- Strap on your favourite skiing equipment and blast down hill in Aspen, Colorado! Sadly I've never been there myself (yet), but every film, series and even The Rippingtons have something inspired by Aspen. So why not me too?
I've had a long drought and little to no time composing due to work and family that needed my attention, but during the Holidays, I did manage to get something down. Had no real goal for what to make, so I just started somewhere and this is where it took me. Happy synth pop with some light house vibes and lots of retro. And synth brass, because who doesn't love synth brass? ;)
Remember to wear a helmet when going down the slope! Safety first!

In Kashmir, India there is a place called Gulmarg where the tourists go for skiing. I will surely play this banger if I get to visit that place in the near future! I can already imagine myself skiing in Gulmarg when I listen to this! Thanks for this banger! Keep the good stuff coming!

I've never been to Aspen, either. (Or anywhere else in North America, either). For that matter, I've never experienced a Winter Christmas, either - all my Christmases have been in the Summer.

Yeah it started out with those tropical plucks, but then I also ventured into some «Apres-Ski» expansions in Nexus4, et voilà… I was in the mountains! 😂

Just an idea for you. You should make some holiday music. I was thinking about it while listening to your newest album on apple music u have one song with bells it would be amazing in a holiday song. I know there probably copywriten so like u do make your own u have amazing music I love all your music ❤ .

Anders i have to be honest about your Patreon content. Your midi files ytou provide are in absolute unusable state. :) They are all piano and the percussion tracks are all in the wrong spot. Wonder why this is so?
Because you have to do some work with the files yourself. I never said SMF with GM compatibility. Only MIDI files of my project which means that I often have way more tracks than the 16 that are defined by the SMF standard. The GM definition also dictates 128 default patches, but I have over 100 synthesizers in different makes, models and formats both pre and post the GM/GS standard that use vastly different sound patches than those 128.
And if I were to make SMF files of all my songs, I would have to spend twice the amount of time I do composing, arranging and mixing, trying to conform it down into the GM format.
The files are merely there for you guys to have the MIDI data I record, but you have to read the part names and find your own sounds from YOUR synthesizer setups … if you want to do remixing etc. That’s partly why the stems are included too. :)
Ah no problem mate I love your content and music and is in no way dissatisfied I have this program called crescent Melody that plays musical animations I think I showed you one before so I guess I will have to just do a little work.@@AndersEngerJensen
