Highlight of the performance for me. When he yells Prometheus is so intense. I've paused this in mid-scream at different points and it's visual gold.
DUDE YES! The passion and energy was unreal! This band continues to melt my brain!
And dont forget that he doesnt use special effects for his voice. He can make his voice sounds like that !!!!
This band always NAILS!!! The 1st time I watched this I literally cried when the choir started singing. This entire concert is SUPERB ❤

Even the introduction before the music in the full concert gets you insanely excited for what is about to happen.
They really do nail epic music for the Greek Gods to go to war against the demons of the netherworld.

I love it when there is a live symphonic orchestra behind a metal band! It makes it just that more epic. Dimmu Borgir, Skálmöld, Within Temptation, and others do this. I've always wondered, though, what the classical musicians are thinking when they perform for gigs like this, when they are more used to performing pieces such as Brahms’s Symphony No. 1.

If you can’t get enough of speticflesh, you may listen to odious, skin age album which orchestral parts were composed by the septicflesh guys. Try “A picture of dead art ». And from Greece too, there is The Elysian fields, from who you may listen to chaoskrator for example.

Yep i discovered them thanks to this channel. Absolutely love them. It's like they took symphonic metal wich i already had a softspot for and made it 10 times more badass. Such a perfect combination of the symphonic beauty and epicness, and utterly crushing brutality.

I discovered Septicflesh right here with you on this channel and I am loving them. This live show is amazing! I don't buy CD's often anymore but I immediately ordered one of theirs after I think the second reaction you did to them. My car has a CD player and it usually has Heilung, Nightwish, or Dead Can Dance in, but now Septicflesh is in the mix. (Yes it's odd to many to listen to Heilung or DCD while driving but it helps with anxiety. Even friends I know who like those bands think I'm weird to listen to them in the car. I don't know - I love it and it keeps me calm. Somehow, I drive better half in a trance than just normal. Maybe it's my super power?)

I have Modern Primitive. I was actually thinking of getting Codex Omega next. Might get a couple of them actually - I don't think I'm going to be unhappy with any of them.

Bruh, corporate america is a soul sucker. I'm just a number or I get fired. No raise, but I do get overtime which im thankful for. But it cuts into seeing my kids, and that does not make me happy.
I've been listening to Septicflesh on spotify recently - they are really good and i love the blend of choir and orchestra and everything just works with their music - my favorite song of theirs is A Desert Throne
GOSH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! I love to talk about them lol I didn't find them till this year and it was a song of their latest album. Since then, I have listened to about 5 of their albums and I gotta say Communion and Codex Omega are my favs. But for real, almost every song is perfect. You said it best, their blend of choir/orchestra/and death metal is just superb. Desert Throne and Psychohistory are some of my favs off the new album.

Great reaction, I didn’t know this concert existed but I’ve always loved this song, gave me goosebumps. So cool when these black metal bands do a full live orchestra/choir. Have you seen Dimmu’s? If not I recommend Progenies of the great apocalypse with the Oslo orchestra

Fleshgod Apocalypse are excellent symphonic metal company to go with Septic Flesh.
While these guys have the theme of the sagas of the ancient Greeks, Fleshgod Apocalypse are firmly set in the classical Italian era, but with zombies.
