Also, a super useful information is that although it's super tricky to do, you can cancel the crouch dash after the ➡️⭐ parry by pressing up, so you can get a guaranteed 1,1,2!

Even more than that, you can get up to i13 moves, which means a guaranteed uf1 into HR mix, or if you want damage/wall splat you can do 2,2,1 or 1+2 after cancelling the dash.
@@epicebones7329 I've STRUGGLED to get that i13 dash cancel timing. Most I've been able to manage was the i10 - i11 and presumed i12 is just out of reach. Any advice?
@@XionTheSylveon It's not really something you wait for in my experience, I tap up during the stomp of her parry, and immediately do the string, or 1+2, it helps to have your dummy set to guard all so you know when you're follow-up timing was true.
@@XionTheSylveon as far i13 Uf1 is the only i13 option I think is possible because with input timing or direction the other options are possible. But Uf1 for sure is.
My favorite is the accidental punch parry into double confusion roulette mixups where neither of us knows whats gonna happen

my favorite parry setup is thrashing my opponent until they only have 1 HP left, turning on heat, and just raw transitioning into heavens wrath over and over.

unsoku also has the same wind step built-in parry, and it seems to be much more lenient
for setups doing one of reinas negative lows into unsoku, even generic d4 that everybody knows is negative now, worked quite a few times to get a free mixup after I finish my turn (of course only works with people that are addicted to immediate timing mashing when they know its their turn)
Unsoku parry starts up frame 5, where Wind Step parry is frame 3. Good news about Unsoku is the built-in evasion and God tier whiff punish with UNS 4, so in scenarios where they don't do something that gets parried, the stance may just move you out of the way anyway.
No mix required, crouch cancel for a free 112, 221, 1+2, or uf1.
You can also cancel the crouch animation of her F,N parry, and get a guaranteed 1,1,2or 2,2,1

@@asugarush8970yes, it’s possible. The timing is weird. If you haven’t yet foud it out, try delaying a bit until you find the time. It’s not immediately.

see this excited me I'm excited to add this to my textbook strategies for Reina, I would get the Wind Got Step parries but would never capitalize on them
these are so handy. I really learned how to master the forward parry since last vid. After i do Sentai 2 i just do unsuko down (due to the slightly larger parry window) and by god do i catch opponents out with it. Either they whiff a straight kick or i parry a punch and then i go into heavens wrath but that is mostly cuzz it's cool and still gives advantage

I like her unsoko parrys that give her a 112 or 221 confirm while inputting U, N during the parry.
I always thought that using the parry is too random and risky. Never thought of using it after some of the movements! Great tips thanks!
1:20 u3 also goes into this parry and there is a cancel you can do by tapping UP that will let you jab afterwards

My favourite parry set up is ws44, you can enter heavens wrath after they block, if you enter stance in heat, its almost a guaranteed parry cause that move has been launch punishable for every mishima character since FOREVER, everyone gets so excited to launch punish you after blocking that but they end up parried kek
Fav is spamming it until my opponent just press into it then rage quit when about to rank up
The best thing to do after the mist step parry is grab. You’re still +10
man I did the 2nd parry on accident for the first time yesterday mid ranked match and thought I hit the taunt button 😂
I did not understand when you are on heat mode, the auto-parry hit works by pressing forward or going into a heaven's wrath position. Thank you!

hello great vid as usual, might I suggest lowering background music when you are speaking? Hard to hear what you are saying at around 1 minute in the video onwards. The on-screen button prompts do help a lot understanding what you are trying to say though.

You can garuntee a 112 or uf1 or 221 if you click up when you get the parry it isn’t realistic on reactions but if you set it up you can garuntee the punsih
Reina's Unsoku also parries punches

Better to use u3 or d3 to transition to unsoku, which also has punch parry window, tapping forward not reliable, and if opponent not trying to punch you it is better to smack them with unsoku 4 which deals biggest cheap damage, than just 3 after f n
they need to give us more options for the Wind Step parry. Its Hei's Raijin parry for god sake! He at least had follow ups like Rai 1 which was a launcher and Rai 2 which was a combo ender
I kind of wish they gave her a low parry reversal option
NY favorite parry is the ones I get when I fail wave dashes and then whiff any kind of meaningfull follow up
I also think FD 3+4 is a good parry as well

There’s unsoku stance as well, which can double down as parry, movement and surprise electrics, as some have mentioned.
In purple ranks it’s a bit tricky to make it work, but against patient opponents it can be more useful.
Basically you can do unsoku by doing u3, d3 or b3.
In each of those there’s specific timing where you can surprise electric or insta hellsweep. Would love if you could explore a bit in lab and put one of those great vids out for people to know!

hello just saw a guy on yt do u~n 112 from f~n parry and is guaranteed. You can use the record function in practice mode so you can practice this easier

So am I the only one after hitting back 1+2 parry the opponent can just nullify it with a second jab? Is there something I'm missing?

You can't be a reina main without some part of you wishing you throw out a two hit move againdt reina when she's -6 and in heat.
My best parry is taste my opponent dust when he tries to do duck my heavens wrath in heat mode😂😂😂 & accidental forward parry with crounch fr+1 😂😂😅

Its a well made video but you are wrong about her f n parry. You can do GUARANTEED punishers afterwards. If you cancel her crouchdash you have multiple options, 112 being the easiest obviously. I was able to do 221 and someone told you have a 13 frame window afterwards so technically you could do an wegf there but that definitly would require insane execution.
