I didn't play the game but I think they have (with Marlene and Raley) a closer relationship in the game because Raley said "You know how Marlene is? She implies they know her from before. But in TV Ellie asks "Who is Marlene?" In fact in the Firefly building, Ellie didn't meet Marlene immediately either. For what I have seen , they (especially Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman agreed because aaah! what parenthood can do), made changes, but you''ll be pleased.
I haven't played the game and don't intend to. That said I really enjoy the series and the casting is terrific. Bella and Pedro's chemistry is on point.
