- BJP Tamil Nadu chief K Annamalai refused to apologise for referring to journalists as monkeys. In a press meet in Coimbatore, Annamalai said he did not call reporters monkeys and that he was referring to reporters jumping like monkeys and not letting him speak when asked for a sound byte. Refusing to apologise, he said he did not make any mistake. #annamalai #bjp #coimbatore

I don't want to get into your argument, but you need to start with Bengaluru. It does need a huge clean up. 25 years ago it used to be such a beautiful city. Not any longer. I am from Kerala. A few years back i saw a video of IPS probationers meeting the then President Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The address was by a young officer and i noticed him instantly. It was Annamalai. Then i happened to see a few videos of Annamalai IPS as SP in coastal Karnataka, he was simply awesome. At that time i thought this guy will go places in police force. But he landed up in Tamil Nadu politics. It is a boon for the people of Tamil Nadu. He is a combination of intellect and spirituality. By the way he is BTech and MBA from IIM Lucknow.
