I mean is normal he is his last original follower, to be honest after Yukito died in the water his father and the other probably lost faith because he was supposed to be saved and now that it's been so long Yukito is the only original Mirama follower that still exist, all the others are just following Mitama because Yukito persuaded them (and even with that they switch they faith pretty easy)

Ok let's be honest. No one has expected anything from this anime but after a time of watching I could definitely say that this anime is way too good. One of the best I've recently watched. And I can't wait to see what would happen. I was really impressed by this

She probably doesn't even have followers by proxy because intent matters when it comes to followers. Followers of Dakini follow the human Dakini specifically.
Dakini is/aren't even a god. It's just a position women could've held in Buddhism. So yes, she would have nearly no followers.

@@FishyMango Dakini is an actual goddess in Hinduism and Buddhism. There is multiple versions of Dakini depending on how far back and sects. So, no, it wasn't just some position a woman took up.

Still don't get why Mitama goes out of her way just for Yukito, when all he does is use and abuse her lol. Literally sacrificed all her followers count just to go to a era where nobody believed in gods on Earth, just to fulfill Yukito's wish. 🤣 Pretty crazy stuff lol.
In ancient religions and mythologies Gods always had their favourites. Very similar to the way fathers and mothers have favorite children.

My head cannon is that the ritual Yukito was forced to take part in is what gave birth to Mitama, so he's the reason she exists.
@dhump132 except Mitama said she's a primordial god that existed since the beginning of the universe and she said she's always been watching over him. But yeah I wish they had a better explanation other than for the lols.
I see it as her loving him for being him, even if he doesn’t have faith in her and uses her for his convenience she loves the kind of person he is either way, he’s literally a “chosen one beloved by god”

Gods in this multiverse clearly extend beyond the world they’re currently in, especially if they’re more powerful, more likely. Dakini likely has countless more followers across other worlds.
