    Absolutely Brilliant Stove. I'll be getting new for sure. This will be great for my bike packing videos that will be coming this spring

    Very nice video on this stove, i have been watching many videos, and it is nice to see how it is meant to be used and set up. I had no idea the wood tray is set up to the highest setting, everyone i seen puts it on the second setting. With it on the highest, it allows more air flow and less problems with ash . Very nicely done. Very nice stove design, love how it all locks into place as well. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks! Actually you can use both settings with wood, it was just coincidence that I used the highest setting.

      You can buy a EDCBox for her, the ladies love the little stoves :-) But I bet she'll like the XL too.

    I've just got this as I'm sick of using trivets on my Trangia. Looking forwards to using it.

      Thanks Shaun! Yes, it is as easy as it looks :-) I think we found a very clever method of locking the parts and making assembly very simple at the same time (credits to Stefan at production for this idea).

    Can you use Trangia GasBurner 74 with this one ??? Would be perfect if it was possible !!

    • @bushcraftessentials
      @bushcraftessentials  Před 2 lety +1

      The Bushbox Ultralight is too small and light for it but the Trangia gas burner can be used with our larger stoves (Bushbox LF and Bushbox XL). LF and XL are also available in lightweight (Titanium) versions

      @@bushcraftessentials , Hi Bushcraft.
      Thank you so much for your reply! I will definitely buy your Bushcraft LF titanium but could I get some advice from you since your know your product the best?
      I went to the nearby store today to try to fiddle in the Trangia GB74 into one of your Bushcraft LF and this was the result, pictures here:
      Pic 1: i.imgur.com/n6VCgem.jpg
      Pic 2: i.imgur.com/4axrs5v.jpg
      As you can see, it's true like you said: the Trangia GB74 definetely fits in term of size inside your Bushcraft LF version.
      This is something groundbreaking in my opinion because now, you can actually inofficially advertise your product to even fit with a gas burner and not only spiritus burner - which is a HUUUUUGGGE upgrade in term of versatile.
      There is only one problem though:
      Even though the Trangia GB74 fits in there, but it does not sit still. It is very lose and I dont see anyways to fasten in - unless you might have to drill a small hole into the grill plate, using a mutter to screw that screw under GB 74 in place - or using a homemade steel wire to fasten the "metal wings" of the gas burner, take the wire and go through one of the holes in your LF stove.
      Do you have any good advice for me to fasten this GB74 burner? any advice would help me alot and I would really appreciate it!
      And are you planning to perhaps selling some extra tool in the future so we can fasten this Trangia gasburner? In term of business, I think this is a huge missed opportunity to not intergate the gas burner into this stove.
      Why?
      Because there is as far as I know NO other stoves on the market that can do all 3 things:
      1) Spirit burner
      2) Gas burner
      3) Wood stove
      You guys could actually the first one in the world doing so I hope you can just make some small modiciation to get this burner inside your stove. You are just so close to that finish line to get this ultimate light weight prepper-stove that fits in every condition.
      This is just a suggestion but please let me know your thoughts and ideas how I can for now by myself integrate this GB into your product. This would save me a lot of weight since Im not keen on bringing both Bushcraft and Trangia 25/27 when hiking. I prefer to just use Bushcraft and additional spiritus/GB. Some people actually just might buy your Bushcraft LF / XL and go with one of those Trangia burners and they dont even have to buy the complete 25/27 sets from Trangia.
      Thank you so much in advance and keep up the good work guys!

      @@StayReal02 You made two mistakes. First of all you must not put the Universal Grate (you called it the grill plate) into the box, otherwise there is no room, as you have already found out yourself. Also you need to use the trivets and put it into the lowest sideways position. Please see these pictures who demonstrate how you can use the gas burner: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ytJ-kbqzS1sgesjkHQp9iqOVL9se9Ewe If you have further questions please contact us by email

      @@bushcraftessentials , Holycow, that was totally GENIUS !! This is a game changer.
      Never thought about to use those trivets this way and you just gave me a big hope now, thank you so much!
      I ordered that Bushcraft LF titanium today with extra universal grate and will try it out myself when it gets home! :)
      I do actually have another question about this topic and product but I think maybe it's better to continue by sending you email if you dont mind. Could you please tell which email I can contact you guys with?
      Much appreciated!

    Wofür ist die mittlere Position gedacht?
    Für Trangia nutzt man die untere Position.
    Als Hobo mit Ascheblech wird die untere und obere Position genutzt.
    Als Hoho ohne Ascheblech nur die untere Position.
    Übersehe ich was oder wofür ist die mittlere Position? 🤔

    • @bushcraftessentials
      @bushcraftessentials  Před 10 měsíci

      Das hängt davon ab, welche Brennstoffe Du verwendest. Der Kocher ist ja nicht nur für Trangia gedacht.

  • @abf91
    @abf91 Před 4 lety

    Schöner Hobo mann könnte das Ascheblech aber dazu liefern für den Preiß das Argument die Kunden achten auf Gewicht halte ich für vorgeschoben (Mann kann ja dann das Blech zuhauselassen wenn im trangiabetrieb!!!)Der Kocher wird als Hobo beworben und wird also unvollständig ausgeliefert Ihr habt tolle Produkte aber das ärgert mich !

    • @bushcraftessentials
      @bushcraftessentials  Před 4 lety +1

      Wir haben den Kocher (den wir übrigens nie als Hobo beworben haben, lediglich im Video kommt der Begriff vor) bewusst ohne Ascheblech, dafür aber günstiger angeboten, weil es unseren Kunden tatsächlich aufs Gewicht ankommt - obwohl 90% aller unserer Kunden ihn mit einem Trangiabrenner verwenden (und dann wesentlich mehr als das gesparte Gewicht in Form von Spiritus mitnehmen). Alle anderen Kocher bieten wir mit Ascheblech an. Jeder kann also selbst entscheiden, ob es ihm auf das letzte Gramm oder auf die Ausstattung ankommt. Preise kalkulieren wir nach Material, Laseraufwand und Handlingkosten, der Kocher ist also durch das fehlende Ascheblech günstiger als mit Ascheblech.

      @@bushcraftessentials Richtig die Bushbox ul. Wird als Mehrstoff Kocher beworben nicht als hobo es wäre also gut alle Komponenten zu liefern um auch alle Funktionen sicher und Bodenschonend einzusetzen ich möchte das als konstruktive Kritik gesehen haben da ich wie gesagt finde das Ihr tolle Produkte habt und denke wenn das Ascheblech noch mit dabei ist wäre es Kundenfreundlicher ansonsten alles gute Grüße!;)!
