- Christian Eriksen scored his first Brentford goal as Thomas Frank's Bees beat Chelsea 4-1 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. Vitaly Janelt scored two with Wissa also on target as we beat Chelsea for the first time since 1939.

If someone told me I would have seen Brentford beat Chelsea 4-1 6 months ago and with Christian Eriksen on the scoresheet they could have ruined me with a bet against it. This is so many miracles in one game. Absolutely stunning!
First fixture, we won 1 nil and I was watching the game thinking how on earth did Brentford not win 4, 5 to 1. Today watching this game I knew chelsea would be beaten. We kept giving the ball away and the defence was in pieces

You lot dominated us from start to finish, and if I'm being completely honest, the final score flattered us dearly as we were absolutely shocking and had to rely on an outrageous effort from Antonio Rudiger to see us get on the scoresheet. I can't hide the fact that I'm disappointed to have seen us lose a West London derby in this fashion, but I have to applaud what Brentford have done, not just in this match but over the course of the season.

I'm a Chelsea fan. I must say there are lot of distractions for our players at the moment. But nothing to take away from Brentford, they played to win and we just couldn't cope. Even when 2 goals up they didn't just sit back and defend.

I wouldn't go that far as to say Chelsea can't play with a back 4. They certainly underperfom last night but that wasn't an issue with the formation. Sadly, the reasons lie outside of the football ground.

As TF said "everything just clicked". This goalfest could have happened several times this season given the chances the Bees gave created. If things had gone slightly differently, it's fair to say this team could be top ten.
