Woah dude, you're really peaking this league after past league where you did glass canon full-unique build one after the other :o. I also like cloak of flames in general. Even if I don't use the additional ignite duration, 40% phys as fire taken is awesome, but I guess it offers low base defences for late game. And that's where the 3 options you showed shine. Thanks for the video!
Yeah shifting damage with Cloak of Flame is also quite nice since it doesn't have any decreases in resistances the same way that Lightning Coil does. One of the reasons I didn't want to use Lightning Coil was because of how tight my resistances were.
I love Doppelganger Guise + Divine Flesh. If you hunt around for Vanities, you can usually find one in the socket you want that has a couple Cult of Chaos on easy-to-reach notable nodes (ideally on clusters with Masteries you want) to further increase your max chaos res and help cap chaos res.
With 85% chaos res and this setup, Uber Sirus particularly becomes a lot more manageable of a fight. Both the 40% less Phys and Chaos damage taken and the 50% of ele taken as chaos do not specify "from hits", and so all of that mitigates damage over time from the deatomization storms and the ground degen spots.
Oh yeah I never thought about the max res notables. I've only searched for vanities that gave aura effect notables within the passives that I've allocated. But adding in the max res notables should make for some pretty nice defenses :)

It's still possible, but I can't say if the version I shared in that video is still good (since I haven't tested it this league). I did find a Week 1 build that someone else made on PoE Ninja that's quite close to what I had back then if you want to take a look at it. Yup pretty useful for improving EHP and recovery
One thing I prefer about cloak of flame besides the ignite mod, it takes bleed and phys degen as fire for its conversion value
Oh damn, I didn't even notice that it also applied to damage over time. I knew Lightning Coil applied only to hits and always assumed Cloak of Flame was the same. Cheers

Well, i prefer Doppel over Cloak because it also specify no "Hit" part in it and works great against Phys dot and Chaos dot + 10% regen if you were hit is insane (Insane, KEK).
divine flesh with doppel isn't something i thought of, that's pretty clever imma be using that for my berserker

Another option to consider - +1 Spectres - unfractured unless you're already filthy rich. Buy one without any other prefixes, or ones you can live with (ie, no Life for the +15% mastery), and enchant it with phys taken as fire + phys taken as lightning. Use eldritch currency or prefixes can't be changed to finish suffixes.
Currently using Perfect Warlord, Naval Officer, Hulking Miscreation, Spirit of Fortune, Primal Thunderbird. Get several very, very high-level defensive auras, Endurance charges, 10 Fort, etc :)
yeah I was rolling with the Perfect Warlord for quite awhile to sustain max endurance charges. Definitely some good defensive spectres out there now.
My favourite type of deafence is still CI shinanigans
I've been curious about CI builds. What mechanics usually synergize well with CI?

There are full deranged builds wich convert all damage to elemental use transcendence and CI but im not well versed with those ( i would like to set up one of those one day)
