DIY POTTERY BARN Planter Dupe // Using a PLASTIC Halloween Cauldron?!

This was a fun way to repurpose a cheap plastic Halloween Caldron I got at Walmart into an expensive looking Pottery Barn Aged Planter Dupe. I tried out a couple new tricks to get this unique aged style and was so happy with how it turned out! I hope you guys have fun trying out this fun and easy DIY to add to your high-end home decor on a budget!

Thank you so much!!😊 That is actually a really great idea to do a little video of some price breakdowns from my projects!! 🤔But I can also give you the price breakdown right here! 👍🏻 So for a typical planter from Pottery Barn with this kind of muted cream color and ribbon design around it and little handles, they start at over $300 and go up from there depending on size. Here's the products and prices for this project.
Apple barrel paint in khaki $.58
Apple barrel paint in melted chocolate $.58
Craft smart white paint $1.79 for the small container
Hello hobby chalk paint in the color French linen $4.03
Rust oleum white primer $5.98
Clear topcoat about $10 but depends on brand you prefer.
DAS clay $9.32
Sponge $2.16
And you can get a cheap two piece small chalk brush set at Walmart for about $3
Most of these items will have several uses worth for multiple projects, so it's really only a fraction of these prices yo make this one, but the whole total for all of these is $37.44
I also purchased the cauldron on an after Halloween sale at Walmart, I think I spent around five dollars on that but they're also easy to find at garage sales or thrift stores for really cheap! 😊

Thank you!!!💛💛 So I actually had it from back during Halloween haha and I didn't really like it as a decoration so I thought of the idea months ago and then I finally got to doing it 😄 I like to go in after different holidays when they drop everything down 50%+ off and snatched things up, I probably payed like $5 for the cauldron👍🏻 but for most other pottery barn vessel dupes I do I just find glass vases of different sizes at thrift stores. Garage sales are always super handy for finding these types of things to flip too 😊
