    How/where do we go to know if we can apply to be an air traffic controller? I know it opens every year or something ?

      www.faa.gov/be-atc is the website to apply, 2024 apps dont open until spring 2024 but you can sign up to be updated when they open!

      Either in June or July is when the application is available for a few days on the FAA website. I am going through the hiring process right now. I should know in a month if I will attend the Academy.

      @FKG2411 No problem. I will be straight honest: They can disqualify you for something minor, like having a 20/25 vision instead of 20/20. The hiring process takes a long time. The hardest is a psychological test that consists of 563 questions. A minor felony is an automatic disqualification. They run your background from the day you were born to 2024. They want to know everything about you, including health conditions, bankruptcy, credit score, college info, etc.

    Interesting developments happening with autonomous cargo drones and air taxis.Ground controllers and remote pilots.The next year or two this is setting up to expand exponentially.Air freight costs are cut in half.
