I hope for the next SSB game they have the Space Jump Boots as an item giving the wielder an extra jump. A new item from the Metroid series (along with a new character other than Samus herself) is long overdue.
Samus can actually do a bomb jump in Brawl... but only to slow down the fall. It is performed with (I think a) max 2 bombs. Won't really gain any height, but, I't falls under the Bomb Jump definition
ya know seeing all this is quite amusing because you gotta think about the intros in the context of Super Metroid, Samus saved her progress at Port Town, then when she comes back there's like 3 other Samus' who saved there too, it's like someone made a rom hack of Super Metroid and made it online co-op
Note how the left shoulderpad's third pixel from the bottom left shows slight discoloration when presented against the counterpart of the right shoulderpad from metroid fusion, obviously referencing the design matrix conflicting with the external modeling agency.

Those fire moves?? from what I can tell she is exploding missiles from the tip of the arm cannon to create the effect in the air then just shoots one on the ground for the down-A move. That just me. >.>
Maybe you should also have added that when in Morph Ball, Samus can go under tight spots in Brawl as well. Example: the "small" Mario tunnel in Mushroomy Kingdom's underworld (1-2). In fact, it was even needed to pass Samus' Board the Platforms (or BtT, can't remember) in SSB.
At 6:24, you note that Samus could not perform the Screw Attack when standing still, jumping straight up. An interesting fact, though, that in Metroid, Metroid II, and Super Metroid, it is possible to somersault straight upwards. It's tricky, but you have to tap a side direction, then jump right after you let go. If done correctly, you can space jump in Metroid II and Super Metroid in a vertical line until you move in a direction.
@GetZeHellOuttaMyFace If you press sideways right before pushing B, it fires homing missiles. If you push them at the same time, it fires power missiles.

@nimpe88 the same way you fire a normal missle but you have to do it really fast like u know how it would be >B to shoot a missle? well push the stick HARD and it should shoot a super missle or try doing it lighter

Yes I have. I guess I must've remembered it wrong. My bad. I could've sworn I hated getting it as a kid cause it reverted my beam back to power beam. But it must've been another beam I just didn't like, that I'd used for a long time and hated getting stuck with. *Shrugs*
what the... why u do the shinespark in that way if u lose healt like come on u can destroy everything even if u just run that horizontatly way doesnt be very usable
I dont want to sound like a troll,but she would kick the hell out of him(its a matter of superior technolgy),but even if he had a chance, he couldnt be in SSB,hes from microsoft(if am not wrong),SBB games have only Nintendo and 3rd party game characters,the next SBB for the WiiU(possibly) is being made by Nintendo and Bandai/Namco(Soul Calibur series,Pacman,Tales of series,etc)...which isnt a bad a idea(I prefer the characters from Soul calibur or Tales of series instead of Master Chief)
These videos are awesome! Just one thing, consider your lenght. You don't need to show several clips of Samus walking out of the save station, for example. It makes it slightly tedious to watch.
Hah. Bomb Jumps are completely possible in the Smash Bros game. Just... different. Great for recoveries. Just drop a bomb, drop a second bomb without moving, and the first pops you up into the air. It lets you travel quite a distance, at a loss of altitude for each jump, making it a far better strategy for getting back onto solid ground than the Screw Attack OR Grapple Beam. Just saying. It's a personal favorite, and one reason Samus is my best...

BTW Ganondorf and Samus both share the same dash attack. So...will CCD be referencing Samus's shinespark in the Ganondorf's Moves video as well?
