Just saying - A lot of people think they have "friends" but they really don't.
The word "friend" is thrown around very loosely.

Hey Marty, I had to find my password just to login and pay you a compliment. These messages are meant to be short. I'm 55, tried a couple of times to play in my 30s, and quit both times. This time, I started in January. I put my stand right near my desk so I'll pick it up every day. I guess because I'm a little more "mature," I'm patient, tell myself there's no rush and glad I'm glad to be learning. I would have quit if it weren't for you!! When I google tutorials, I go straight to those with your picture. Your method, consideration for the learner, upbeat and personable nature...well, we're now friends. I am grateful to you. Thank you Marty. Oh by the way, I have two bookmark folders, one called 'Guitar', one called 'Marty'. If I knew I how to use FB, I would have posted this for others to read.

I'm just starting out on guitar and so far, you're the best teacher I've found. If you still take requests, it would be great if you could do a video on Runaway Train by Soul Asylum. Every video I watch on it doesn't really land with me. Thanks!
