I bought one of these flow gliders and did this mod straight out of the package and this thing is sick! It literally chops so tight it almost doesn’t move forward, crazy little cover glide but now I have to buy more!
I just got into swimbait fishing all my rods are medium to medium heavy. So I didn't have a heavy casting rod, and I learned that if your strapped for cash DSG has a f&s tango heavy rod for under $30. So far it's been great for musky, pike, bass, and stripper. Also my local dsg just put up a massive 6th sense display so that's why I got into swimbait and musky fishing.
The modification really gave it great action. On another note FYI I used to bite my line off until I broke a chunk out of my front tooth and then I got the bill from the dentist and that's the last time I did that. Great video thanks for sharing your secret mod.

Good idea on the hacksaw I just brought a glide today the guy at the store told me to watch Ben’s video. And I don’t have a dremel so I’m glad I ran into your comment before I brought one because I do have a hacksaw!!!

Just bought my first expensive to me swim bait, large to me, it's like 6 inches I think, at a fishing expo the other day. I know that's not large but I'm used to frogs, jerk bait and crank baits. So this is huge to me. Anyway, thanks for the content. Hopefully I get drive good use out of the thing.

They are coming out with one thats made to glide and chop. Final prototype milliken has been using in opens and shit. More of a chad shad type action/hinkle action. It’ll be out this year.
Gonna put my old man dad hat on here , when cutting the baits take the hook off first . Especially if you’re not used to using power tools with cutting blades . Great video over all ! Awesome tips

I did this with one of the Mike Bucca Baby Bull Gills and holy BALLS does it fish like a completely different bait!!!! But I had done it like some time back. And didn't know that This was a thing of swimbaits that people do I was just trying to get it to turn more on a hard pause! .. it works. So if you're a beginner before u go mess up a 6 sense bait go buy u a few $14 baby bull shads or bull gills an try it on those for practice if for anything else!! 💪🏼✌🏼🕺🕺🕺
Just ordered 2 traces for a derb I got in 2 weekends. Wisco fall smallies are the target. A buddy just caught 28lbs of Northern wisco smallies on the trace. 2 day delivery we'll have em for practice.
Big TIP..if you do want to try this I would recommend the see through flow gliders. I am able to see where the plastic ends without worrying about cutting into the bait. awesome mod!
The small sander attachment is called a Drum Sander..also if you get some Cut Off Wheels you can cut and sand with it. The cut off wheel will get in tite like you small saw wheel. It just gives you a bit more.. control
Ive had a flow glider for a few years now first time i used it bass fishing i hooked into a giang tiger muskie and it got off. Never had another git on it again. Im a big time glide bait fan got thousands of dollars invested into it i paint my own and ive got a gan craft 303 on the way im going to paint my self. Could you try this with a spinning rod to show the difference between a bait caster and spinner. I currently only have spinners but would like a caster. Just not sure if it’s worth the money to switch if it doesn’t change much
I don't know if you've ever seen it but ultraviolet glue is the best thing in the world for fishing lures and repairs and making lures the ultraviolet light dries the glue instantly it is such good glue you can lay a fishing line beside another fishing line glue it and it will not break the glue takes thousands of pounds 10 South strengths to break it
So 6 sense gonna be releasing the Milliken chopped flow glide. Sick run of your pattern and color waves . Maybe your signature painted on the belly or back. I would buy them all day lol just saying you got your rod line, thinking your line of gear needs to grow !
The one flow glider I ordered was so stiff it wouldn’t glide at all. It’s on its way back to 6th sense for warranty. Hope the new one works better because it looks absolutely amazing.
@Milliken Fishing Im considering getting one for saltwater... modding it. But im pretty sure it will float in salt... lead around the hook the best way, or is there another more permanent way to add weight?

You should get Casey to keep the flow glider but change the front end of the mold to your enhancement and make a new bait the CHOP GLIDER 130 a new bait without months of testing and saves everyone from buying his baits to cut them up an instant hit I'd say I'd buy them!!!
i always modified baits ....i caught a 7 or 8 lb striper yesterday i grab hook with pliers it jumped an the treble hook went all the way through my finger i said dang i never had that happen before but there is a trick for that GOD BLESSING i always use a diamond bit from wal-mart for 9 dollars never have to buy but 1

I think 6th sense should use your input and re release this glide with your modifications. I like it and I'm gonna buy one!

Caught my first one on the gilliken draw today. Have caught a couple nice ones on the trace, definitely going to try this flow glider mod

Just picked up a few more up in the PNW lots of bluegill fisheries but no baits like this to use. Think I'm gonna load the boat with this hack.
I used a close quarter hack saw with 10" blade and worked like a champ. I drew a line for reference.

tape it down and use 2 hands for better control and less movement from what your cutting. Really good idea.
