I appreciate the knowledge you share in your videos!
Appreciate you sharing my friend!
However, in my experience, you have to change out mono more bc it stretches. I had a day that I was throwing a big bait and it (K9) snapped off twice because it was line (izorline) that I had used for weeks.
I've used Big Game since the 90's. Experimented with many other brands, but always put my trust in Big Game. I prefer anywhere from 20# up to 30# depending on the bait and condition's.
Agreed on lower # lines. I use 80# Maxquattro to fluoro
While designing my glide, I never tried mono, but I designed it to work with 50 lb braid.
Then I threw it on some 15 lb fluro, and the fluro was night and day. I feel like the fluro helps keep the head of the bait right where it needs to be, and the bait level, when fished deeper, instead of the line wanting to pull the head of the bait up. I know line tie positioning changes all that, but with a constant line tie position, that's what I noticed. Definitely loving fluro over braid, but I totally understand wanting to throw it on braid to not lose it from a custumer's standpoint.
I’m betting this brand is going to be huge in a couple of years like up there with the big brands can’t wait
Hey man me and my brother talked to you at a fishing and tackle show in Oklahoma, we went down to oh-ivie and caught a few nice bass just like you said we had a 10+ pounder follow the glide for around 20 yards and not bite but we can’t find your baits anywhere else online maybe you can post a link or something
I use 25 lb berkleyXL smooth casting, sober cheap and I can cast about anything with my diawa Fuego lol even weightless dingers
what # do you use for maximum action?
The lighter the line the better the action due to less drag in the water. So 17 probably.
20# when throwing the Boss? Or upsize to 30?
I throw 20
I lost one yesterday. Id clip the first 10 feet off every day you throw it
