficient Japanese packaging is, it’s so satisfying to watch. And also keep up the good work!
🤯🤯🤯🤯
Those are all great!! Thank you!
Thank you✨
Oh yay I'm glad you showed Coolish so I could show my husband what I've been talking about all these years! I used to grab these at the conbini on the way to or from school to cool off in the hot summer. I love ice cream in a pouch!
aaaaa I love how these packages keep your hands clean. The chocolate coated wafer wrapper is perfect; your ice cream also can't drip on the ground.
I NEED this clothwashingstuff-Bottle - I NEED IT IN MY LIFE!!!!!
And i also still try to get natto for like 2 years now. But in Germany it is reaaally hard to get - even in my local asian Hypermarkets T_T
So cool right?? I love it too!!
Thnak you.
I had that coffee when I was in Japan, it motivated me to get a pour-over coffeemaker
I love your videos they're really helpful ❤❤
It's been so long since I've watched. I love your guyses content so much!
🤯🥳💖😄 Love it! So glad you guys are back at it. Very entertaining and interesting 👏
Do you take ideas from the comments?! I am curious to learn about the bamboo forest, also Kamakura and other areas. I always love your videos! An American living in Japan 😎
Thank you!! We want to do more videos in interesting location so we will keep it in mind!!
The japanese industrial designers are on another next level!
First time I saw the coffee filters like that was when I bought Japanese coffee. Otherwise I've never seen it before. Pretty handy.
🤯 - I always find the packaging in Japan amazing. I will be visiting later this year, so I can see first hand.
One of the best content creators on youtube! Mrs Eats always kn I cks it out of the park!
Seeing you be amazed also makes me amazed 😂
I LOVED the balloon pudding 🍮. Your face when poking it was so cute but determined!
Looks very oishii!
Always enjoy your videos, you are so happy and smiling all the time, the videos are always interesting. Mr Eats is a very lucky man :)
wow, pretty cool
Such a cool video !
Japan is food heaven!
I didn't care much for the beer can one... The detergent one is kind of cool but we do have something similar to that in America, some kids mouthwash when I was a kid had that as a design for their bottles.
y'all really make my day :')
4:46 this made me laugh best part 😂
That’s still amazing
Great and fun video
Wow! 🤯
Yes I watched the video but Mrs Eats is so pretty look at her hair it is awesome.
I am the opposite of a Japanese person where foam is concerned, especially in the case of beer.
I always hold my glass at a 45 degree angle specifically to avoid foam as much as I can.
You gotta be one of my favorite channels!
japanese ice cream sandwiches are ballin out of control
Yeah!! Ballin!!!
Thank you Mrs. Eats !! Just about everything in Japan has unique packaging. Love it. 💋 💋 💋
Mrs. Eats for president!
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Japanese package design is always fun to look at. I'm a graphic designer and these things fascinate me.
Thank you! Yeah Japanese packaging design always surprise me too🤯Thank you fir mind blowing emojis!!✨✨
Japan's packaging designs are exquisite. Thanks for this video. This really means a lot to us.
america also has the individual cream cheese package! except it is for a brand called laughing cow swiss cheese and its in a triangle :) they make a little pie shape in the round container!
The laundry one I need
Props on the Alex Jones bit. I love him. He’s the best
You're getting very good at this Mrs Eats!
😵💫😵 Mind blown by pretty much all of them.
Me too!!🤯
😂 "very safe" I just love your videos and sense of humor!
I'm a little late to the party, but this was a great video as always. So many interesting packaging designs
I wish Japanese package designers could design our packaging, especially for Trader Joe's.
That simple way to make coffee is easy! I'm not surprised she thought it was worldwide. The ice cream wafer is extraordinary! I want that.
very intrseting
Ok, being allergic to cockroaches, that beer can lid is BRILLIANT. There is always a chance that a roach has walked across can lids so I am always wiping them down before drinking from them, so that design is perfect!
Hi Ryan!! Yes that is good point!! I didn't think it can actually be cleaner than regular can!
You can be allergic to cockroaches? o.O
The more I learn about the human body, the more amazed I am that there are actually people who don't die in their first 3 years.
Canned beer should always go into glass first. The taste really, really change a lot.
I use a large paper filter for my coffee
The ice cream where you have to massage it. That's genius!
I hope to visit Japan one day
I live in Indiana USA in a town near the capital of Indianapolis named Lawrence. We have a great local community of Asian Americans, along with a thriving Hispanic community, so we have many Asian and Hispanic groceries, restaurants, and bakeries. All very yummy for the tummy! We have our favorites mapped out, some in walking distance!
You two are too funny!
