Is it possible to have bank C and D filled with bought presets while bank A and B is still factory sounds?
@@DiamondWoodStudios that's how we do ours! The factory presets are actually pretty rad, and we didn't want to overwrite them, so we only use C&D for our banks

Hi there I’m using the JD08 what bank do I save my soundset to? Also when doing the backup do I lose the original 64 JD sounds that it comes with?
all our banks automatically save to C and D, so the factory presets will not be overwritten!
You can make your life easier though, by getting the JD-08 Librarian from ctsakiris.gumroad.com/l/jd08lib
That librarian will allow you to reorganize patches, and even create your own custom collections!
And we just partnered with the developer, so if you buy one of our JD banks, you get a txt file with a 15% discount code for their librarian, so you can get cheaper access to a super handy management tool!

Hi there ! I've just watched your video and wondering why I would need to install a soundest to my new JD 08 which has factory Presets already installed ?
Please excuse my ignorance as I am totally new to the world of synths and this is my first !
I would appreciate any help in setting up the faders - knobs - and switches if you wouldn't mind please as they are all at lowest level out of the box and I'm having trouble getting some nice Preset sounds. 😥

The factory presets are all the original sounds from the 1991 Roland JD-800 keyboard. They're mostly pads, guitars, and acoustic sounds. Fine sounds in their own right. But if you browse our channel and check out the soundsets we've been making for the JD-08, you'll discover that the JD is capable of a great deal more, and is useful for a myriad of genres!
In fact, we're finishing up a Techno soundset for it as we speak, and have further plans to make more soundbanks for more genres! 🙂

try it 3 times,every time occurs err on the display......
Are you using a Mac or PC?
Can u use JDtools for converting the patch for JD08 and arranging the patch bank ?
You mean to use on the JD800 or or roland cloud JD800 stuff? We get questions about that occasionally. We don't actually know for sure if the conversion app works on our banks properly. We offered a big discount and some additional benefits to one inquiring person if they wanted to try and test that out for us, but we never heard back from them
@@KulshanStudios with jdtools you can convert jd800 patch to directly jd800 cloud or jd08 or vice versa.it run on msdos and little bit complex.it can change the bank rows also .very useful

@@buraktokgoz41 did you test it to verify? We don't have an actual JD800 or the Cloud stuff to cross-check
@@KulshanStudios i checked. it works. i found free patches on related web sites belonging to jd800 with syx extension and use jdtools . it converted all the patches to JD08 svd files succesfully. as i said you it run under msdos and little bit complex because you must write some simple commands to the line on msdos
