This home is hands down one of the best I have ever been in! The manufacturer for this home is Deer Valley Homebuilders. The model for this home is the "Sequioa." This home is a 45x66, has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 2,670 square foot living. Let me know what you think about the video! I hope you enjoy this mobile home walk through video.

We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

I really like how the master is at the beginning of the bedrooms bc when my kids were little, I always made sure we slept closest to the door so I could know my kids were safer.

I have seen several comments about higher financing for modular homes. I am in NC and have a modular home. Financed just like a stick built. Financed 7 years ago with a 30 year loan for 3.625%. If you have good credit, finance through a bank or credit union, not the dealership.

What made you decide on a Modular vs a Manufactured home. What made you find it was a better option? We are just beginning our journey to finding a new home. (mine is stick built)
@@karenbonneau4933I live in NC in a small town outside a metropolitan area. We built our home in 2002. Every contractor we spoke to about building an on-site stick built house said the beginning price of a stick built would be $100 per square foot not including land, grading, septic, well, etc. Our off frame modular cost $122,000 also not including land, grading, etc. That was $55 per square foot. The house is 2213 square foot and also has a 1000 square foot attic with over 8 foot ceilings that could also be finished out to include additional living space.
We looked at houses being built by local builders at the time and the quality was slightly less than the modular homes at the modular home builder we chose, Homes by VanderBuilt in Sanford, NC. Their website is ncmodulars.com. Also, we liked that the modular was built with 2X6 walls and therefore had better R value insulation.
If would be sure to choose an off frame modular and not an on frame modular, if you decide to buy a modular. An off frame modular is built to the same building codes as a site built home. They are both considered stick buillt. We are thinking about building a smaller retirement home and there is a 90% chance we will go modular again in 3 to 5 years.
As to manufactured homes, they are built to the HUD code, not the state building code. They are good homes also, but depending on where you want to build them, there are more local restrictions on where they can be built. Also, resale is generally higher with modulars. Insurance companies and banks treat modulars and site built homes the same. They treat manufactured homes differently. I also own two manufactured homes, a doublewide and a singlewide. They are good, basic, affordable housing, but the modulars and site built are nicer and appreciation is higher.

That is exactly what my ex-husband and I did 15 years ago. We ordered a custom built modular, 3bdrm/2ba and we owned the land, paid for all the site work out of pocket then just financed the home. We went through our local bank and did a 15 year mortgage with a fixed 2.5% loan on $107,000. Our payments were only $498/mo with property taxes, and home owners insurance included in escrow. You can't rent for 3x that around here. (Mid-Coast Maine)

Terrific layout. The only thing missing is a coat closet. Great light from so many windows. Love the white kitchen, the granite countertops, the divider with the columns. The flooring is nicer than usual; I would opt for no carpeting. The wrap-around porch is a wonderful addition. All-in-all, one of the best you have shown. Thank you.

I absolutely love this home! It has lots of closet space, big bedrooms, nice spacious living room and beautiful kitchen with tons of cabinets and a pantry! Definitely on my top three homes list!

Im in So. Cali. My daughter just ordered her home. We call them 'Manufactured Homes' here. They got the property its going to go on in the country. In the meantime while they are waiting for it to arrive , they will be living in their Toy Hauler/Trailer that they take out to the desert. For those who don't know what a toy hauler is....Its a RV/Trailer which also carries all their desert toys like Quads, motor bikes etc. They will b living in it for 3-4 mo. But they are EXCITED.
I haven't seen the house they picked out. They want to surprise everyone LOL.
When they 1st told us they were getting a Manufactured home instead of just building one I was WHAT⁉️ I had never seen a Manufactured home. I was picturing a regular Trailer like place LOL. They showed me pix of some & I was IMPRESSED. This one you are showing is pretty cool👍 I can't wait to see the house they picked 😄. I think it comes in pieces LOL. Or they call it modules.
It ends up cheaper than building a house & less headaches. Another one of my daughters built one & it was a HEADACHE🤕. There was always something that had to be changed or whatever. Although they LOVED it once it was done. Their designing came to reality LOL.
Getting a Manufactured home is a pretty good idea. Not as many headaches & doesn't take as much time 👍

I'm telling you what, this house is beautiful! You're right: Wow Factor! Love the exterior brick work, not to mention the wrap-around porch. The floorplan is well planned and functional. Are those granite countertops in the kitchen? Doesn't matter, because it's amazing! Nice pantry, too! The hallways go on for days! Can't get over the size and features within this home!! THE purple one no.2 and the one i asked about a little while back is no.3, until you mess it up (my list that is).i L O. V. E. this house!!! Make a great country home! Yes I would and know I can change. things but, I. gotta say that's mah kinda kitchen !!!! wall ovens and smooth top cooktop in counter. More kitchens like this ,purdy please- yes I give permission to ruin mah list😅😆😅

I work hard everyday but my job barely pays the bills so saving for something like this is in my dreams but I pray and ask God for guidance each and everyday so that I can have a home for me and my family that we own someday. The pricing of this home confirms that I need to leave California! You said in the video if you lived in a home like this you would probably have a maid. I thought it was going to be expensive. But nope. This home is pretty cheap! Especially when you consider it has all those $40k worth of upgrades! Wow. Yep. I need to move asap.

A little dissapointed that there's no coat closet at the entrance door, and love the wrap around porch.
It's a southern home. We don't wear coats. lol
Still, you want something, even small, ... all it would take is to cut off 2 feet of the bedroom closet on the other side ... that BR closet is plentY BIG ENOUGH.

Wow this looks nothing like the mobile homes that I've seen. This is simply stunning! I'm not one to ask the Lord for material things but if I did I'd pray to be able to have a mobile home like this! I personally love the overhead ducts and the separate shower and bathtub in the master bedroom but the one thing I never understood was the water closet in a bathroom. It kind of reminds me of the public bathrooms with the small stalls. lol

Finally, a high end home where the master closet is SEPARATE from the bathroom. I would not put linen in the toilet area. It would pick up odors.
Exactly! When did that become a thing? In the homes I've lived in, the master closet has ALWAYS been separate from the bathroom. The closet was part of the bedroom. I know how I want my future house to look and the master walk in closet will be it's own room with it's own door and plenty sheetrock in between separating it from the master bath.
I always wondered about the clothes in a closet in the bathroom building up mold due to the moisture. I never liked that either.

The one thing I couldn’t live with is that counter with pillars separating the LR from the kit. I’m sure it’s structural but I’d rather have a wall there if I couldn’t get the structural beam to support the weight. I think it’s the one thing that makes it look like a mobile home. Also, I do love that the kid’s bathroom has the vanity but why doesn’t the master have one? The houses these days don’t take into account that we need counter space in the bathroom. I’m also southern so I’d like a deeper porch if possible. We use our porches down here! 💟
I would love to see a home like this without the extras an fluff…….some people will just have enough funds to buy the home. Thanks for showing this beautiful home.

I'm an real estate appraisers. Contractors could take a lesson in decor from these mobile homes. They are still putting down that ugly red hardwood in new homes. Lol. Great decor!

@@moniqueramirez3202 There is huge discrimination vs "mobile homes" ranging from the banks, insurance to realtors because they view mobile homes as low quality...strangely enough, from what I've seen, I bet ANYTHING, that a brand new manufactured home like this one is much higher quality than my own home right now, but because it's stick built, they get a pass. Considering this home, a modular home has to follow the local jurisdiction laws regarding building construction, I would bet anything it will be just as good or better than a stick built home.

I ADORE the column/credenza separation between the kitchen, living room. I would never opt for a kitchen seen from the front door. I have that now and it is a pain. I am not that quick in the kitchen. But that little break would help.

I went to see this home a few weeks ago. The total price of this modular home is 255,00 minus the price for the garage. It's beautiful the company is called pratt modular homes in Tyler Tyler TX

@@kristinatidwell6563 yes, it is go early because they are very busy. I did a walk in but get an appointment if you can. I did all the walk through by myself they will hand you a key or you can follow behind others. One other thing it's 1000 dollars to get started with finding land and app fee etc.
KARLOZ LOPEZ Your wrong my friend! Modulars dont depreciate they appreciate like a site built home. They are NOT a trailer. They are as good or better than site built home using same materials on a permanent foundation and they appraise the same.
Love these homes, but for me as a Dutch woman, it's so weird stepping right inside into your livingroom. In The Netherlands we're accustomed to step first in a hallway where we put our jackets, shoes etc. and there's another benefit...no dirt/wind/rain right into your livingroom..
Makes total sense.
Most homes today people come in through a garage or side door into a mudroom to take off coats, boots etc and generally closer to the kitchen to drop off groceries.
Usually Homes in America have a side door with the mud room
Old homes were built with a foyer, and there are a lot of newer ones here built that way also.
Respectfully, after actually helping friends move to, and visiting The Netherlands from Florida, US, in 2005, this home demonstrated many times the SQ ft and options than were anywhere to be found in your area.
Most homes and apartments were actually akin to NYC apartments (Not a good thing in regards to size vs value).
Dunno where your thought process is from or going to, but it is indeed off.
As always when purchasing new homes of this nature/category in particular buyers have options up the WAZOO, in regards to door placements, partitions, etc, so I am really at a loss in comprehending the reality of your total comment.......jus' sayin'......

Loving This Exterior...The front porch is absolutely an Amazing eye Catcher..Those windows are elongated and really brightens up the inside of the house 🏠.The foyer always sets off the home 's as you enter inside...The Architect and Design Team did an immaculate and Outstanding job..The Construction Crew, I can only imagine how hard they worked putting this Home together,Gotta give the Mover's props for pulling the house's to each destination...And then having to set the House's up safely...😊🌞🌻☀️🌼😃 Wonderful Job To All Who worked on this Home 🏠.

Please Chance, find some modular homes that a wheelchair bound user could live in. Wide doorways, roll in showers, and access to front door via a covered ramp. Tall order I know
