    Airport was there before the homes. Take it up with the developer.

    This is report doesn't surprise me in the least. I lived in Carlsbad years ago when it was an easy going beach town 1980s (before councilman then mayor Claude "Bud" Lewis took C'bad in a different direction 😔). I believe there's a core of $elf-$erving NIMBYs and whiny, non-native malcontents (out of state folks of mean$) who want to control things there. I call them the gentrification crowd. They purchase homes in certain areas (like around the already established airport then complain about the noise and traffic!). Also not surprised that some of them are indeed Krazy (do you live here?) Karen's!
