Ss link (and many others) was so emotive and rather happy go lucky, but botw link is much more somber, and he’s seen so much more hardship. Not to mention the hardship and heartache she’s had to watch every iteration of link go through. @Sequelaboy7 Před 2 lety +37

      Not sure this claim makes any sense. Sheikah tech itself is related to the power to control time.
      1. Stasis literally stops time for a single object or enemy.
      2. Parrying and dodging grants Link the ability to slow his perception of time and increases his attack speed.
      3. When fast traveling, time literally stops for Link's body to turn into light, even in battle. He appears wherever you want and just then time starts flowing again.
      4. Time technically doesn't pass inside the Sheikah Shrines. You can relive the day of the Bloodmoon forever by entering one of the shrines before midnight.
      5. Sheikah Towers actually scan the land when activated. No matter how much the passing of time changes the landscape, the map will always portray an accurate version of it.
      Terrako is made of the same technology. Unfortunately his powers only allowed the Champions to save an alternate reality from "Ganon"

    • @5h0ckblock
      @5h0ckblock Před 2 lety +23

      @@Sequelaboy7 yeah I know about all of that. The only time related thing I was confused about was how Zelda as a child could build a time travelling robot even with shieka parts. You don't see large guardians travel through time but this little guy just does it.
      Now when I heard that the gate of times symbol is in the castle, that's when I figured Zelda maybe subconsciously added that to the inside of Terrako or just one of the parts he's made from is somehow related to the actual gate of time. In fact the portal he creates does have a similar ish design to the gate so knowing that the gate's design is in the castle solidifies a connection of some kind between the actual gate and the robot.
      At least that's where my brain went on the subject.

    • @theoaremevano3227
      @theoaremevano3227 Před 2 lety +34

      @@kacperwoch4368 : I think the presence of Demise in the same game would provide more character from Ganondorf than ever. The series has established that a mortal reincarnation does indeed have an individual will from their predecessor, as seen with Zelda admitting she fell for Link when Hylia had no such intentions. She sees herself as Zelda, not Hylia.
      Similar evidence can be found in Ganondorf, such as the ending of Windwaker where he muses about his reasons for invading Hyrule. In his remarks he says 'I coveted that wind.... I suppose'. As a man, he seems to question why his desires took him this far, unaware that his actions were fueled by an unnatural force.
      So if he becomes aware of Demise's influence in this game, it raises the very interesting question of "What would Ganondorf, the man, have to say about that?" Even if he goes on embracing the evil power, he'd be aware of the difference between his god-born rage and maliciousness and his own personal interests, which could lead to some very interesting dialogue with him (which is likely to be voiced this time also, so that'll be interesting to see.) :D

    Hey NBC and Monster Maze, love your work. A few more connections - Skyward Sword has Zelda guided by Impa to regain her memories / BOTW has Link guided by Impa to regain his memories > a direct parallel. Residents of Skyloft are deliberately given bird like qualities in design (referenced in Hyrule Historia) which could be linked to the Rito evolution, backed by a resemblance in the loft wing claw crest and the tail featured in the Knights crest - mixing the two creates the Rito crest which features on the paraglider given to Link in BOTW. The Rito are also described differently in Creating a Champion compared with Hyrule Encyclopedia, suggesting an evolution different from the Rito in WW (they can fly when young for example). There’s a few connections in the Skyward Sword concept art like the weird “blood moon” type image behind “the Imprisoned” and Torii gate designs in the Sealing grounds that resemble those in BOTW2 trailer.

      What if the origin story spoken of in oot is actually a timeline convergence or a reset? Though I think it basically turned it into skyward sword; groose cultivates the land (bomb flowers), zelda gives law to the land and governs it. Link brought life (people) to uphold that law.
      But what if it wasn't skyward sword?
      What if it was Ganon and the sheikah's overuse of time travel that enabled the whole world to be annilated? Or that the original triforce got destroyed, not just in fragments? Link between worlds teased what happens when there's no triforce to maintain balance. It could be the same conclusion oot's origin story for hyrule but each of the three goddess hailed from a one of three timelines, each believing in a different part of the triforce, in spite having the same wish to restore the world.
      Three different timelines
      Three goddesses
      Three triforce parts

    Maybe ancient Hylians, after the events of SS, moved the giant goddess statue and built the forgotten temple almost exactly like the sealed temple as an homage, then built Hyrule Castle over the spot where it was? It could explain the ruined gate of time in the castle in BotW, why the forgotten temple is much larger than the sealed temple, and why it seems like Demise has awoken underneath the castle.

    ive written this on Monster Maze's channel a while ago and even had this theory before the lastest trailer dropped but i'll talk about it here too:the lyrics to the ballad of the goddess, its known that its second verse is a hint toward openingthe thunder head but the first verse always puzzled me on how vague it truly is
    "Oh youth, guided by the servant of the goddess, unite earth and sky, and bring light to the land."
    of course this is ultimately speaking of reuning the isle of the goddess to its sealed grounds, but the way the song opens with this verse always left me thinking about how strange it is for this verse to be the first one, one of my assuptions when the idea of sky islands were brought up but not confirmed was that Ganon would actively plan on doing something that would involve cracking the land and sky, and it was confirmed by the trailer, it makes you think if anything that DID happen on SS would be actively Ganon's objective to undo, perhaps trying to strip the Master Sword from its sacred flames, perhaps pull a Ghirahim and try to extract the triforce from Zelda akin to how Ghirahim used Hylia's soul to revive Demise, SS's story is as classic as its open that we could see BOTW2's story attempting to take cues from SS's story and adapting it enough to be unique on its own

Though the fragments are not beings like the dragons or Korok. It's a mineral that be used for upgrading clothes. They are called star fragments because the people of Hyrule see falling rocks from the sky. Now we know there's floating islands, what else is up there? People? If not that, then what are the crystals?
