Some brands you can see from the back if you take off the watch. When you can see the gears while wearing the watch it’s called a skeleton dial I believe. Rolex makes good watches but are far from being the best. To my knowledge, they don’t have an in house tourbillon, perpetual calendar, or a guilloche dial done by hand. If you ask a random person on the street what a Rolex is they’d likely be able to tell you it's a watch but probably not so much for other brands.

This is the second watch repair channel I've seen, and one thing stood out to me from both. Why use finger condoms instead of full gloves? I guess most other places where you see gloves, like food preparation or medical practice, do need full coverage of the hand, whereas watchmaking doesn't, so are the condoms just more comfortable/convenient?
Perhaps less sweat is what im guessing, like when i draw on tablet i have this 2 finger glove to only prevent skin/sweat touching the screen too while thumb index n mid finger are exposed still
another reason could be that when you wear a full glove, there may be some space/air in the very end of the finger tips. So if you just wear the condoms on your fingers it will fit tightly around the tip of your fingers without the air and space.
