Ive been playing on and off for 14 years but never would stick with it. I'll play for a few months then sit it down for 6 months. Theres been times where i wouldnt touch it for a year or so but Wish you were here has stuck with me through it all though. That was the most difficult thing I ever learned until lately. I've made a lot of progress over the last couple months.
Marty, I'm really diggin' your mix of acoustic and electric stuff. A well-rounded player plays both (o.e. Page, Clapton, Gilmour, etc.). I also think it can be pretty creative to convert an great electric guitar tune to a full sounding tune on acoustic. Thanks for the lessons. Even the small things I've learned from you have made a big impact on my playing and I've been playing in bands for over 20 years. You have no idea how much you are making a difference to so many people, both players and listeners. Thank you, Sir.

In my dream I was looking for the videoclip, because I wanted to show to my sister and friends (I love that video). The simplistic picking pattern in this song is important because it goes with the lyrics. The song is about the band going from town to town on the road on a tour bus and its droning engine. The picking always sounded to me like the pulse of the highway pavement seams pulsing under the rolling wheels. Great song among many of Segers best.
Great lesson, especially for someone Like me. Trying to play all guitar parts at the same time, and sing. Well….don’t all guitar players like to be a solo act.?. Think bonfire, and they want you to play. Time for the open mike night show. This lesson is perfect for that.
