I create videos of where I believe all of the elements of the Super Smash Bros. games (except for the N64 version, so far) come from. If you want to know what I'm currently working on, look at my Twitter page.
Zelda and Sheik's Moves - History Behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl
This video shows what I believe influenced Zelda and Sheik's moves.
This video starts out by briefly discussing the roles Zelda played in The Legend of Zelda games she was featured in. Since the Sages are related to her roles, I discuss them too. Basically, since she shows supernatural and magical abilities in some of the games she was in, I believe this is why she was given a magic-based moveset in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So, I do my best to be comprehensive about Zelda's abilities in certain Legend of Zelda games to not only relate to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but to better cover her character from a "history" perspective. This part of the video is only about the first five minutes though.
The rest of the video discusses specific moves and should be less subjective about what I believe influenced each individual one.
If you're wanting to jump to the history behind her Final Smash, it starts at 17:37.
And just to be clear... Much of the original material for Zelda is based on dialogue and cutscenes, which helped contribute to this video's length.

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION (and preferably my replies and what I've replied to in the comments.) When I first started working on this video, I wasn't sure how I wanted to present it. Basically, I could go the full nine yards (such as explaining the purpose of the ocarina songs used in the arrangement, play original background music tracks all the way through, etc.), OR I could just simply hav...

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. Shows where I believe Diddy Kong's moves come from. I did not include his B-over move, Monkey Flip, because it is an original move. Even Diddy tossing a banana peel is original, but there are still connections to his past games, even though they're somewhat weak. Also, the banana peel is an ITEM. And as such, it will be covered when I get around to doing the video ...

READ THIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE COMMENTING! Seriously. This video shows possible inspiration and theories behind Luigi's moves, style of movement and general character. Yet Luigi doesn't have too many ...

Since a few of Mr. Game & Watch's characteristics and attacks relate back to the original handheld Game & Watches, I used my small collection of Game & Watches and my camera to explain those characteristics. 16 years ago omg- I am watching this in 2024 and I somehow feel nostalgic as a gen Z kid..-
Just to note all of young links clips were taken from majoras mask which mostly were retakes from oot
Better than Tiger Electronics handhelds.
I think about this channel every now and then. I hope he's out there in the world, living happily.
It's time to do a history of this video
As someone who got associated with Fire Emblem through Super Smash Bros., I will agree with you on one thing: Marth really has no connection with the continent of Tellius. But in FE Awakening, the game that takes place 1,000 years after Mystery of the Emblem, for some reason Ike’s sword, Ragnell, was seen with Priam, a random guy whom Intelligent Systems made the descendant of the Radiant Hero. In all honesty, I did not know if they were referring to Ike, and I still don’t. But…Owain’s dialogue in Fire Emblem Warriors’ History Mode map, Scion of Legend, may have something to say about that.
As a new fan of fire emblem, I like how They manage to work having only 5 games where Marth only appeared in 2 (and it would have been interesting if he had been in 64 as Sakurai had planned)
Please do Sonic's Moves - History Behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl
I hope you're doing well, old friend.
This video is as old as i am
Wow, CCD! It's been too long since I've last seen your wisdom in one of these videos! 😊
This music is too relaxing to fight in smash!
0:59 When Fourside starts.
In japanese, the stage is called "Pokémon subspace". In reality, players don't fight on Pokémon-shaped balloons, they fight on "real" Pokémon. That explain why some "floats" move as if they were alive. The "subspace" suggests the stage is inside a dream where there's nothing but Pokémon floating around (and the players, of course)
Growing up, before knowing anything about Animal Crossing, I thought Resetti was just some nuiscance added into Smash. I wondered why his text bubble blocked the view? What's the point of him?
so this always just a banger ok ok
I got word of this character and mechanic years ago. Didn't fully know why until I learned it's an in-game penalty since the game follows the console clock, and the save file can be modified in this way. He won't always show if you hit RESET in the game. Just if you did it a while after you saved your progress.
One of my first videos I saw on CZcams. This brings me so much nostalgia and joy. I hope the creator of this channel is doing well.
Prehistoric video
Almost 20 years about this video 😢 OMG!!
They really missed their chance to make a melee joke. 9:19

Captain Falcon's default color scheme between F-Zero X and SSBM is entirely different.
Recommend on 2023

his cheeks never lighted up strange im so sorry
Good afternoon! Please tell me if it is possible to use fragments from this video for public purposes - for editing a documentary being created about the history of computer games?
Underrated song 👌
Been a long while since I watched these. Forgot how uber detailed they were! This really is a LoZ tribute.
Instead of the Pokemón theme, I hear "Holding Out For A Hero" instead. 😐
I wish melee had more characters
11:51 that machine that's in the back of the pack is trying really hard, if you see it try to get hit by it so that it knows its efforts are not in vein.

Came back for the nostalgia. This was the first video I ever saw on CZcams.
2023 here. Please return to CZcams.
Was Melee anyone else's introduction to this song?
Wonder what this guy's doing now if he's still out there.
Actually that's not all them if you reset one more time he will actually delete your file like for real
2:58 omg
He should make More
13 Years later is video is still a masterpiece
