      @na.na.v6634 Před 6 měsíci +1

      Must be sushi rice so it’s the right texture and won’t fall apart when you form the ball & should be japanese mayo due to differences in consistency (American is much more liquified) & any canned tuna (brand & size) should work just fine as long as it does come flavored already.

      Maybe you used the wrong rice, long grain rice like jasmine etc won't stick together properly, you need short grain rice / japanese rice / sticky rice.
      But tbh that only affects shape. If you were to make this for yourself you could just stop caring about the looks and eat it anyway without it having to be perfect pretty triangles

    • @nounta1016
      @nounta1016 Před 10 měsíci +3

      Your tears, provides wetness and saltiness. Just kidding, kinda....Mayo is staple for Japanese rice balls but you can try cream cheese, sour cream, greek yogurt. If you wanna go out of the box, pesto or avocado mashed. It's really whatever you wanna throw in there, it will still taste good.
      There is a popular Japanese bakery around me that sells theirs with added chopped onions, small diced tomato, and jalapeno. It is so good.

      @zankaa8031 Před rokem

      Most furikake has bonito tbh, the most common ingredients are nori, bonito, and sesame seeds. Hard to tell what flavor she used here but my personal favorite is the wasabi fumi furikake.

      U can ask the lady at the Oriental store, but I'm guessing nori fumi furikake is wat yur lookin' fer. There's salmon furikake too, but sum fish furikake tastes old 😂 That's probs why u didn't like the bonito flavor. My personal fav is🥚furikake cause it's sweet. I can mix it in 🍚
