HAHAHAAH OMG!!!!!!! X_X I love you Veasna hahahaaha I'm your fan #1
Miss you, Boo.
Hey! Loved the video and your energy 🤩
Is it difficult to study in Japan in specialized training? How is your experience so far?
M glad that you find the video helpful. Right now, I'm a 1st year student in my specialized school, the courses here are very interesting but I find it a little bit difficult because of language problem.
Before coming to Japan, I had little to zero knowledge of Japanese language, so I only had 1 year of language study before specialized school. For me, I don't think it's enough, but you know, I'll try to learn by myself as much as I can now. And also right now, with the corona situation still going on, most of our classes are online, so whenever I have any questions, it's really hard to ask my teachers for more explanation. But anyway, I'll try my best and don't be discouraged, coming here is a really fun and challenging experience, I love all parts of this journey. I hope this helps.
Thanks a lot. I really needed these informations
Good luck on your journey.
Nice video! I love it lots of good infomations and tips!
And um may I ask you sth? I want to apply for specialized training college like you guys and in music field, my question is if I don’t have that much experience in music, can I apply in this field?
You don’t really need experience in music to apply for music related major, because in my opinion, what they’re looking for is passion. If you have a strong passion for music, go for it, but it also helps if you know stuff about music because they might ask questions about it during your interview. Hope this helps
How was your experience of further years bro? Are the exams completely in Japanese or are there English translation too?
I thank you both very much
However will they also pay for your visa and passport
If we extend stc course what we get
Which place {where} the interview would held in,?
Hey nice video, I´m from Costa Rica and I´m willing to apply this year. Cant decide if apply for Undergraduate or Specialized training college
That’s really nice. Whichever program you choose, I wish the best for you.
Buena suerte!
Gracias Joce
Can you make a video on how to fill application form for scholarship and which extra documents do I need to apply. Plzzz
Let me see what I can do about that. Good luck to you tho :)
I have completed my bachelor's in my home country now I want to apply for specialized training college am I eligible. ? Or only high school pass out can apply?
HIII, Im thinking of applying for mext the next year, Im BAD AT MATHS, tehe, im scared. my question is can you work in Japan while studying? what can you do and not do there?
Don’t worry, just give it a try. We can work here while studying, but it’s limited to 28 hours per week. You can work part time job here, but not like a full time job because you’re on a student visa. And I mean you can do anything you want here as long as it’s legal. If you have a more specific question, I think I can answer better.
@@kolveasna9829 thank you for responding !!!
Hey it's very helpful video for me , i am 14 years old Indian tho . I am gonna apply for mext specialized training, but the only question i have is what are the career options in specialized training i know it's kinda dumb question but still I can't find anything helpful in internet and my dream is to become a voice actor in Japan, is mext have voice acting options in it ( sorry for my superr poor grammar tho)
If I got into architecture specailized training can I continue into a university to get a bachelor's degree in architecture?
Yes, you can continue to university to get a bachelor degree in architecture, not just for architecture, but for all subjects.
Can i apply for stc after high school
Hi. Is there any personal expenses you have to cover when you arrived in Japan? Like rental fee? I heard the allowance will be given for about one to one and half month. How much money did you bring when you go to Japan? Thank you.
About the money, If you're applying for Specialized training program, you will be either staying at the dorm in Osaka or the dorm in Tokyo, so there will be no need to pay the rent until you get your first allowance, which is around the end of April, but all the basic expenses like food, commuting, and travelling in that first month, you will have to pay by yourself.
My embassy told me to bring around 2000$, but I don't think you even need that much. I do recommend to bring at least 500$-1000$ for all the basic needs in that first month. I hope this helps.
Are you allowed to do a part time job?
You can do part time jobs as long as you have the permission on your residence card, but you can only do it after 3 months of entering japan.
Can you get employed after specialized training college in japan ?
Can I apply if I don't know Japanese, and how long does it take to learn the language?
It is possible to get the scholarship without japanese. But without any knowledge of the language youll be at a big disadvantage. Knowing at least minimal japanese is highly recommended. It takes usually 3 years to learn Japanese at a normal speed. With dedication it is possible in 1 year i guess
Sorry for the grammar
Can u include the links of the application form or the websites that would be useful?
I will find some websites to put up here. Thanks for commenting.
Hi and thanks for the video :) I'm 29 right now, do you think it's too late for me, or do I have a chance to get into the specialized training program?
Hey, I recommend you checking the Japanese embassy of your country and ask about it or just check their websites, because it varies from country to country, so I’m not really sure if you still can apply. But If you do, I wish you the best.
Does it have to be in Tokyo or Osaka? I want to go to animation school in Kyoto.
you can not choose what school you're going to study. the government will decide what school is best for you.
What further studies can i pursue after the specialised training course? Like can i pursue my masters after a specialised training course?
you can go directly into masters degree but you have to self fund it
@@kolveasna9829 So isn't the requirement for a masters degree is a bachelor's degree?
it comes down to which university you want to study your masters. some universities do allow you to study masters degree with just specialized training course. you have to check with the university itself.
Hello I’m applying this year I’ve been learning Japanese for a year to prepare but it’s hard to find info about the specialized one…for the recommendation letter did you have a teacher do it & did they use the sample? No teachers from hs remembers me so idk what to do😞
Hi, how difficult were the exams?
@@jarejandro9_yt333 hi~ lol it’s funny looking back on this. I didn’t make it past the first screening 🥲 very likely due to my poor grades in high school. maybe i’ll try again for the masters
@@user-qp6jt7mk8r Oh well so wish you success, ive heard that research is easier because theres no math but you have to know at least intermediate japanese
Plz i want to ask y, if i studied with specialist training is it easy to get the bachelor's degree or what plz i need the answer?
Specialized training is more for those who wants to get a job fast, you only have to study 2 years of your preferred majors and a few qualification exams then you can get a job. And for bachelor’s degree, sure, you c an continue the study to get it, but whether it’s easy or not, it really depends on which university you want to get into.
Could you help 😞 how do we reach u out
Hi! Sorry to bother! I wanted to know more about the school you go after the first year. Is it 専門学校? They send you to the 専門学校 they want, right?
After our first year in Japanese language school, we’ll be sent to our assigned 専門学校. And How MEXT assigns our 専門学校 is depending on what we write in our choice of study. Normally, They’ll read it and see which school suits with our choices the most. And when we get to Japan, check out the school they chose for us and think it doesn’t suit us, we are also able to discuss about changing major with MEXT committee. I hope this helps.
@@kolveasna9829 it did!! Thank you so much!
Hlw dude hope uu r fine my question is if I want to apply for music or film still I have to prepare for math and I don't even know the first word of Japanese so what should I do how will I pass the exam 😩😩
Thank you
I guess study the basics😭
do you think it is okay to apply for specialized training college even though I have a bachelor’s degree already?
I'm currently in my 2nd year of my film degree in my country and I plan on studying in an animation college after language school in 2024, anyone can feel free to contect me
Hellooo. Even though is not definitive and must wait for the final response, does the recommendation means that you're almost surely getting the scholarship?
Hi there I am also wondering this. Any update on your side? Thanks in advance!
hey, I passed this year and now I'm waiting for my departure. can you give me some advice what to bring/prepare?
Your country already finished their selection?
@@annistephenn yep, departing to Japan in 2 weeks! btw it was 2022 selection
@@aya_yaya862 can I get your Instagram? I’d like to ask some questions...congratulations by the way 💯
Congrats for getting the scholarship, did you find the math exam hard to solve?
Woahh!! Congrats..which course
Is it possible for those who have a bachelor's degree to apply for MEXT specialized training or is this strictly for high school graduates?
You still can apply even if you finished bachelor degree as long as you’re still under the age limit.
@@kolveasna9829 can i apply while im at 25 exactly?
Thanks, you passes the written exam without maths?
the exam does include math
I am doing mba and I want stc in computer can I fill the form or am I not eligible for Mext?
yes you can. you just have to check the requirements in japan embassy's site in your country
Can specialized student continue study college or undergraduate after graduate the course? What we have to do after finished the course?
Yes, We can. The thing about College and Specialized Training Program, They kind of have the same qualification, so if you graduate from either one of them, you can continue to university, either 2nd year or 3rd year, university of your choices. In order to be able to continue the scholarship, you have to get at least the score of 2.85/3 and 90 percent of attendance up in your specialized school. And also, you have to pass the entrance exam to university of your choice. I hope this helps.
Kol Veasna excuse me b! What you mean by 2nd year or 3rd year, can you elaborate
Ry Manydine after Graduating specialised training program, you can continue to any university you want as long as you get the score required, it needs to be at least 2.85/3. Some universities let you continue to 3rd year directly but some universities still require you to study from 2nd year again. So it really depends on which university you choose to continue your study. Hope this answers your question.
@@kolveasna9829 do you need to get a new visa in that case ?
@@conjuretwd3007 If you can continue the scholarship, your visa will be renewed for you.

Aiii, kom merl, yerng kmas kmoch xD
Can I choose master but i live in country that’s not my hometown so I cannot apply ?
I don’t think you can apply while you’re not in your hometown country tho, but again, you should confirm with the embassy again whether you can apply or not, there’s a slight chance that you can still apply.
@@kolveasna9829 I cannot go back to my hometown since occupation all my family the same our life is ruined
does Photography Major comes in Non-maths related?
If you’re talking about the scholarship exams, all majors need to take math exam. But if you’re talking about when studying in japan, it really depends on what school you’re in, some schools still require one term of math, some schools don’t. So I guess, you can give it a try first and let’s see what it’s like when you get here.
Ok thnx for the help
What kind of English question was coming previous year?
Please ans me! I am nominated by Japan embassy in our country
Wow congratulations 🎉 u made it im happy for u can i ask u question im from Palestine do u think I can apply too I can’t go back to my hometown since occupation so I don’t stand chance right ?

You both are really amazing, I want the have the luck of the boy to have such a funny, talkative and beatiful girl hahaha... My selfsteem went up to the sky after I heard it was not their first time. This was super informative and helpful! My daughter is a high school student and wants to apply to MEXT Specialized College. Now we are both educated on the process thanks to you both!
Question: after your three years, do you know if you earn a certificate or license of some sort? I am guessing the Specialized College is not the same as the MEXT Undergraduate program where you earn a bachelors degree.
I’m so glad this video can help you.
After finishing the specialized training degree, you’ll get a qualification certificate and can find jobs in Japan. I’m not sure if you can use that certificate to find jobs in other countries.
Is applying still open for 2020?
The application for 2020 is already closed, you can wait for 2021 around april or may.
Can I apply from Japan? If I'm in Japan?
It is probably hard, if not outright impossible, to apply through the Embassy within Japan. I think you have to go back to your country and apply from there.
what level of study is the Specialized Training College? is it a diploma or certificates?

Yo también estoy en la misma situación, y soy pésima en matemáticas, creo que por lo que dice Jos, no es extremadamente necesario, pero es mejor tomar cursos antes...
