I was cutting some small logs on Saturday, my dad said put them on two saw horses. I said dad watch this and I cut them up like you do without getting the chain in the dirt. My dad is amazed at my skill now. I told him #BuckinStyle
Thanks Billy. I totally agree. This is perfect excerise especially for someone with adhd and anxiety. So many benefits. Exercise, learning a skill, heating your home, making a few bucks, cleaning up the dead fall, and some pride when looking at the finished job.
Much love from Romania Buckin'. You're literally the reason I moved to the country side during all this corona stuff, and bought some land and forest, and my very first chainsaw, an ms 261 with a regular carb (yes, I like the old reliable ways). Worked on it a bit with some mods, been reading lots and lots of info on arborist site; I know a bit of mechanical stuff and I'll be honest it's the best time of my life. Every day I'm so excited to finish my work-from-home software job just to walk between the trees and take care of them, which includes cutting down old growth to clearing brushes. I wish eastern europe had old school McCulloch or Homelite available to find, but oh well.. Your kind family is my goal. Thank you sir.
Find this oddly satisfying to watch, new to the channel, but like what I see and thankful for your messages to be kind .. thank you. I’ll try the splitting this summer.. need something now that the snow is going... my favourite is shovelling snow... just love shovelling
Love the deck demo. Happy Birthday to me, The day before the day of green. Usually too much drinking green beer and excess boozing going on all over the city. Not good on many levels. So the pandemic has been good on a lot of levels. Less air pollution, less traffic, less public intoxication. Already got my first gash in the arm from a tiny thorn from an Osage Orange tree. Fantastic wood. Big-time greetings to all the Buckin army. 66... pick up sticks Climb a tree, see how far you can see, and live free.
Love watching you evolve your efficiency throughout the video. Sometimes throwing them in the pile , sometimes using the tractor, behind the back log tossing. Very cool
Can really tell you were having fun with it when ya started throwing the splits behind your back to get it up the line! Love your attitude and what you do man!
Betcha the thumbs downers just figured it was another splitter vid. Great show Billy. Great show. You made that young man feel soo amazing I’m sure of it! Congrats young man. When you get all the way through that wood pile is where another amazing feeling will engulf you😊

Buckin says....stand up and split! Nice method Billy. Your videos are a blessing because I cant be there with you to bust butt, but on raining/snowy days watching your videos is the next best thing.
Cool ending of your deck at the ending of your vid. I could stand to watch you crack wood open all day. Sometimes I catch myself sympathetically swinging with you. There's something about the release chopping. I've got an old Craftsman double bit that I restored (with Billy's inspiration). I'm coming up on 70 and it gets me outside. Thanks for that B-Billy.
Always enjoy watching the splitting, we have lots of hardwoods and softwoods here but I’ve always split with a maul. Crazy to see how you go through those rounds like mad! Love it!
That's a good load of firewood, the Easton made is great but you with an axe is better and that's how I split, they say firewood warms you twice splitting it and burning it. Great video, looking fwd to seeing myrtle again. Take care.
@@jirusjirus9322 I'm a strange guy there's times I want explosives to relax as a younger man I played rugby I was a boxer now I'm more civilised so I get relaxation with a fishing rod in my hand. Swinging the axe to fuel the log stove to keep the house warm.
Buckin, I could watch ya swing an axe all day bud! Just wish I was there ta help ya! Hope yer havin a great day! Hope all the buckin army is havin a great week so far! Be safe! Be kind! Give love!
Hey Buckin, thanks for posting all these great videos. You’re a real inspiration, enough so that I started my own McCulloch collection. You helped me through the hard times over the pandemic. You’ve also helped me figure out better way of life by being kind, best message I hope to spread to everyone I meet. I know you’re busy but it would mean a lot to me if I could buy an axe from you. I would love to have a little piece of Buckin history and to have my own custom axe. It would be really awesome to come shake your hand too as I’m planning on taking a trip out to Victoria BC this summer to visit some friends. Have a good one Buckin!
Good man, bee positive Getting through the plandammit has been a whirlwind... And we never know when the next one will arrive. Stay on top of your health and eliminate all sugar from your food, it's hard to do but not impossible. Stay safe Stay strong Be kind
The best part of that splitter is the unit that lifts the rounds up to working height. That's a back-saver for sure. I've got a splitter - firewood is still hard work no matter how you try to minimize it.
I just sent my weight machine out to the junk metal pile because it was taking up space. Not much more boring than lifting weights that produce no product. Granted you get exorcise and all that but when bucking and splitting wood you get to heat your home with what you produce during those long cold winters. Nice machine and I bet they are really proud of it. :)
Another thing I enjoy about your vids, the ways you do things. I’ve noticed the log cut to hold the saws in the bed of the truck before, but axes too! That’s one slick splitter. Maybe add a multi split head on the ram rather than the single?
No sarcasm. I really like the lift and foot control. I’d be curious if there is a 4 way wedge attachment. I don’t split enough to justify something like this, but pretty cool Buckin’ can use it to help others!!
Im 51 still cutting and splitting by hand..thinking of getting some kinda splitter. Cool video I think you had less than 500 subs when I first subscribed.
Buckin' get yourself a Pickeroon if ya not yet have one. I watched ya use the fireman's axe which doesn't seem as effective as a Pickeroon. I am awaiting the Peavy brand out of Maine myself. They dig in and have more holdin power. Grab that handle with both hands and lift or drag that round around. Between that wonderful little tool and Andrew's awesome Axis .... save yer back. Stand up n split!!! Love ya friend ..... for all you do.
It’s not the splitter that is great. It’s the act of kindness that is created with it. Thanks Billy and Mr Easton.
thats very true
