The social structure in Sanatana Dharma is based on Chaturvarna. It divides society into four varnas or groups. They are Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (kings/rulers), Vaishyas (traders) and Shudras (workers). The original purpose of this Chaturvarna system was to ensure that people get what they deserve. Chaturvarnyasampradayam is different from what is believed today. A person's qualities and activities determine his varna and caste. And not just judging by his birth.

The first lesson my parents taught me was how I should pray, and I will practice it till the end. It's a form of respect for my parents and my ancestors (Sanatana dharma). 1. See god in every living/nonliving being. Love every one . We say like sarvamangalya mangalye (May lord do good for all), Vasudeva kutumbakam (The whole universe is a family). As per out text the god paramatma, brahman is within you (aham brhammashi).
2. Focus on karma (action) and follow your dharma (righteousness). Do you righteous duty with detouchment. Do your duty without associate yourself with the fruit of it. (Karmanye vadhikarastey maa faleshu kadachana.. Geeta). The large part of Geeta is dedicated to karma, ynana (knowledge).
3. Ahimsha paramou dharma,
Dharma himsha tathaibacha.
that is, it says non violence is the greatest virtue, and so is violence to protect dharma.
This is the reason Sanatan dharma still exist with glory irrective of 1000s of Islamic and christian attack and none could eradicate it. Our kings like Shivaji , Maharana Pratap never hurt an innocent ant or bird but the same fellow would tear apart enemies like bahlul khan along with his horce in the battlefield.
4. Renunciation of metarialism. Main objective is to get rid to karma and attain salvation.
5. Sanatan dharma promotes inclusiveness and pluralism. In sanatan dharam there are thousand of sect and each have their own path toward moksha. Nobody is discrimated based on their belief and nobody is considered superior or inferior to others. Because of that in Bharat you'd see so many culture and belief system coexits together in peace and harmony which you can find nowhere elese in the world.
The so called case system is a distorted social evil that came into scenario few centuries ago and now almost went away. In sanatan dharma we had varnashram that is categorised purely based on person profession and not based on birth and none is considered supersior in this system . It's just a work distribution in the sociaty and manage that.
In other culture like islam and Xtian there were concept of slave which never existed here.
