Very nice idea!...Though I wouldn't suggest 'masking' tape because it will tear paper if you are not really carefull...instead! I also use besideome improvement stores washi tape: post it notes,painters tape( for delicate services)...any home improvement store should have it...Believe it or not! I find alot of my scrapbook supplies at the home improvement store...So look 'Outside The Box' when looking for supplies...
When I try to partially emboss, I get the impression of my embossing folder edge, embossed as well. The same with those embossing borders, I always get the edges embossed on my paper.
Yeay! So glad you shared this! I was wondering how to accomplish cutting half a shape in the middle of my paper!! :D
