- This "Study in Japan" series is meant to be a guide for those who are looking forward to studying in Japan. In this series, I'll be interviewing international students from different majors and ask in-depth questions about what their major is really like.
Today, we have Alexander from Sweden who is currently studying Animation at TOHO GAKUEN Film Techniques Training College to share his experiences.
You can find Alexander on Instagram: @recofiv3

Thank you so much for this!
Wooooooow, thanks a lot for this interview! I love you! 💜 LOL I am going for manga/illustration but I've NEVER come across someone who talks about their experience, but at least Alex would talk about animation which is my second option~
Oh, I wonder how hard would it be to actually get the scholarship with animation, I wanted to apply with that one and illustration as my other option but I'm still not too sure how should I put things, like normally they say to don't put things related to anime but if I want to study animation should I write about it, like not just like, yeah anime is cool, but like explain what makes me loved it and the art behind it and stuff? Also, like other types of Japanese art that I like?
In my country animation too is like not really a thing that it's like "great", only in like commercials, animation and illustrations are used, so it's really hard to study an art related career here if you don't want to be a graphic designer or an art teacher
Hey there! If you have any questions related to animation, I encourage you reaching to Alex, as he will answer those questions.
I was hoping for an inbrief on how exactly he got the scholarship. He didn't talk about MEXT at all
When are you going to make more videos on Specialized Training College scholarship? The application process is going to start soon.
Hey Vinayak. I hope you're preparing for the examination well. The new semester just started here, I don't have any time to make any more videos. If you have something you want to know, you can tell me here, I'll talk about it next time.

@@kolveasna9829 Can you make a video on tips regarding the written examination for Specialized College? Please include tips for Japanese exam too as I want to pursue animation and require a high score in Japanese since my Major is not Science related. Thanks a lot!!
@@saritadangwal967 Hey Sarita, Hope you're doing well preparing for the upcoming exam. I don't really have any tips on the Japanese Exam since I didn't know any Japanese when I took it, but from what I noticed of my fellow scholarship recipients, you'll be doing fine if your Japanese level is at N2, or better, N1. I hope this helps
@@kolveasna9829 thanks a lot!
