I have been wanting to start the smart home upgrade for a while now. Maybe, now I can start the process as this is a very useful device for any home.

I added a smart switch to switch off my furnace if CO1 is detected via a Homekit automation. The one in my garage opens my garage door if triggered

We do not have internet available where we live, aside from our phones. Can these talk with one another without a home wifi system? I don't need information on my phone, just for all of them to go off if one of them does.

Are you able to access the LED nightlight to change colors or turn the light on/off?

On powered Version. the nightlight is just white and can be changed from 10%-100% no colors. If Nightlight is Off then not wired correctly or Power in your home to device is off.

$115!?!?!? Wow, that’s expensive, considering you would need to replace a bunch of them in an average home.

Everyone's ability to accept prices is different. We have no brand premium, factory direct sales, Tuya wifi 2 in 1 smoke and co alarm only need 13USD/pcs.

This CO detector is the WORST device I have ever come across. If you want to waste $115 get it. AI should be ashamed to promote this useless device..
