Thank you, thank you, thank you...I have been so frustrated for years trying to figure out how to not have Xyron (I call them sticky buggers~sorry, but they are everywhere) sticky everywhere, but I LOVE Tombow Glue, just never thought of using it with the pin dots of glue..Exactly what I was looking for...after yrs of frustration you just lowered my blood pressure...lol :)

Adding xyron or be creative tape to the paper but Leaving the backing on then die cutting works great too.

Glue ooze is my nemesis. I think you've given me a technique that might actually help me conquer it!

Thank you, Good advice. I am attaching giant letters but the technique you demonstrated should work the same.

I love my xyron sticker maker. First I peel off the top clear layer which still has some adhesive on it. Then I put my sticker down on my project. And finally I take that piece of clear layer, sort of crumpled up and just dab it on top of the sticker. It removes all that access. Hope this makes sense

some other ideas are to add dst to the back of your cardstock before diecutting, using spray adhesive or the thermoweb sticky dots.

If you have a wider word, like the "thinking," just put it through lengthwise. Great tut, thanx.

Hi, quick question: Do you think that it might be possible to get away with not buying the machine but just the refill sticker stuff? I'm just wondering if I can get away without needing another bulky little thing on my studio desk.

I'd love to know how to adhere the die cuts with a 3D effect, but not using foam - as it's not really possible with thin die cuts. Any ideas?

Maybe try 3d silicone glue? Collall is one brand I've heard of

Jennifer McGuire cuts a few (3 or 4) of the same die, and then she glues one on top of the other to give a 3D effect. I've tried it and it works well, although it takes patience to align them properly, especially if they are intricate or very thin die cuts.

That machine is really wasteful of adhesive though. They should make another one where its more efficient.
