Realistic scenario-based training in a full-motion simulator, or even a basic aviation training device, can expose a pilot to hazardous scenarios in a safe and controlled environment. The takeaways are vital to risk management and decision-making lessons. These scenarios thrust pilots into situations where they must decide to continue deeper into the hazardous situation, pause and develop a mor...

The most decisive word often missing from a pilot’s vocabulary is “no.” Pilots are decision-makers who are go-oriented and focused on completing the task at hand. When “no” is the correct answer, it is the only answer. Watch this video before your next helicopter flight.

What a joke. How can the thousands of us in the community being tormented daily by the 400% increase in flight school low altitude flyovers expect any justice or regulation from this "hearing" when there was virutually no real representation from the affected communities like Bixby, Wrigley, Signal Hill and others. The panel consisted only of FAA, airport, and aviation representatives, excluding community members. We insist on a voice at the table and will not rest until these flights are modified or curtailed.
Hopefully going to apply in 2025
#defundthegovernment
This is an awesome capability that the FAA has developed, and put into use. The video mentions that the simulator can fly a B-737 upside-down. Is that to say this simulator can physically be inverted to an upside-down attitude, or is the upside-down portion of the flight just visually simulated for the pilots and technicians?
Have not been in Oklahoma in a long time. I was in Norman at the weather labs last time. This is the best thing you have done for pilots and aviation safety!😊 Keep up the good work.
please STOP or at least half, to amount of train flights
Kim. You need to pay another visit to Bermuda!!!!!!
Boy, I’d love to try a Sim sometime
Wow… this is amazing work by the FAA!
Out of the many complaints, who has communicated with their public servants to share those concerns? After all, the FAA bureaucracy is overseen by Congress.
At 00:54, Danielle is talking about night ops and authorization. She does not make it clear, that when you request LAANC, ensure that you extend your 12 hour authorization window to include your night time op. I do not believe that she is saying to request two separate LAANC ops.
Haha "sustained flight" is at ALL stages of flight. Otherwise, you are not aloft. The net is cast too narrow on this - clarification needs to be made much more carefully.
Just don't take advice from that one ridiculous movie, stupid, unrealistic and dumb, also possibly dangerous, apart from that, ATC is cool, important and can save lives, helping people get to their destinations safely.
Simple, yet complicated
hi ❤
Now do a video about how moving the EWR sector to PHL is going to royally screw TEB
Really cool video, great to see the FAA pushing younger people to get into aviation! Keep it up!
This wasn't well received. Here's an AI summary of facebook comments after the event: - Exclusion of Community: The panel consisted only of FAA, airport, and aviation representatives, excluding community members. - Discontent and Skepticism: Participants expressed frustration, feeling ignored and patronized. They criticized the panel for evading questions, providing PR responses, and not addressing community concerns. - Legal Action and Powerlessness: Some suggested that legal action might be necessary, as panel members appeared powerless to make changes. - Inaccuracies and Misinformation: Comments noted inconsistencies in information provided, particularly regarding noise regulations and fuel usage. - Overall Dissatisfaction: The webinar was perceived as a waste of time, filled with canned responses and lacking meaningful engagement with the community.
Join us in SANeR to curtail the constant flight school small plane overflights over our schools, neighborhoods and hospitals. We are fundraising and bringing in strong attorney to take legal action.
Thank you, straight to the point and very nice Stearman too
Great public forum. How can we set up one for our community?
Great job KLGB
PS, they do not have a radar at this airport. So you have to be very precise on giving them your position.
Build your own analog drones people... Its much more difficult to ground your UAV running on analog, unless they want to disrupt A LOT more than just your drone...
Did you know that they are keeping data outside of the system of record regarding vaccine injuries? I wonder how many pilots are having their career ended now by vaccines and discovering the cardiovascular damage through ECGs?
Very few. Period. As proven by the whole large body of vaccinated people.
@@soccerguy2433 have you seen the major lawsuit from a state against manufacturers? Have you seen the hundreds of thousands of worldwide deaths from dozens of different country's medical databases? Surely you can't be that daft or in such denial of accomplished facts.
I've filed several complaints with you about low flying FBI planes spying on me unconstitutionally, yet nothing has been done. I'll expect you to charge the FBI for this. I will continue to send you evidence.
Hello! I currently work for a company and we would like to apply for multiple waivers. We plan on operating all over the United States doing light shows! My question is would I need to hold waivers to fly at night and with multiple drones for every location? Thank you!

Learnt to fly here during 1996 1997, lovely times. took my solo on runway 8, I believe it was runway 8 then, they are 9 and 27 today.
us tax dollars are going to faa ai generated images 😭
No offense, but I think new content in an updated style would do the FAA a great service. This seems like it was made over 15-20 years ago.
Well, that’s why FAA allows starship to fly, isn’t it?😊
Useful tip❤
This is good message, but it’s time for change F.A.A you make a law approving “Mass supersonic-travel” for everyone, most passengers are tired of flying on aircraft that can barely go 450mph the masses are ready mass supersonic travel but only the F.A.A and congress can make that dream happen with the strike of a pen there are no excuses it’s 2024 and the aviation industry needs massive upgrades your “newest” Boeing 737,747,787 planes looks like jets that could have been built in the 1970s step up your game I pay my taxes I want results please
Americans who have to endure the constant harassment, abusive behavior, and unreasonable noise from airmen (pilots)... but nowhere are we stakeholders or shareholders. Aircraft noise destroys communities and people's health. There are no other stakeholders than homeowners on the ground. Airspace will unconstitutionally declared by the United States government. Have you received your 5th Amendment reparations yet? Noise is a choice... stop aviation health-risking noise pollution.
I bet envelopes under the table make the process easyer...
Busiest general aviation airport in the southeast. If you learn to fly here, you should be able to fly anywhere. Great place to learn..got my private here back in 1999...great memories..
Very good

If the Pilot is planning on taking a flight to log Hours, the pilot doesn't really know where they want to fly to but are planning on making a flight Tuesday. On Sunday night a friend says I need to go to xyz on Tuesday can the pilot fly them to that destination?
This IS a growing problem especially on GA airports that are in uncontrolled airspace. I wish the FAA would require the use of a radios if the aircraft is equipped. Changing this would make a huge difference in situational awareness.
This information is very misleading. I pay my A&P IA $300.00 + travel for the annual inspection on my Baron. But what isn’t noted is that annual inspection is an owner assisted inspection. By the time the IA gets to my hanger all the inspection covers and cowlings are open and off. I do my own oil changes, maintenance and repairs that are allowed by the FARs. The IA does all the AD compliance checking and all that he is required to do. He is a retired lead inspector from the airlines a former aircraft owner, and pilot and does a very thorough job. He doesn’t need the money he does it so he just stays busy,so he charges accordingly.I can understand where some shops charge a substantially higher fee but they are not owner assisted annuals and they are a for profit business. So in short don’t cringe at a $300.00 annual if you don’t know the full story.
Ok no thanks. Was looking for property in the area.
AKA Norton AFB, to us who grew up near here.
Not sure who to contact about this, but I'd love to join the creative team that manages the FAA CZcams channel. I'm a writer and video editor and I think I could really bring something to the videos
He did well to understand the necessity to clear the airspace so promptly. I see that many younger people don’t understand that suicidal attacks were conceptually new. It’s amazing that air-traffic control managed to land every plane in the USA safely in just a few hours. The FAA did well to declare the whole country a no-fly zone so quickly too. The guy who made that decision was on his very first day in the job.
That's funny because since Bill Gates showed up with his villainous idea to blanket the earth in aluminium!! The aeroplanes have been getting louder!!! Seems to only be the ones that leave those "vapour" trails, though. Ya know the ones that don't disappear and then form into clouds 🤔 I guess this is all just a coincidence though... Or better yet, a conspiracy 😂🤦♂️ when, in reality, it's just observation and facts...

This did not age well. 😂😂
