The music itself is raw, unforgiving, essential, powerful. But once you pay attention to the lyrics, it’s over. It separates Gojira from others... what some call ‘death metal’ is actually life affirming, inspiring, with incredible depth. This is a band with the courage to be vulnerable.

All of Gojira's tracks are standouts, man. That's the thing that made this band REALLY click for me. I've yet to find a single song from them that I dislike in its entirety. Something will grab you, and it's incredible.
I think the fairest way to do request is to just do mine. That way everyone else is disappointed equally. Isn't that fair. I knew you'd agree..

You guys are from BC, that’s probably why I like your channel so much. I’m from Prince George, so you will understand my experience of seeing that same Metallica tour in Edmonton with the forest fire smoke cloud of death we’ve dealt with the last few summers, but it was still a fucking awesome experience in an open air stadium. The thing that sucked the most is that I’m a huge Gojira fan and was just as excited to see them as Metallica, but traffic is so bad in that area that I had to hear 3 of the 5 songs running because my Uber wasn’t moving and that was the fastest option. The 4th song was in the ticket and security and half of the last song was getting through the sea of people, but I did see the last half of the song you just reacted to, which is better than nothing I guess. This summer I’m seeing them with Slipknot in Toronto, and I will camp out if I have to, because I can’t miss it again. I’ll stop rambling, but I love what you guys are doing and look forward to more of your reactions🤘🏻

The late Vinnie Paul was the drummer of Hellyeah after his brother, 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott was gunned down on stage on December 8, 2004 in Columbus, Ohio, while they were both playing in the band, 'Damageplan.' Dimebag and Vinnie were, of course the incredible guitarist and drummer of the band 'Pantera.' Zakk Wylde also has an inspirational tribute, 'Black Label Society' - In This River. Both songs have official videos.

Gojira are an amazing band you either love them or its totally not for you theres not really anything in the middle. Ive been a metal fan for over 20 years and Gojira is on the top of my list to see live. They sound amazing live. 🤘

How can you find a band this heavy, with lyrics this amazing, and not explore all their work? This is a real and serious question.
The First Time I heard of this Band was Last Year They play in This Huge Metal Festival on May 4th and 5th in Mexico City Called The Corona Hell and Heaven Festival they were a shit load of metal bands like Ozzy Osbourn, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Deep Purple, The Scorpions, Gojira, Marilyn Manson, and The Warning and a bunch of other bands
Hahaha... THANK YOU, Kel-in-Rich for the Birthday love! I'm sorry for the delayed response; it has been nonstop since my Birthday, but I saw it LATE that night (the 30th). The Beaker was definitely in full effect. Also, the metaphor about a barrage of paintballs was well played, Rich. I LOVE Gojira - not just because I love the drums - but because they bring intelligence, intensity, sophistication, technicality, and depth to a genre of music that rarely sees those elements in one band (let alone a band in their genre). That song, specifically, does something to me as far as getting me going; I'm pretty sure it makes me speed while I'm driving. The whole album - From Mars to Sirius - is a concept album about the duality of Mars (War) and Sirius (Peace), which is a Ying and Yang in all of us. The singer and the drummer are brothers (Joe Duplantier and Mario Duplantier, respectively). Mario is one seriously intense drummer. Thank you, again! You made my night! JIMBO

If you check out another tune by Gojira, I would highly recommend "The Gift of Guilt" live at Brixton Academy. That song and that performance made me fall in live with this band.

Its the first song from Dvne's album Asheran (Songs of Arrakis). The whole album is a trip and a half.
I missed Gojira’s set at the rose bowl. I was tailgating with my son and Neice just outside the stadium. We made our way in for avenged seven fold. Next time I get the opportunity to attend a concert with Gojira on the bill I will definitely make sure to see them up front and center. Killer track 🤘🏽

@@iamtheking9418 definitely! That's how I was introduced to flaw as well. Only the strong on the scorpion king soundtrack. I listened to it like 20 times in a row. Through the eyes is a fucking awesome album. E.s. is too.they had more of a polished sound on e.s.
