And as for The Heaviest Matter in the Universe, it is a testament to the band members, and Joe Duplantier, that they are completely vulnerable and courageous in their songwriting. I’ve said it on some other reaction channels, but my favorite part of this song is that he astral projects, and finds that the heaviest matter in the universe is the light of love. Like what the fuck? Nobody plays music like this with such brilliant, passionate lyrics.
I absolutely loved your reaction to Art of Dying. Loved it. This was the song that sucked me in to Gojira in the first place. They are true artists, but they paint in extremely heavy textures. Thank you for checking this out.. it is a joy to see an authentic breakdown.

This was very wholesome and the fact that you called out general abstract concepts before the song put them on your lap genuinely put a smile on my face. Also black people invented what would be the metal of today, so it’s deep down in there. The groove, the rhythm, and the absolute jam that is not just this band but metal as a whole. Love it all and so do you. Great to see someone truly appreciate and understand the sheer effort in the work that these guys put out without having to look anything up or do any research. The respect that they received over the years is very well deserved. Thank you for such a great video!
