Yeah, when you're a noob you see a build, think it looks cool and someone says it can be had for 5D (excitement stage) you think you can just go to trade, copy the items and it'll all be there for you. Then trade is more expensive or no-one has those exact items (disappointment stage) and you can't find alternatives because you don't really know what mods are important for the build. Then you conclude the streamer is full of shit (anger stage). I know because I used to be that very same idiot.
@@borahsilver478 This is super true and something I'm only now understanding in my 3rd Season. I went back to a Boneshatter build and revisiting this guide. But all my gear is pretty good. Stuff that easily sells for maybe 2-4 div each, but I crafted all of it for maybe a total of 2 divine. In my first season I was absolutely that guy that was so mad bc all the gear I needed to "trade" for was so expensive and not that good. Crafting/Rog, there is so much to know that very few creators kind of remember that that knowledge is foreign to most of the people watching their stuff. I like Subtractem though for that reason. He is pretty good about being informative and relevant to the different levels of experienced players watching.
Crafting in PoE is like walking into the workshop of a master in woodworking, stone masonry, sculptor, etc. There are 100s if not over 1000 tools all organized in just the way they liked it. Somethings look familiar but a lot of it is so specific to the trade that it's use as a layman is completely obscured to you. And then you are given the task of doing that job with those tools with only bits of operation manuels.
this is the exact same way i craft high dps bows, get a fracture t2~ mod (t1 is pretty expensive usually) then you essence for the 2nd guaranteed mod, spam until you hit the 3rd mod and now you have easily 1k+ dps ele bow without barely spending any chaos what so ever
Your effort is commendable, trying to teach people how to flourish in the game should be celebrated but instead some people just can't see past their own ego and choose ignorance, be it online and most likely in their everyday life. What I see is you've unlocked the infinite content glitch. Keep up the good work man! You've helped me enjoy the game immensely to the point where I have several multi-mirror builds every single league due to the simple fact I can listen and absorb information, thank you!
It's always frustrating when people refuse to take what you're saying in good faith, but I'm sure the crafting guidance will help some folks so it's nice to see something positive come out of it.

I think it stems from some things like his Bane build, I know there was a lot of dramas around it and then they latch onto it forever. Personally I enjoy the content and the builds
@@unixtreme Nothing just people that didn't know how to play, not playing the game properly dying on his bane build because it was squishy. Was with the introduction of arch nemesis mobs so, yeah was a bit of a struggle. But with some investment it overcame it, but people were just upset with him immediately off the rip cos it wasn't as tanky as they'd like (arch nemesis fault) or as high dps (arch nemesis).
Your guides like this are my favorite, friend and I forced ourselves into SSF a few leagues ago and were destroyed. After watching your stuff I think we now have a solid chance, we haven't bought crafted boots in 6 leagues and plan to give SSF a try again in the next couple, thanks!

Fantastic video. One of the best crafting videos I've ever seen. The walkthrough of your natural process for crafting, the explanation, and the fact that you didn't have budget of a billion divines came together to actually make me want to get into crafting again (after not having crafted anything meaningful since 3.3)
I wish there were more videos going step by step through the process "naturally". This is my first league and understanding crafting 'by example' would be so beneficial. for a beginner this was helpful but still a little bit tough to fully understand for someone new to the game.
New player to the game. Wishing you could do a skill spec breakdown series for different classes. For example, best skills to use for damage or crucial survivability skills or even recommend Ascendency skills to select. I know there is build guides out there, but let's be honest most are for seasoned players.
lets make an assumption that buying a good fractured base would be too expensive on league start and we look for a despot axe "off the floor" to craft a weapon like yours, what ilvl does it have to be? the way to go would be: take a despot axe hit it with the quality fossil hit it with deafening essence of contempt until we hit a t5 hybrid phys roll or higher multimod it for 2 divine (needs an open suffix) craft attackspeed(suffix) + %phys dmg(prefix) on it, right? We need an open prefix and a suffix right? Before we have to "prefix cant be modified" + scour to get rid of all suffixes and then multimod it? Crafting in poe for new players is insane ^^
I dont want to bash on this video, all the info on how to approach the craft and the concept of the original video are accurate and offer great help to anyone seeking to get into this build. But, most players play the game during league start. The prices for essenses are normally much higher, the fracture items are also priced much higher and you'd only get these kinda prices once things settle down a bit. If you are a new player or getting into this build, know that you wont get your hands on one of these (crafted or not) until much further in the league (i'd say week 2 or 3 for the average player). Just my 2 cents, played boneshatter anyway imaginable and have cleared all content on it.
Started this league and for sure the one thing I didn't learn much yet is crafting and I probably paid for a lot of overpriced stuff on trade. Figured I'd try to learn a bit before next league and stumbled on your channel, haven't watched the crafting videos you have yet but if you feel like it needs an update it would be really appreciated by new players like me. If it's early on the league. Basically, a League starter. Divines, Items, Essences are pretty rare and a bit expensive. But, Yeah. Boneshatter is pretty newbie friendly and YES. 2nd to Righteous Fire as Best League starter. Very very easy to use. (I've run both, they are awesome!)
thanks for also including SSF options even if its obvious to most. would the benchcraft that gives 95-105 phys damage but also the 18-20% chance to impale be a better option? i guess only if you're looking to reach 100% impale?
As I was getting a bit impatient waiting for the next PoE league I made a boneshatter character in SSF to see what the hype was about a few days before you made your video on it so it's been fun watching you basically doing the same thing as me. I am very pleasantly surprised by it so far. Since it's in SSF my gear is of course not amazing. My weapon is quite underwhelming but it's still absolutely blasting T16's. I've also done all the pinnacle bosses on it and while it's certainly not a great bosser, it could be worse honestly. Just because of how tanky it is the fights where still fairly comfy. I could very much see myself using this for leaguestart. It just gets going so incredibly fast.
Well I just learned that movementspeed is 100% guaranteed from a vieled chaos orb on boots with suf can't be changed...Its so obvious yet there is so damn much to this game, things sneak by me all the time. I've been playing for YEARS, crafting for YEARS, and I just never knew this. So weird. Thanks! Hope i can retain the information for next league lol.

any advice on crafting an axe for cyclone of tumult do the same principles apply? I need a new axe and I don't have enough currency for it
yeah I just checked the offline listings for 3 months ago (all the listings I checked were from like 9 days into the league ish) and it looks like you could get an ilvl 83+ despot with fractured t1 increased attack speed for like 3-4 divines, I must've overlooked attack speed when trying to find a base because I also wanted dd while focused on my axe. I think I just mistook your video for a guide even though you said it wasn't one, and wanted to let people know that in my experience this league trying to find a fractured base with % inc phys damage or hybrid phys in the first week of the league was harder than I expected it to be, usually when one was posted someone had already crafted on it somewhat and was trying to sell it for like 10+ divines
Also like I said in my comment you can use a much worse axe and still be fine for 16 mapping, you can even use a Sinvicta's Mettle if you're on a super budget and be able to kill your pinnacle bosses, it'll just take a while
You did a big mistake. You looked at a quite common search with offline. Most of them are just not apllicable, i saw stuff like lv 4 empower for 30c on there. People quite early and put them for lols while not selling them, or they put it on a diffrent time when prices were diffrent. Yes early in the league a lot of high demand stuff has insane prices, also a lot of stuff you can get for way cheaper. It doesnt really matter latw on the league thou
Thank you for this, I'm a crucible league nooby and have been having fun with Boneshatter (because I like to bonk) but struggling with the crafting / itemization. One follow up I'm sure very nooby question to this, now you've go the item, how do you link it up? Slamming with jewelers to get 6 sockets is easy enough, do you just do the same with fusing's until it 6 links?
Yeah, you can craft it straight on for 1500? fusings but I'm not sure I've ever had to spam more than 5-600 on an item before? Also there's a minimum item level for 6 links iirc.
@@Tuloththere isnt a good way to target farm fusings really, your best go is to just buy the fusings from someone the price is around 1200 fusings for 1 divine its definitely worth to 6link your weapon and farm the currency back later

Does anyone actually ever use trade prices for gear when giving an estimate on build set-up cost? Apart from rare uniques etc. that is? Genuine question btw, I had always assumed not and would like to know if I'm making a mistake. Also... Subs vid from maybe 2 years ago 'How to craft everything' was absolutely pivotal for me. As a new player I felt like I was doing a jigsaw with my eyes closed before that, like I had started getting some of the edge pieces together but... Cheers for that Dude *8 )
So...buy t4 fracture, hit it with an essence of contempt until the prefix opens, scour suffixes -> multimod + phys craft + attack speed? Yep, that sounds pretty much in the 5 div range, give or take, depending on the price of the fracture.

I was flipping axes at the beggining of the league. I was hitting 1000+ pdps axes all day with crucible trees for way less then 5 divines. People that are bitching about the price either don’t know how to craft or don’t know how to look for a deal. The amount of axes that need 1 crafted mod to be crazy that go for pennys on the dollar is insane.
100%! It's INCREDIBLY easy to hit 800pdps even on a non-fracture and with a little effort you can hit 1000+ and sell for insane profit because everyone.

i made the mistake once in an aero video where i told him his pricing is bs because the items have always been more expensive i learned alot of crafting since because i felt bad makeing him feel bad when its been just lacking knowledge in my part since that time i never coment on pricing
It's not an expensive craft, but you probably should've mentioned that you could have gotten a t1 hybrid mod you wanted, but prefix filled with another useless mod, so you'd need to annul the right mod to not brick the item. Lucky for you, that didn't happen, you got a nice open prefix to finish, but it's not guaranteed.
So I hit T3 Hybrid and the damn thing is going low as 40div for an iLvl 85! I paid at most 4 div to hit it LOL! Thanks Sub, I could make some profit this way haha
Thx for great and simple tutorial. Do item level matters? I just bought 30 quality, 24 (fractured) increased attack speed despot axe. Then I realised that item level is 72. Will I be able to craft it like You did?
A 900 dps axe is generally lot more expensive than 10D. The chances of you getting the Ailsing slam is very low. Then you have to start all over again. It's only 10 Divine if you get ultra lucky on your first roll. In fact, after spending hours in Craft of Exile I have yet to make 900 dps axe. I've made an 850dps ax on craft of exile, but still that would have cost more like 30D just to make. The base alone will be 5- 10 Divine (Fractured damage T1 or T2). An axe worse than your is up for 70 D on trade. Now I'm glad to see someone posting some stuff on how to craft some of this stuff. But doing it the way cArn says in his guide is WAY more expensive. But you have to have open Prefix to craft your ax. Essence of contempt at the start of a league is way more than 6c. I spent over 3D on essences alone, and then the Aisling slam failed. I was stuck with 3 prefixes so bricked item and had to scour. This is straight out of cArns notes for his Bonezone guide. - Here's the process to craft the ENDGAME axe from the pob : 1- Spam Essences of Contempts (Defeaning ideally) until you hit a decent hybrid %phys roll, tier 4 roll is good enough for a first endgame axe, with an open prefix (attempt to annul if it isn't) 2- Craft Prefixes cannot be changed 3- Aisling slam 4- If it hits a Prefix and you unveil %phys proceed to the next step, if not restart 5a - Prefixes cannot be changed ---> scour ---> Multimod Attack speed + Double Damage while Focussed 5b- Prefixes cannot be changed ---> Reforge speed, if it hits T3+ speed, Craft DD focus and Warlord Exalt. If not, repeat ^xE05030
Can you elaborate on the fast af comment? Crucible is my first league and I was watching some of their videos. They seem harder to build than what's implied. Is that the issue?
As far i know, "fast af" was an cover front for an real money transaction side(like some other channels, too!). If it is still one don't know, but some really shady stuff happend there. Would watch them with caution. Most of their builds variants are the ultima of what a player can do with no constraints.

you can literally get all 4 voidstones on this build with a 3 mod axe, including crafted attack speed 💀if anything you were underselling how not gear dependent the build is
I'd test it out first for yourself. It's so mechanically clunky (to me) that I honestly would never consider the skill, even if it did a lot of damage.
I think it’s like a 1/200 chance to hit hybrid phys t3 with essence slam. Not to mention it’s way less than that to hit it with available prefix or suffix to work with. To buy 200+ essences idt you’re gonna get them at 6c each unless you want to do 10-20+ different trades waiting for someone to accept you, you’re probably paying at least 15c nowadays and I don’t remember it being much better back then. I kinda feel like this video is baiting people cause I still see this get thrown around on reddit sometimes. You know if you need to buy 200 essences it’s not gonna be 6c per. Even when this video was made at assuming 6c ea per essence (not realistic) and 2d for a base (similar price now), and landing a workable t3 hybrid phys first time you see it (not realistic) this craft costs like 12d. If you look at what it would take on average and not all best case scenarios it’s like 15d. It’s much easier to just buy an axe with 850dps for 5-10d from someone who bricked their attempt at a better axe on trade. You can find them with 850dps and 2 useless sufffixes pretty easily on trade for less than the cost of going at this yourself. Crafting phys melee axes is a game for someone with 100d+ ready to spend because hitting all t1 phys + AS + whatever you want is going to sell for like 250d.
It is really astonishing how long some players are in POE and still have no knowledge about it. Crucible was my first league after ritual and I clock just 800 hours in the game, but attack speed gloves with Aspect of the cat made me so rich it isn't funny anymore and the craft is so basic.
How would you make those? Never touched any of the aspects and am just curious - if you don't wanna give away your money, feel free to tell me that instead
Roll with essence of the zeal for attack speed on fractured evasion gloves (resistance), the last suffix must be free. Try to roll life T1/T2 prefix, the other both suffixes are anyway fixed because of fracture and essence. Then you'll go to the menagerie and use aspect of the cat, kill the tiger and the suffix is guaranteed without rerolling the item. Slap on Eldritch mods and cash in your 10 divine easily each gloves you make
Where there really that many haters? I only saw the CZcams video and saw like 2 guys saying "true budget is a 10 chaos build", like this is 2019 and they have no Idea of the current state of farming.
yeah the prices right now at the end of the league are insane and it fools people that don't know better into thinking they're worth that much...and then i get a dozen angry comments from them calling me a liar, it's a huge yikes for everyone.
Content creators are facing the reality that Fyre (whether deserved or not) put an air of distrust over these things and there is always one nutjob looking to start the next outrage storm.
So I just tired this, exactly as listed. I ended up with a 790 pDPS (I have no idea what pDPS means), and it cost me start to finish about 6.9D, and I still would consider this a low ball. I got lucky and got a T7 damage / accuracy after 30 essence of contempt. That's pretty crap, but it's the first one I got and I was down to only having 1 essence left so I went with it. With a big worse luck I could easily see it costing 10D. I did not 6 link it. I got it to 5 link, 6 link is still going to cost another 2.3 more Divine (I've gambled about 3k fusing so far, no 6 link this league). So easily 10D for a 6 link.
Check my pinned comment. Expected number of essences for a tier 5 hybrid on an attack speed fracture is about 30 so yeah, you just got VERY unlucky. It happens but is way out of the expected result.
When I tested it in the emulator it took 82 essences to hit T5. So that's why I took the T7 at 30. My cost Base 27% attack speed fracture with 6 sockets - 4 divine + 1 regal to make it rare. 54c - fossil 100c- resonators 199c - essences 60c- exults 114c- fusings (to 5 linked)
@@subtractem BTW thx still I did learn something. Even though I think 5D is very optimistic, the video did teach me something. You don't necessarily need an Aisling slam. My goodness can that be so expensive.
and if you socket your attack into disfavour you get sth like 10% more dps with the 35% quality on support gems. getting better axe would be really really more expensive
the one thing to note is we are in a practically dead league right now. at league start you are not getting a base for 3d. but, as you said, league start is gonna be essences then multimod.

Im sorry, but a t2 % phys on a league start, on top of the despot base its soooo expensive at league start, you for sure pay much more then 6 div just in the base. besides that, okay for the crafting process
I play on a Mac laptop, and it isn't ideal. I must use an old barely functional PC to utilize POB and any other 3rd party application. Juggling laptops feels terrible. There is no copy-paste from the game to POB, so everything I do takes days to enter into POB manually. This literally has me burned out on the game. I have however gotten one voidstone by defeating Exarch in SSF. I'm now hard-stuck because I do not know how to min Max using POB. So long story long I'm only playing enough to get the free stuff and then waiting for the new season.
there is copy/paste for pob. you can copy an item you see in game by just hovering over the item and hitting ctrl+c and then ctrl+v in pob where items are. you can also copy items directly from the poe trade website, using the little plus icon to the left of a listed item and then pasting into the item section of pob. not sure if you were still confused by this, but i use this every single day and so wanted to clarify.
Sucks man I love Diablo 4 but going back to PoE you just have so many more options and depth. Wish Diablo 4 had a bit more, I think it’s a little too basic even for casuals
yeah cause all of use be getting 5 divie drops a day 100 of correct essence and hitting t1 mods from essences in like 50 trys, more like 3 weeks 0 divines all the wrong essences 1000s of essences with 0 t1 mods XD

With fractured attack speed it is easier: from 172 tries to 162. With fractured hybrid it becomes 1 in 31 for T2 attack speed.

I dont want to bash on this video, all the info on how to approach the craft and the concept of the original video are accurate and offer great help to anyone seeking to get into this build. But, most players play the game during league start. The prices for essenses are normally much higher, the fracture items are also priced much higher and you'd only get these kinda prices once things settle down a bit. If you are a new player or getting into this build, know that you wont get your hands on one of these (crafted or not) until much further in the league (i'd say week 2 or 3 for the average player). Just my 2 cents, played boneshatter anyway imaginable and have cleared all content on it.

You can also buy a %20 attack speed base weapon instead of multimoding.
If it's early on the league. Basically, a League starter. Divines, Items, Essences are pretty rare and a bit expensive. But, Yeah. Boneshatter is pretty newbie friendly and YES. 2nd to Righteous Fire as Best League starter. Very very easy to use. (I've run both, they are awesome!)
Any reason not to get a T1 fractured +flat physical Despot Axe and spam essences of zeal on it?

I came to learn how to craft a mid-end game bone shatter axe i want to practice for 3.22
I paid 5 divines early in the league for my boneshatter axe and it took me all the way to end game, so I don't think 5 divines is too far off.

As I was getting a bit impatient waiting for the next PoE league I made a boneshatter character in SSF to see what the hype was about a few days before you made your video on it so it's been fun watching you basically doing the same thing as me.
I am very pleasantly surprised by it so far. Since it's in SSF my gear is of course not amazing. My weapon is quite underwhelming but it's still absolutely blasting T16's. I've also done all the pinnacle bosses on it and while it's certainly not a great bosser, it could be worse honestly. Just because of how tanky it is the fights where still fairly comfy. I could very much see myself using this for leaguestart. It just gets going so incredibly fast.
Well I just learned that movementspeed is 100% guaranteed from a vieled chaos orb on boots with suf can't be changed...Its so obvious yet there is so damn much to this game, things sneak by me all the time. I've been playing for YEARS, crafting for YEARS, and I just never knew this. So weird. Thanks! Hope i can retain the information for next league lol.

yeah I just checked the offline listings for 3 months ago (all the listings I checked were from like 9 days into the league ish) and it looks like you could get an ilvl 83+ despot with fractured t1 increased attack speed for like 3-4 divines, I must've overlooked attack speed when trying to find a base because I also wanted dd while focused on my axe. I think I just mistook your video for a guide even though you said it wasn't one, and wanted to let people know that in my experience this league trying to find a fractured base with % inc phys damage or hybrid phys in the first week of the league was harder than I expected it to be, usually when one was posted someone had already crafted on it somewhat and was trying to sell it for like 10+ divines
Also like I said in my comment you can use a much worse axe and still be fine for 16 mapping, you can even use a Sinvicta's Mettle if you're on a super budget and be able to kill your pinnacle bosses, it'll just take a while
You did a big mistake. You looked at a quite common search with offline. Most of them are just not apllicable, i saw stuff like lv 4 empower for 30c on there. People quite early and put them for lols while not selling them, or they put it on a diffrent time when prices were diffrent. Yes early in the league a lot of high demand stuff has insane prices, also a lot of stuff you can get for way cheaper. It doesnt really matter latw on the league thou

It's a craft that allows you to have two crafts at once on an item, it costs two divines.
Thank you for this, I'm a crucible league nooby and have been having fun with Boneshatter (because I like to bonk) but struggling with the crafting / itemization. One follow up I'm sure very nooby question to this, now you've go the item, how do you link it up? Slamming with jewelers to get 6 sockets is easy enough, do you just do the same with fusing's until it 6 links?
Yeah, you can craft it straight on for 1500? fusings but I'm not sure I've ever had to spam more than 5-600 on an item before? Also there's a minimum item level for 6 links iirc.

the price is around 1200 fusings for 1 divine
its definitely worth to 6link your weapon and farm the currency back later

Does anyone actually ever use trade prices for gear when giving an estimate on build set-up cost? Apart from rare uniques etc. that is? Genuine question btw, I had always assumed not and would like to know if I'm making a mistake.

So...buy t4 fracture, hit it with an essence of contempt until the prefix opens, scour suffixes -> multimod + phys craft + attack speed? Yep, that sounds pretty much in the 5 div range, give or take, depending on the price of the fracture.

I was flipping axes at the beggining of the league. I was hitting 1000+ pdps axes all day with crucible trees for way less then 5 divines.
People that are bitching about the price either don’t know how to craft or don’t know how to look for a deal. The amount of axes that need 1 crafted mod to be crazy that go for pennys on the dollar is insane.
100%! It's INCREDIBLY easy to hit 800pdps even on a non-fracture and with a little effort you can hit 1000+ and sell for insane profit because everyone.

It's not an expensive craft, but you probably should've mentioned that you could have gotten a t1 hybrid mod you wanted, but prefix filled with another useless mod, so you'd need to annul the right mod to not brick the item. Lucky for you, that didn't happen, you got a nice open prefix to finish, but it's not guaranteed.

I only fossil crafted the quality with a perfect fossil. It's independent of regular crafting.

Thx for great and simple tutorial. Do item level matters? I just bought 30 quality, 24 (fractured) increased attack speed despot axe. Then I realised that item level is 72. Will I be able to craft it like You did?
Item level does matter, if you check on craftofexile.com you can see that the best physical rolls require level 83, sorry man!

A 900 dps axe is generally lot more expensive than 10D. The chances of you getting the Ailsing slam is very low. Then you have to start all over again. It's only 10 Divine if you get ultra lucky on your first roll. In fact, after spending hours in Craft of Exile I have yet to make 900 dps axe. I've made an 850dps ax on craft of exile, but still that would have cost more like 30D just to make. The base alone will be 5- 10 Divine (Fractured damage T1 or T2). An axe worse than your is up for 70 D on trade.
Now I'm glad to see someone posting some stuff on how to craft some of this stuff. But doing it the way cArn says in his guide is WAY more expensive. But you have to have open Prefix to craft your ax. Essence of contempt at the start of a league is way more than 6c. I spent over 3D on essences alone, and then the Aisling slam failed. I was stuck with 3 prefixes so bricked item and had to scour.

Here's the process to craft the ENDGAME axe from the pob :
1- Spam Essences of Contempts (Defeaning ideally) until you hit a decent hybrid %phys roll, tier 4 roll is good enough for a first endgame axe, with an open prefix (attempt to annul if it isn't)
2- Craft Prefixes cannot be changed
3- Aisling slam
4- If it hits a Prefix and you unveil %phys proceed to the next step, if not restart
5a - Prefixes cannot be changed ---> scour ---> Multimod Attack speed + Double Damage while Focussed
5b- Prefixes cannot be changed ---> Reforge speed, if it hits T3+ speed, Craft DD focus and Warlord Exalt. If not, repeat ^xE05030
Can you elaborate on the fast af comment? Crucible is my first league and I was watching some of their videos. They seem harder to build than what's implied. Is that the issue?
As far i know, "fast af" was an cover front for an real money transaction side(like some other channels, too!). If it is still one don't know, but some really shady stuff happend there.
Would watch them with caution. Most of their builds variants are the ultima of what a player can do with no constraints.

I'd test it out first for yourself. It's so mechanically clunky (to me) that I honestly would never consider the skill, even if it did a lot of damage.
I think it’s like a 1/200 chance to hit hybrid phys t3 with essence slam. Not to mention it’s way less than that to hit it with available prefix or suffix to work with. To buy 200+ essences idt you’re gonna get them at 6c each unless you want to do 10-20+ different trades waiting for someone to accept you, you’re probably paying at least 15c nowadays and I don’t remember it being much better back then.
I kinda feel like this video is baiting people cause I still see this get thrown around on reddit sometimes. You know if you need to buy 200 essences it’s not gonna be 6c per. Even when this video was made at assuming 6c ea per essence (not realistic) and 2d for a base (similar price now), and landing a workable t3 hybrid phys first time you see it (not realistic) this craft costs like 12d. If you look at what it would take on average and not all best case scenarios it’s like 15d.
It’s much easier to just buy an axe with 850dps for 5-10d from someone who bricked their attempt at a better axe on trade. You can find them with 850dps and 2 useless sufffixes pretty easily on trade for less than the cost of going at this yourself. Crafting phys melee axes is a game for someone with 100d+ ready to spend because hitting all t1 phys + AS + whatever you want is going to sell for like 250d.

It is really astonishing how long some players are in POE and still have no knowledge about it. Crucible was my first league after ritual and I clock just 800 hours in the game, but attack speed gloves with Aspect of the cat made me so rich it isn't funny anymore and the craft is so basic.
How would you make those? Never touched any of the aspects and am just curious - if you don't wanna give away your money, feel free to tell me that instead
Roll with essence of the zeal for attack speed on fractured evasion gloves (resistance), the last suffix must be free. Try to roll life T1/T2 prefix, the other both suffixes are anyway fixed because of fracture and essence. Then you'll go to the menagerie and use aspect of the cat, kill the tiger and the suffix is guaranteed without rerolling the item. Slap on Eldritch mods and cash in your 10 divine easily each gloves you make

Boneshatter is a league starter build and any build that costs more than 2 div isn't really viable as a league starter.
This isn't about the league starter version of the build. Boneshatter can go much further than that.

So I just tired this, exactly as listed. I ended up with a 790 pDPS (I have no idea what pDPS means), and it cost me start to finish about 6.9D, and I still would consider this a low ball. I got lucky and got a T7 damage / accuracy after 30 essence of contempt. That's pretty crap, but it's the first one I got and I was down to only having 1 essence left so I went with it. With a big worse luck I could easily see it costing 10D. I did not 6 link it. I got it to 5 link, 6 link is still going to cost another 2.3 more Divine (I've gambled about 3k fusing so far, no 6 link this league). So easily 10D for a 6 link.

Check my pinned comment. Expected number of essences for a tier 5 hybrid on an attack speed fracture is about 30 so yeah, you just got VERY unlucky. It happens but is way out of the expected result.
When I tested it in the emulator it took 82 essences to hit T5. So that's why I took the T7 at 30.
My cost
Base 27% attack speed fracture with 6 sockets - 4 divine + 1 regal to make it rare.
54c - fossil
100c- resonators
199c - essences
60c- exults
114c- fusings (to 5 linked)

Honestly, the crafted axe is so marginally better than a Atziri's Disfavour I skipped the crafting entirely this league
and if you socket your attack into disfavour you get sth like 10% more dps with the 35% quality on support gems. getting better axe would be really really more expensive
the one thing to note is we are in a practically dead league right now.
at league start you are not getting a base for 3d.
but, as you said, league start is gonna be essences then multimod.

Im sorry, but a t2 % phys on a league start, on top of the despot base its soooo expensive at league start, you for sure pay much more then 6 div just in the base.

I play on a Mac laptop, and it isn't ideal. I must use an old barely functional PC to utilize POB and any other 3rd party application. Juggling laptops feels terrible. There is no copy-paste from the game to POB, so everything I do takes days to enter into POB manually. This literally has me burned out on the game. I have however gotten one voidstone by defeating Exarch in SSF. I'm now hard-stuck because I do not know how to min Max using POB. So long story long I'm only playing enough to get the free stuff and then waiting for the new season.
there is copy/paste for pob. you can copy an item you see in game by just hovering over the item and hitting ctrl+c and then ctrl+v in pob where items are. you can also copy items directly from the poe trade website, using the little plus icon to the left of a listed item and then pasting into the item section of pob. not sure if you were still confused by this, but i use this every single day and so wanted to clarify.
