Now I'm getting words that say service. How do I clear that?

If it says SERVICE on the screen then their is an error that actually needs to be addressed and cleared. Probably something maybe like a sensor or something trivial that’s why even if you clear it, it’ll pop right back up. Unfortunately it’ll probably have to be taken to the shop for that one. Could be serious or could and mostly likely just a sensor but they’ll have to check and clear it. Not just a regular service warning. When it says SERVICE it will have to go to the shop.

What happens if you press update

Nothing. You won’t be able to do anything really. For anything to update really only the dealer can do that unless you have special plugs and the computer program and the update to do it if you have the updates from Aprilia as well which usually only licensed dealers would have access too.

If it didn’t work than you are due for more than a first service or their is something that truly needs checked and resolved.
