I think If Brentford Fc by surprise beat the Big 6 teams in the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal(away),Leicester City, Chelsea and Totenham hotspur their loyal fans will probably gets weapons of joys(l'armes de joie in french).

I have spent the last 16 years in Asia with 2 years in the middle east teaching and all my students and the people I meet all ask me what team I support as the PL is massive there. For 16 years after telling them Brentford, the response has always been the same: "Huh?"
Now for the first time the only name on anyones lips around the world on Saturday was Brentford. The whole world now knows our name. The amount of history that went down on Friday night was hard to process.

I first saw Brentford play in 1944 when my father took me to a match in the wartime league south. I can't remember the date now, but it was a match against Chelsea. It ended in a 4-4 draw. Brentford goals were scored by Len Townsend and Fred Durrant, 2 each. The next season I was taken to see Aston Villa in the first full season after the war. This was in the first division. I can't remember the result, but Leslie Smith was playing for Villa, having left Brentford the previous season. I have supported the Bees ever since, but have lived in Devon for nearly 30 years now. At 89 years old, I doubt I can get up to see a game, though my son has offered to take me. Very proud of them now.
