  • RV storage is important for the long-term maintenance of your camper. This video covers indoor RV storage, outdoor RV storage, proper use of RV covers, mice and rodent issues, and RV towing safety tips.
Indoor storage keeps your RV out of the elements and out of the cold if the storage facility is heated. For outdoor storage, you should use an approved, vented RV cover to keep the elements directly off of your camper. Keeping ice, snow, and other debris off your camper can avoid issues that will impact your Spring and Summer camping trips. Using a non-vented cover can be catastrophic to your RV because these types of covers can accumulate and trap moisture. Moisture build up may infiltrate your camper if you roof membrane has pinholes or if you fail to properly close a slide out or storage doors. There are different types of covers that may fit your RV storage needs.
Mice and rodents can cause damage to RVs. There are different solutions from sprays to dryer sheets that may work for you. Comment below about your specific mice and rodent situation and we can walk you through various solutions. If you have any solutions that have worked for you, please share!
In the event that you have to tow your camper in the winter or a unexpected storm, you must make sure that there is no ice, snow, or debris on the roof. Towing with any type of debris could create a dangerous road hazard.
The travel trailers featured in this video are made by Little Guy, Coachmen Catalina, and Keystone Passport.

Vented covers are a must. I have heard stories of the covers whipping around in the wind, and getting holes in the canvas. Even further, if the whole tarp rips in half, it can thrash around and hit the sides of your camper and cause expensive damages.

We agree! Vent covers are a must have item that we recommend to every camper. We can order different makes, colors, etc. for nearly any RV!
