This album holds such a special place in my heart. 🖤 When I was in high school I heard the song Sumerian Daemon for the first time and I fell in love! Please listen to that song too! As well as Unbeliever, Magic Loves Infinity, Dark River, and Infernal Sun!🤘🏼

Excellent as usual with these guys. Love the haunting and kinda ancient vibe of it, wich reminds me of a song by Rotting Christ called "Ahura Mazda Azra Mainiuu", think you'd like that one too. (I may or may not have discovered that song through Diana Bastet the metal bellydancer... 😜)

I dig some songs on this album, but I grew up on Ophidian Wheel, Esoptron, Mystic Places of Dawn, and their song on the Hammer Hallowcost II compilation Woman of the Rings. For me, these are Septic Flesh's definitive era.
Maybe I'm just an old dog who can't learn new tricks, but I couldn't get into their new stuff. Same thing with Rotting Christ and many others.

SF is my favorite band. I actually don't like pretty much any of their stuff before Communion. This song is one of the only ones that I like from their early era. Communion is when they reformed, started recording with the Prague Symphony and Christos has earned a Master's degree in Symphonic Composition.
Ya so far Ive really enjoyed this album, but ya Communion is amazing
