I dont know why it is so difficult to understand why Kejriwal was arrested abruptly on 21st March in the late evening. This happened an hour or so after the electoral bond data came out. This is the age old strategy (at least we see this in the last decade or so) of BJP where they wanted the whole attention diverted to something big and the whole electoral bond debate is kept off main stream. They succeeded in doing that to some degree but this was a desperate move from BJP and they were fully aware that this could prove costly but they did not have anything bigger to fall back on
Bjp had nothing to do with his arrest...n there was no problem that they would need to change the discussion from the bonds because sc never said funds are illegal...they said funds must be transparent n therefore they were unconstitutional...WHICH IS NOT ILLEGAL..n partys will be funded with or without bonds CUZ ITS NOT ILLEGAL...🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

1. The party removed restrictions on foreign funding and allowed loss-making companies to make donations, effectively paving the way for illicit funds to be laundered through corporate donations, including those from shell companies.
2. There's an undeniable pattern where raids by enforcement agencies are followed by substantial contributions from the raided entities, suggesting a quid pro quo.
3. Notably, there's a trail of evidence linking the BJP to receiving over 50 crores from a figure previously implicated in the Delhi liquor scam.
4. This also brings to light BJP accepting funds from a Pakistan-based company in the vicinity of the Pulwama incident.
5. Further scrutiny reveals financial contributions from pharmaceutical firms whose clinical trials had failed, yet managed to secure market access, presumably through bribes facilitated by electoral bonds.
These instances are but a few examples underscoring the extensive evidence of malpractice in the electoral bond funding mechanism, which the BJP "tried their best" to keep out of the public eye. How can we forget the joke arguments that we heard in SC by SBI and Mr Tushar Mehta... At one point BJP (Tushar Mehta) literally said.. "Voters dont have any right to know who is funding the political parties.. there is no transparancy needed" .

1) I don't want to be someone who lies, the way he did in Lavanya from Ariyalur's suicide case.
2) I want no part of propagating hate and upsetting religious concord.
3) I don't want to be a fool and propagate false information through the media the way he did by using a fictitious complaint made by a military personnel against the CM, which was later shown to be untrue through the use of audio proof from a phone call.
4) I don't want to be a person lacking in integrity, as demonstrated by the way Annamalai altered TR Balu's statement to incite hatred and division in TN. When DMK returned with the original speech as evidence, we were unable to locate this looser anywhere.
5) Similar to how he falsely accused the ruling party of obstructing a certain group's sales of Ganesh statues. Later, the collector produced a report stating that the group had been barred from selling because they had used harmful ingredients in their preparation, which had been declared unlawful by the court. We never again came across this papu with an explanation after that.
6) He stated in a Coimbatore conference that he has filed two lakh cases during his eleven years of police career. First, the supporting documentation indicates that he has only been in office for nine years. Subsequently, he claims to have filed sixty cases every day. Does he have a rationale to his statement?

Interesting perspectives! However, a couple of things need to be mentioned.
For the various summons that Arvind Kejriwal received from the ED they were all responded to by him asking specific questions. Even the legality of the same were questioned. ED itself went to court regarding this & when a hearing was due & ED felt that it might not go in its favour it went ahead & arrested him before the hearing itself. if you are keen to get the full details from AAP/ED you could actually produce a full episode on just this issue. The narrative that media is peddling that Arvind Kejriwal deliberately skipped the summons is incorrect.
If Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest has received international attention it’s not just because he is Delhi’s CM. That’s perhaps just a small part. Over the last 9+ years, the amount of work that his govt has done in vastly changing the landscape of especially govt schools & healthcare infra has drawn attention to even developed countries. Happiness curriculum (which Melania had specifically wanted to see) & mohalla clinics (which a team from Harvard came to visit) are just two small examples why his governance has built political capital around the world.
One can write an entire thesis on the huge impact AAP has had in Delhi simply because it has focused on ensuring that those at the bottom of the economic ladder have access to the best of education & healthcare, a basic necessity for all human beings. These are things that make a significant impact on improving the quality of life of those at the bottom of the economic ladder.
I wish media can make a full documentary on these excellent changes that have actually made a difference to those people’s lives, which can make us a developed country.

I am Aaron from Goa. Honestly I stopped supporting AAP two years ago as there was no appealing face in Goa. But after AK arrest I am even stronger supporter of AAP now .

Arvind Kejriwal is the biggest disappointment in politics for an educated person who had hopes of an honest party. I was one of the earliest people who paid my hard earned money to AAP thinking he would fight corruption. I totally lost it when this fellow went and shook hands with Lalu prasad Yadav who ran gunda raj in Bihar. For people who don't know the gunda raj years, my fathers colleague never took his sons to their home town in Bihar with the fear that they would be kidnapped. This fear was true. People who were even from middle class were not spared.
