I live in Toronto and I lived in Toronto when Meghan lived here. I can tell you that there aren't many paparazzi based here. We have a large film and television production industry in the city (hence why Meghan was living here) and we get many much, much more famous people living here for months at a time and they aren't swarmed by paparazzi because they just aren't here. Celebrities in Toronto are truly able to go about pretty normal lives while living here. For example, Rachel McAdams owns a house here and is known to take the streetcar and no one bothers her. The only time of year where there are some paparazzi in the city is about two weeks in September during the Toronto International Film Festival. Hordes of celebrities come up to premiere their films and paparazzi fly up as well. However, they are mostly found on red carpets and camped out in front of luxury hotels, so this idea of photographers chasing Meghan down Toronto highways is pretty ridiculous.
The fact is. There would be images. Swarms if images if it were true. Like there were images of the house on Vancouver island. And that Tyler Perry's house. But there just isn't much on her house in Toronto. from memory I've seen two images. One of her with flowers doing a pap walk down her street and another of just her house.. that I'm not sure were even taken at the time she lived there.
@@ScenicWanders Exactly - where are all these photos? I have seen precisely one of MM in the UK dressed as described in this video, carrying an *empty* shopping bag with a logo that, if memory serves, had some kind of eco message on it. She looks like any normal shopper and no other shopper appears to notice this hoard of paparazzi chasing her. One photo suggests that there was just one photographer, and my guess is that she called him herself. The shop she went to, and which she claims had magazines with her image plastered all over it doesn't actually sell magazines, and there is no way the shop manager/assistants would allow the behaviour described. That in and of itself is a story but, like the absence of photos, there was an absence of articles about it.

According to Harry, Meghan was a superstar, famous with years in the industry and grew up in Hollywood sets, yet she doesn't know how to handle the paparazzi and is crying about it every 5 minutes. Make it make sense.
She was used to paid PR puff pieces and media sessions with only fans in the audience. Very different to what the Royal Family deal with. Soon after the Oprah debacle I googled her claim about negative press compared to Catherine's. There is a media monitor site that showed Mehgan's press before Harry was very high, all positive. Then after joining the RF, her press was MUCH less than she was used to, but more press than Catherine. They both had the same ratio of positive and negative. Definitely NOT more negative press than Catherine. Most press articles were neutral in tone.
🤣.... sobbing on the floor. Wonder if there was a scene in Suits where she had to do this, or maybe she was recollecting the BJ scene in 90210, using her fabulous acting skills to adapt to a floor situation. Only award winning actors can do that....
What an excellent point! Right on!! Kathleen MacPhee commented that Meghan was a smart girl and she could handle the media attention because she should understand that it comes with the life she was entering. Even though it’s been proven that it wasn’t as intense as any of the other royal women’s attention, Harry says that Meghan’s was different because of the racial element. It was ok , I guess, what happened to Diana, Catherine, and Queen Camilla.

Saint Meghan was able to make up a supermarket stalker story, throw herself on the floor and start crying on cue as soon as she heard Harry come in , and she STILL found the time to throw some salmon into the oven. How DOES she do it all??? 😂😂
Harry was on eggshells with her from day one. My ex-husband was/is just like MM. I remember my first real 'transgression ' which was staying behind after work to have drinks with my work friends. In those years, I worked when he slept and I slept when he worked and we had the days together. I had no idea that I'd done anything wrong but he was fuming mad, left for work, angry and aggressive and I was given the silent treatment for a week, maybe more. From then on I was always nervous and would ask if it was ok for me to socialize without him and he'd reply 'of course ' like I was insane for asking permission. These people are evil regardless of their intention.
I had a colleague and although we always invited her for after work drinks, she rarely said yes. When she did say yes her boyfriend was texting her constantly and always wanted to pick her up earlier than initially agreed. What was confusing for us ( why was he texting her ? He knew where she was, he knew who she was with, he knew when she would be done) must have been devastating and embarrassing for her.😢😢
Oh you had the same husband I did! Once, in university, I stopped after class with some friends for coffee. When I got home I was grilled about why I was late. I told him I’d stopped for coffee with classmates. I might as well have told him I’d stopped for an illicit affair with my professor! He got mad and stayed mad for weeks. He kept referring to it as “strike one” - and told me when I got to strike three I was in “serious trouble”. Thankfully I left him. I couldn’t live under that sort of ridiculous stress.

I think it is well known that she knew everything about Diana. She watched the wedding video many times, and had a copy of Andrew Morton’s book on Diana. She had seen all the photos of Diana. She studied her. How else would she have known Diana’s favourite perfume, or dress like her? She and H think we are stupid. The Compton article was real, but it was an article by American based reporters for the Daily Mail that dealt with class differences. It was not a racially based article. Compton is actually majority White/Hispanic: 22% white 69% Hispanic/Latino 27% black

If Diana was abused by a therapist, she had an ethical obligation to report them to their licensing board to protect other patients. Was she so self-centered that she would have taken no action in response to abuse?

Thank you for sparing me buying this book. I have an offbeat suggestion to keep in mind. It’s called FRANCES, by Diana’s mom. It’s a memoir of how she lost her kids in divorce. She had an affair and left Diana’s father, an Earl, who obviously had a lot more power and the English courts favored the men and easily made women to be crazy and scandalous in 60s/70s. My mom had it years ago. Frances outlived her youngest daughter and wrote after her death. I think it would be another perspective on how no aspect of this family is rosy and perfect. It’s easy to blame the royals. Frances couldn’t do that b/c she was seen as abandoning her children. When really they were kept from her. And Earl Spencer moved a step mom in pretty quick. But a lot more details than just what I’ve said. Forgive me for forgetting her last name. She remarried or used maiden name. Thx again. You are a great orator and analyst. Common sense is the best.
See-I think part of H knew that MM was going to make a bee line for the Taj Mahal and play innocent. He shows that he is onto her. He just wants to shove their version down our throats. He knew she wouldn’t get away with that stunt. And if hounded in Canada, she lived with Cory V. That would’ve been out there is any member of the press was truly obsessed with her. I mean if one reporter asked the question. At some point, he’s not that dumb. He’s arrogantly telling his truth over and over and they’ve kind of indicated that they don’t think the public gets it, so they’ll keep telling it. Either b/c stupid public doesn’t matter. He’s living in spite of family, waging war through the press, taking advantage of a polarized US, with no regard for how treacherous he is to the public. They’ll burn everything down with this truth less and less believe. So by him revealing, inadvertently, how manipulative she is, is he crying for help? Or showing he knows cuz he just can’t be this dim.
It's not an off-beat idea, in my opinion, you've looked in exactly the right place, I'm just not sure you have read the right book, maybe you have. I recently read "The Real Diana" by Lady Colin Campbell and the entire way through, all I could think was "Meghan's read this book, studied this book and made it her playbook. It explains so much, all the lies on Oprah, the Palace courtiers, the unkind family. Even Waaagh is full of bits you can see she added in, straight from the book, how he's totally rewritten his past, they never begged King Charles not to marry Camilla! But Diana and her siblings, Jane, Sarah and Charles all begged they father not to marry Raine. If you read the book, you'll see what I mean, you've got a lot of it from the book you've read about Frances. It really is an eye opener. If anyone is a total Diana fan, it may not be the best book for them, it's searingly honest about her faults and behaviour, but much of it comes from Diana herself, and the rest from Lady C's Palace, Royal and society contacts. She's very careful about checking facts. If you haven't read it, you should, you can almost hear Meghan ticking off the paragraphs in the margin "yep, use that one, change this one a bit, use that one, blah blah blah". It's a real eye opener and has clearly been a huge influence in the things she's said since marrying the spare. Your theory isn't out there at all, it's just people either haven't read the books or not connected the dots if they have.
@@TefiTheWaterGipsy I have read all the books about Diana and her family, and Lady Di wasn't at all well. Her family should have taken better care of her, they knew she was unhinged. But it was a great thing to marry into the royal family, so they sacrificed her in my opinion. Frances was 18 when she married the earl, and she had a tough time with him, producing a male heir. They separated in 1967, and Frances did actually get to see the children after a while, but her own mother, Lady Fermoy, testified against her. The stepmother, Raine, married the earl in 1976, so the children were teenagers. diana was really vile to her. In 1978 the earl had a stroke, and Raine nursed him back to life, with a new drug she got. He lived another 14 years, an Diana made up with Raine. So there are no real devils and no angels, as in most cases in families. The treatment of the young women in the aristocracy was rather appalling, though.
Yes, and Earl Spencer was not interested in his kids - he just would not let her mother raise them out of spite & pride. Sent to Boarding School. Diana suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder. Harry inherited the 'Spencer Gene'. If a female has generous qualities & beauty, the fragility BPD presents is very compelling. Marilyn Monroe suffered from it also. They present like a beautiful little wounded bird - which they are. With men the emotional volatility present with rage. I think if Diana had survived, she would have had the insight & found her healing.

Diana was not academically gifted so went to finishing school. Diana created a "Cult" around herself & the 'poor me' soap opera. I am sure you get excoriated by people in the comment section for just having a rational adult perspective. Harry inherited her BPD & Paranoia. It presented in her as compelling fragility to the public, but I am sure she was hell to live with behind doors.
What took Diana's life was a drunken driver, no seatbelt and speeding into a tunnel. She played the media, gave them notice, then was angry, from all the possible sources I have, this is very much her own doing. The paps could only have taken photos of her, if they hade caught up with the car, and they could have used a car with darker windows. Listening in on phones is of course a heinous, and criminal thing to do, but that happened to Charles as well. But as you say, Meghan and Harry have nothing, without the drama. They both need help, I'm truly worried about them and their children.

Compton is in LA, and most Brits were unfamiliar with it, besides the article was written by an American...so. Also it took less than a week from Camilla Tomini published that they were together, till Harry demanded that his PR department tell the press that she was racially profiled, and he wanted her compared to Diana, in spite of Mr. Knauf telling them that the Diana comparison may be was a bit OTT. She is fooling no one but Harry.
And all the while, Megain is enjoying every second of the attention. She likes it so much, she creates the drama. She is the most bizarre example of "a self made woman".

The other thing is, that's just Canada! People don't go nuts over celebrities; lots of films are shot in Vancouver and Toronto, and crazy crowds of fans and paparazzi are just not a thing here. This is why their false claim that they wanted a quiet life and were moving to Canada was so plausible; that's where you WOULD move if you wanted to have a normal life and go around without being pestered all the time. They could have had that here, but it was never what Meghan wanted.

HIPPA is taken very seriously by the US. If the paps were taking pictures at Doris’s patient’s homes, they would’ve been easily charged under HIPPA. Including fines and jail time. As would the wolf men for harassing Megan in Toronto. These two claim things that can either be easily disproven or would have cost the perpetrators more than a picture would net them. It boggles the mind that anyone would believe it. Everyone who visits the Taj Mahjal takes a picture in front of it. William and Kate as well as Diana with Charles are pictured in front of it. Harry takes a lot of liberties with his outrage.

I think William issued one statement after 2007 but it wasn't crazy. He also provided Catherine and her family with a palace resource to help them according to one biography.
Living here in the US, I seriously do not remember reading about Meghan being hounded. So maybe it was just in the UK. There have already been many stories of how she kept contacting the Toronto Police and they found nothing. Her whole 'sobbing uncontrollably on the floor and inconsolable' is just ridiculous. I read that the police were exasperated with her constant calling that prowlers were by her home and they could never find anything to support this. Two Toronto paps publicly talked of how she was friendly and that there were only two of them. Her stories of being hounded is her delusional fantasy to feel important.
I can't remember any, ANY press, about Meghan before Harry put that statement out. I am so much of a Royalist I didn't think I missed hardly anything about them, yet I was shocked when that came out: "Wait... he has a girlfriend?! That he says we need to leave alone? Have I seen or read anything about her, or him for a very long time." So I remember that statement very clearly and how much of a huge surprise it for me. Even remember telling mom about it at the time.

The crazy scenario is that he allows this woman to make him feel small all because he is too obsessed to understand she is not the type that is worth keeping, as she keeps degrading him! He hates the fact that people are calling her out for dragging him down, and he wants to correct that narrative but he continues to prove everyone’s point when he is encouraged to do a lot of stupid things. That is why they continually keep trying to revamp their brand because they know it’s not strong enough to convince the shrewd part of society that has made some excellent points. The pap story was totally debunked, she was one cobblestone street away wearing a beanie with the grin of a cheshire cat, carrying a cloth bag of groceries to the gate, looking around smiling, it was one tourist that got the video and a few pics on her IPHONE and sold them! Her Suit’s cast members said she was always dressing up, calling the paps to tell them where she’d be shopping that day, NO ONE CARED! Megs is writing this part! She also told him he needed to release a statement that SHE was his gf or she was breaking up with him! She’s almost 40 and he’s almost mid 30’s, it’s ridiculous! Tom Bower and Valentine Low really get into who Megs is a person and how deceitful and manipulative she is. She said she wasn’t even offended by the “Straight out of Compton” headline because she had friends that lived there, however she’s always been privileged it’s been revealed, Doria did disappear for 10 years of her life no one will say why and Megs put she was white on a lot of applications even college, she’s either 1/4 or 1/8. I love the content here how she’s always staring dagger’s jealous of beautiful Kate, and Diana’s engagement ring on her finger, a lot of people speculate she was really after William, if you watch some clips she’s staring all dreamy at him, he never looks back in her ne clip and plays with his scarf for 5 minutes so he doesn’t have to walk beside her and Kate gets finished talking to people to come save him. Also one of her Suits coworkers said she was living with another man when she started dating Harry, and the time overlaps, and she famously said “The better you lay the carpet, the more you can walk on it (men)”
Well, if her mum's black and dad's white she's obviously 1/2. She just looks really REALLY white. No one ever looked at meg and thought "oh look , there goes a black lady" so she can shut up about going through hardships, and being a victim.

I have a degree in English yet I never found American English so different than British English to cause a language barrier when both are native speakers.
I find the "did you maybe hear adults talk like that to each other when you were a child?" Highly strange. I don't know anyone whose first response to a terrible treatment is to a) walk away and b) then IMMEDIATELY in the first sentences of the conversation that follows then tie the incident to the childhood of a 30+ year old, and in a way that creates ambiguity towards responsibility. If she'd have first asked: "do you even respect me?" Or "is that part of the British culture, to treat people like that?" Or whatever, I would understand her questioning then turning to his childhood after. But there's no reason to bring up the childhood so early in the clearing conversation because someone's childhood is no excuse for treating others badly anyway (esp not if you're 30+ and have relationship experience) and also, the first point of discussion for things like this is usually someone's behavior and making peace again (or ending the relationship). Not psychoanalyzing in a way that allows the other person to potentially shift the responsibility. I'm really wondering if she wanted to use the incident to tell him what a terrible childhood he had and how his family sucked. It just doesn't make sense to me why else she'd have brought his childhood up this early.

KP’s main entrance is across the street from the daily mail offices, which is where she went - when he’d urged her to go through a side entrance. There’s 2 shots of her walking alone, neither of which seem like pap shots or her being hounded. My question is if she was that traumatized how did she fix lunch? She wailing on the floor. It’s all just a manipulation - he couldn’t save mummy, he has to save her. And that house is probably the Beckhams, who she accused of selling stories about her to the tabloids - they lent their Beverly Hills home to her while they were dating as a favor to him. They have no relationship anymore because she got him to accuse Victoria of selling stories on her to David and neither took it well - they’re both vastly more famous, and richer, than she’ll ever be. Also, none of this makes sense. If she were this incredibly famous person then wouldn’t she be stalked by paparazzi already and she be used to it? Brad Pitt’s mother doesn’t get stalked by the paps.
That bit about Meghan sobbing on the floor as she tells Harry about being chased by paps and fans has to be the best acting she ever did. Too bad no Hollywood directors saw it. I never thought about it before, but it's true that the two of them "fighting the good fight" against the press, the public and the royals is probably the only thing that binds them together. Brit here! 👋🇬🇧 I don't read newspapers so I can't comment on what the headlines were at the time. (Like you said, it's just trash mags anyway). What I do know is how (my area of the country at least) felt here 'down on the ground' and my experience of it was that people were happy and excited at the thought of Harry and Meghan (getting married). We all looked forward to and welcomed it 🎉🎊 We were genuinely happy until the cracks started to show. And sadly, our perception of them (especially after slating our Royal Family and us, the People) has deteriorated ever since 😕

There were very few stories that could be considered the slightest bit racist. The vast majority of the UK press and people were excited about her. In Courtiers, Low says Harold's staff was harranged by him to push back at the press long before M. I'm pretty sure the only time there were battling house holds is when Charles and Diana were separated Charles hired some one to help combat the war Diana had waged and try and rehabilitate Charles but he went to far and was let go, according to Lady C. I read her book about H&M but really want to read her books about Diana.
They bring up the “racism” of the Daily Mail (it came from an American newspaper) and the “exotic blood” yet I heard both those articles intended to be ‘rags to riches’ stories. They were looking for reasons to be insulted

Where are all these photos the people in the supermarket took. What paparazzi asks for a photo for their wife/mother?! They just call out your name and take a pic. Where are the paparazzi photos of her in the car?

But with William it was far worse than megan , by 2006 she had a journalist hack her phone 155 times , also she used to have press of 15 to 20 outside her door and following her all day long , her trying to get in her car on a bus at work , they were relentless even on London buses one newspaper ran an advert with her picture and the headline waity Katy plastered all over them in London the tube etc , it took a long time but William finally snapped , after that she was still hounded but , bus and tube advert stopped , lots of paps camped outside her flat sort of stopped , although they were still there every day , they didn't get right in her face or block her fro,m going anywhere. Megan had none of this harassment

Meghan is the Queen of Drama Queens. When Harry is not around, she makes up scenarios wherein she is being targeted in order to get him in line. In Canada, I think she was setting him up to think she needed his protection and the way to do that is to make a commitment.

Harry seems fixated on the handful of negative press at the start, but I remember the press before the wedding being overwhelmingly positive and excited. I was thrilled about Meghan initially, it wasn’t until a year after the wedding that I started to see why their behaviour might be a problem and it only continues to get worse

In my opinion, I think she (M) has been trying to get away from him all along… excuse after excuse… but is trapped because of what happened to his mom and the guilt she would feel/face for what this would do to him. I once had breakfast in a small, British seaside hotel. It was full. A very popular British soap star from a current, long running series came in with (presumably) his wife. I noticed him. You could see that everyone else had too and took covert glances. No one approached him. No one took a photo. I could quote other instances. It's just a British thing

Asking if he heard people talk 'like that' (whatever 'that' was) sounds like a stern Mommy asking her potty-mouth little boy where did hear that word. Really, it's like Ralphie's mom grilling him on where he picked up the F-word, as he sits there with a bar of soap in his mouth. (Of course, the answer was that his old man used that word 50 times every day, but he couldn't admit that!) This was such an obvious power play by Meghan. If he'd snapped back that if that's the way she felt, she could leave, she'd have backed down in a hurry, but I'm sure she never would have tried such a stunt if she hadn't been sure that he'd be easily cowed and would fall into line.
I live in Toronto and I lived in Toronto when Meghan lived here. I can tell you that there aren't many paparazzi based here. We have a large film and television production industry in the city (hence why Meghan was living here) and we get many much, much more famous people living here for months at a time and they aren't swarmed by paparazzi because they just aren't here. Celebrities in Toronto are truly able to go about pretty normal lives while living here. For example, Rachel McAdams owns a house here and is known to take the streetcar and no one bothers her. The only time of year where there are some paparazzi in the city is about two weeks in September during the Toronto International Film Festival. Hordes of celebrities come up to premiere their films and paparazzi fly up as well. However, they are mostly found on red carpets and camped out in front of luxury hotels, so this idea of photographers chasing Meghan down Toronto highways is pretty ridiculous.
Is it also because Canadians are a friendly bunch, but they’re not star struck fools who worship vacuous celebrity above all else?

The fact is. There would be images. Swarms if images if it were true. Like there were images of the house on Vancouver island. And that Tyler Perry's house. But there just isn't much on her house in Toronto. from memory I've seen two images. One of her with flowers doing a pap walk down her street and another of just her house.. that I'm not sure were even taken at the time she lived there.

I have seen precisely one of MM in the UK dressed as described in this video, carrying an *empty* shopping bag with a logo that, if memory serves, had some kind of eco message on it. She looks like any normal shopper and no other shopper appears to notice this hoard of paparazzi chasing her. One photo suggests that there was just one photographer, and my guess is that she called him herself. The shop she went to, and which she claims had magazines with her image plastered all over it doesn't actually sell magazines, and there is no way the shop manager/assistants would allow the behaviour described. That in and of itself is a story but, like the absence of photos, there was an absence of articles about it.

There is a media monitor site that showed Mehgan's press before Harry was very high, all positive. Then after joining the RF, her press was MUCH less than she was used to, but more press than Catherine. They both had the same ratio of positive and negative.

Kathleen MacPhee commented that Meghan was a smart girl and she could handle the media attention because she should understand that it comes with the life she was entering. Harry was on eggshells with her from day one. My ex-husband was/is just like MM. I remember my first real 'transgression ' which was staying behind after work to have drinks with my work friends. In those years, I worked when he slept and I slept when he worked and we had the days together. I had no idea that I'd done anything wrong but he was fuming mad, left for work, angry and aggressive and I was given the silent treatment for a week, maybe more. From then on I was always nervous and would ask if it was ok for me to socialize without him and he'd reply 'of course ' like I was insane for asking permission. These people are evil regardless of their intention.
I know this sort as well…it’s a very real nightmare being linked to people like that.
I had a colleague and although we always invited her for after work drinks, she rarely said yes. When she did say yes her boyfriend was texting her constantly and always wanted to pick her up earlier than initially agreed. What was confusing for us ( why was he texting her ? He knew where she was, he knew who she was with, he knew when she would be done) must have been devastating and embarrassing for her.😢😢
Oh you had the same husband I did! Once, in university, I stopped after class with some friends for coffee. When I got home I was grilled about why I was late. I told him I’d stopped for coffee with classmates. I might as well have told him I’d stopped for an illicit affair with my professor! He got mad and stayed mad for weeks. He kept referring to it as “strike one” - and told me when I got to strike three I was in “serious trouble”. Thankfully I left him. I couldn’t live under that sort of ridiculous stress.

Thank you for sparing me buying this book. I have an offbeat suggestion to keep in mind. It’s called FRANCES, by Diana’s mom. It’s a memoir of how she lost her kids in divorce. She had an affair and left Diana’s father, an Earl, who obviously had a lot more power and the English courts favored the men and easily made women to be crazy and scandalous in 60s/70s. My mom had it years ago. Frances outlived her youngest daughter and wrote after her death. I think it would be another perspective on how no aspect of this family is rosy and perfect. It’s easy to blame the royals. Frances couldn’t do that b/c she was seen as abandoning her children. When really they were kept from her. And Earl Spencer moved a step mom in pretty quick. But a lot more details than just what I’ve said. Forgive me for forgetting her last name. She remarried or used maiden name. Thx again. You are a great orator and analyst. Common sense is the best.
See-I think part of H knew that MM was going to make a bee line for the Taj Mahal and play innocent. He shows that he is onto her. He just wants to shove their version down our throats. He knew she wouldn’t get away with that stunt. And if hounded in Canada, she lived with Cory V. That would’ve been out there is any member of the press was truly obsessed with her. I mean if one reporter asked the question. At some point, he’s not that dumb. He’s arrogantly telling his truth over and over and they’ve kind of indicated that they don’t think the public gets it, so they’ll keep telling it. Either b/c stupid public doesn’t matter. He’s living in spite of family, waging war through the press, taking advantage of a polarized US, with no regard for how treacherous he is to the public. They’ll burn everything down with this truth less and less believe. So by him revealing, inadvertently, how manipulative she is, is he crying for help? Or showing he knows cuz he just can’t be this dim.
It's not an off-beat idea, in my opinion, you've looked in exactly the right place, I'm just not sure you have read the right book, maybe you have.
I recently read "The Real Diana" by Lady Colin Campbell and the entire way through, all I could think was "Meghan's read this book, studied this book and made it her playbook. It explains so much, all the lies on Oprah, the Palace courtiers, the unkind family. Even Waaagh is full of bits you can see she added in, straight from the book, how he's totally rewritten his past, they never begged King Charles not to marry Camilla! But Diana and her siblings, Jane, Sarah and Charles all begged they father not to marry Raine. If you read the book, you'll see what I mean, you've got a lot of it from the book you've read about Frances. It really is an eye opener. If anyone is a total Diana fan, it may not be the best book for them, it's searingly honest about her faults and behaviour, but much of it comes from Diana herself, and the rest from Lady C's Palace, Royal and society contacts. She's very careful about checking facts. If you haven't read it, you should, you can almost hear Meghan ticking off the paragraphs in the margin "yep, use that one, change this one a bit, use that one, blah blah blah". It's a real eye opener and has clearly been a huge influence in the things she's said since marrying the spare.
Your theory isn't out there at all, it's just people either haven't read the books or not connected the dots if they have.

But it was a great thing to marry into the royal family, so they sacrificed her in my opinion. Frances was 18 when she married the earl, and she had a tough time with him, producing a male heir. They separated in 1967, and Frances did actually get to see the children after a while, but her own mother, Lady Fermoy, testified against her. The stepmother, Raine, married the earl in 1976, so the children were teenagers. diana was really vile to her. In 1978 the earl had a stroke, and Raine nursed him back to life, with a new drug she got. He lived another 14 years, an Diana made up with Raine. So there are no real devils and no angels, as in most cases in families. The treatment of the young women in the aristocracy was rather appalling, though.

The paps could only have taken photos of her, if they hade caught up with the car, and they could have used a car with darker windows. Listening in on phones is of course a heinous, and criminal thing to do, but that happened to Charles as well. But as you say, Meghan and Harry have nothing, without the drama. They both need help, I'm truly worried about them and their children.

Also it took less than a week from Camilla Tomini published that they were together, till Harry demanded that his PR department tell the press that she was racially profiled, and he wanted her compared to Diana, in spite of Mr. Knauf telling them that the Diana comparison may be was a bit OTT. I read that the police were exasperated with her constant calling that prowlers were by her home and they could never find anything to support this. Two Toronto paps publicly talked of how she was friendly and that there were only two of them. Her stories of being hounded is her delusional fantasy to feel important.
I can't remember any, ANY press, about Meghan before Harry put that statement out. I am so much of a Royalist I didn't think I missed hardly anything about them, yet I was shocked when that came out: "Wait... he has a girlfriend?! That he says we need to leave alone? Have I seen or read anything about her, or him for a very long time." So I remember that statement very clearly and how much of a huge surprise it for me. Even remember telling mom about it at the time.

The crazy scenario is that he allows this woman to make him feel small all because he is too obsessed to understand she is not the type that is worth keeping, as she keeps degrading him! He hates the fact that people are calling her out for dragging him down, and he wants to correct that narrative but he continues to prove everyone’s point when he is encouraged to do a lot of stupid things. That is why they continually keep trying to revamp their brand because they know it’s not strong enough to convince the shrewd part of society that has made some excellent points. Their whole relationship is a sham.

The pap story was totally debunked, she was one cobblestone street away wearing a beanie with the grin of a cheshire cat, carrying a cloth bag of groceries to the gate, looking around smiling, it was one tourist that got the video and a few pics on her IPHONE and sold them!

I find the "did you maybe hear adults talk like that to each other when you were a child?" Highly strange. I don't know anyone whose first response to a terrible treatment is to a) walk away and b) then IMMEDIATELY in the first sentences of the conversation that follows then tie the incident to the childhood of a 30+ year old, and in a way that creates ambiguity towards responsibility. If she'd have first asked: "do you even respect me?" Or "is that part of the British culture, to treat people like that?" Or whatever, I would understand her questioning then turning to his childhood after. But there's no reason to bring up the childhood so early in the clearing conversation because someone's childhood is no excuse for treating others badly anyway (esp not if you're 30+ and have relationship experience) and also, the first point of discussion for things like this is usually someone's behavior and making peace again (or ending the relationship). Not psychoanalyzing in a way that allows the other person to potentially shift the responsibility.
I'm really wondering if she wanted to use the incident to tell him what a terrible childhood he had and how his family sucked. It just doesn't make sense to me why else she'd have brought his childhood up this early.

KP’s main entrance is across the street from the daily mail offices, which is where she went - when he’d urged her to go through a side entrance. There’s 2 shots of her walking alone, neither of which seem like pap shots or her being hounded.

What I do know is how (my area of the country at least) felt here 'down on the ground' and my experience of it was that people were happy and excited at the thought of Harry and Meghan (getting married). We all looked forward to and welcomed it 🎉🎊 We were genuinely happy until the cracks started to show. And sadly, our perception of them (especially after slating our Royal Family and us, the People) has deteriorated ever since 😕

It's seems pretty clear to me that Harry views Meg as Diana 2.0. At the beginning of the book, his mother was mentioned in every other paragraph. Now that Meg has entered the picture, he hardly mentions her at all except to compare her to Meg. Harry sounds like a dolt. Pap's weren't following Meg around, and few people even knew who she was until the engagement was announced. Had she been hounded by the press, then where are all the pics and stories?

But with William it was far worse than megan , by 2006 she had a journalist hack her phone 155 times , also she used to have press of 15 to 20 outside her door and following her all day long , her trying to get in her car on a bus at work , they were relentless even on London buses one newspaper ran an advert with her picture and the headline waity Katy plastered all over them in London the tube etc , it took a long time but William finally snapped , after that she was still hounded but , bus and tube advert stopped , lots of paps camped outside her flat sort of stopped , although they were still there every day , they didn't get right in her face or block her fro,m going anywhere. Megan had none of this harassment

Meghan is the Queen of Drama Queens. When Harry is not around, she makes up scenarios wherein she is being targeted in order to get him in line. In Canada, I think she was setting him up to think she needed his protection and the way to do that is to make a commitment.

Harry seems fixated on the handful of negative press at the start, but I remember the press before the wedding being overwhelmingly positive and excited. I was thrilled about Meghan initially, it wasn’t until a year after the wedding that I started to see why their behaviour might be a problem and it only continues to get worse

I once had breakfast in a small, British seaside hotel. It was full. A very popular British soap star from a current, long running series came in with (presumably) his wife. I noticed him. You could see that everyone else had too and took covert glances. No one approached him. No one took a photo. I could quote other instances. It's just a British thing

I remember many stories that Meghan gave Harry an ultimatum about going public with their relationship. She wanted that out there, no doubt for her benefit as being in a secret relationship didn’t increase her cache at all. Funny how the story then was magically leaked.

Asking if he heard people talk 'like that' (whatever 'that' was) sounds like a stern Mommy asking her potty-mouth little boy where did hear that word.
