Such a super great video! John and the setup with the fireplace was beautiful
Hi John, great video. You brought up some interesting points about everyday life. I don’t cook but Tracy does an excellent job of cooking so we don’t hungry. 😀
We wish you and Miriam a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year
Ryde safe and God Bless
Artie & Tracy
Merry Christmas to you, Artie!
CZcams is wonderful for learning skill sets... TommyG and I are now expert washing machine repairers...lol... Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 to you both!
Merry Christmas to you!
Merry Christmas John,
I've been watching your channel for nearly 9 years. I find it fascinating and helpful. You and Coach Bob, have me seriously considering becoming a RTL owner. Honestly, your channel and CB3 (Coach Bob) are the two vlogs that have similar/related backgrounds with us. Basically, I'm a retired air force air traffic controller and airfield manager. My bride of 49 years, also retired civil servant with 33 years. I've been riding a two wheeler since 1969. Recently, my bride has been diagnosed with vertigo and I've banned her from riding. From what I have learned Coaches Bob and Vic, it may be time to switch machines.More on that later. 😊
For now Merry Christmas to you and Miriam and safe travels.
BTW, this is my first comment/post to you. I have not commented to CB3 either.
Cheers from,
ER (operating initials for 45 years on the job). Retired 1 Oct. 2019 from airfield management, located at Randolph. Former squadron, The 99th Tuskegee Airmen.
Thanks so much for commenting and for your 9 years of viewing! Wow-what a career you’ve had! Welcome to the community. Please let us know when you take the plunge and join the ranks of Spyder riders. Hope you and your wife enjoy many adventures together. I have a friend who experiences severe vertigo and uses a service dog, a gentle mastiff, which seems to help a lot.
What’s a compass? 😊
My mom taught me how to function in a kitchen and I’ve gotten pretty good at at making chocolate chip cookies.
Good stuff 👍
Dang John, you made me feel really good about myself! Aside from cooking I've got your list pretty much covered. LOL I bet 99% of the people out there have no idea how to orient a map using a compass. Who remembers the days of no GPS or cell phones? 👋 I was in the maritime enforcement unit for 9 years and maps are called charts.
Oh well off to the kitchen to get schooled.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Dan, there’s hope for you yet! 😊
@miriambryant1896 I'm a hockey fan, so that explains why any burger I have cooked looks like a hockey puck. 🤣
I still love maps... Can always find my way... I've always had a good sense of direction 😉. When we were in the Yukon and Alaska without signal, the Garmin zumo XT worked perfectly. The only thing I noticed was you couldn't search for things when there was no signal but you can't search on a paper map either LOL😅
Well…you can search on a paper map but it takes a very long time! 😊
@@miriambryant1896 I guess I should have said what I was searching for...gas stations 😄 or weather 🤷♀️😁
Very nice life skills review John. Between the two of us, we have those and more fairly well covered but we always look for ways to update our skills and aquire new ones. Let us know how your online courses go.
Wishing you, Miriam and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas, Frank and Nancy!
One more for the drivers out there - learn where one is located, and how to operate, a turn signal.
Amen!
You are totally right when it comes to skills of all sorts. Public speaking is not my even close to a strong skill. I just haven't don't it enough to be easy with it. You forgot uh when in general talk. I was talking a grown man a couple weeks back and his pause filler was a very high octave of UHMMMMM a lot of times. Very off putting. Basically the info was quite good. I hope your Christmas will be safe and warm. Later.😅
Merry Christmas, Bill and Kathy!
👍 I was raised in the mountains and my grandfather taught me so much, but my mother taught me how to survive in the corporate world ❤ Merry Christmas and many blessings in 2024 🎉
An excellent list of skills John! Between Lisa and I, we got it covered. And not only am I good with burgers and steaks on the bbq, I can sure make some awesome toasts for breakfast!😂 Cheers!
I would want to be paired with Lisa in a wilderness emergency! Cheers to you, Richard!
@@miriambryant1896 Lisa agrees with you!
Good idea with the first ⛑️ aid. Tommy and I both had to have that each year at our work but we need to update this skill set
Merry Christmas from Australia you all🎉😊
Merry Christmas to you! Best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024!
