Marty, thank you so very much for your instructions. Im a single mum of three, I have a 6 year old an 8 year old and a 13 year old and we have all begun learning guitar. So far so good. We can all keep up and love it when you explain the strumming patterns several times over. Takes us about a week to learn a song together. The family that plays together stays together. Hey Marty, great lesson, I've been trying to teach myself guitar since April. This is really the first song I've tried to learn to play and it's a favorite Hootie song of mine. You explain it nice and simple. Really like the way you do the strumming pattern it's really helpful when you say it slowly. Always looking for your lessons, they are the best.

I love the slow motion slurred strum pattern. It actually makes sense and comes together when it's done like that. Good teaching method !

Your video lessons are absolutely amazing! I've never heard such beautiful sounds coming out of my guitar while I'm playing it.

I like how you sing with the notes. It makes a difference when you do sing and play, rather than just play.
