I actually made this exact chandelier from this video, let me just add I’m a 62 year old man and about as graceful as anew born calf, and never attempted anything like this before. Made it for my wedding and it was beautiful… everyone loved it… I was quite proud too… but what they DON’T tell you is it’s a total bitch to transport and those beautiful faux White Wisteria blooms hanging down aren’t cheap… all totaled up, this little project cost me $210.00 I wish they would have started with that…
Very pretty and cost effective
Nice video
So stunning ! You are so talented !Thanks for sharing .
Ok me
Really it true
I made these for my wedding last year. The barn had 35 ft cathedral ceilings. It looked amazing, and I received so many compliments. ❤️
Congratulations on your marriage!
ANY IDEA WHERE TO GET THOSE EXACT FLORAL PIECES FROM?
@@jujujupiter thank you!! 🥰
Omg sounds amazing, any photos?
Beautiful ty for sharing
This is so great! This is probably the best DOLLAR TREE diy that I've seen on CZcams. You did just enough for the right kind of project you made this look like a quality item, without trying to make it "look expensive"... which in most Dollar Tree vids include a bunch of cheap looking blind wrap and usually ends up looking like the Dollar Tree exploded all over someone's apartment. But THIS? This is great! I will definitely use this in the next wedding reception I do. These can be hanging center pieces. 👌🏾
Agreed 😍❤Its BEAUTIFUL
Tgyyyyyyy
Loved it.
Bwaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!! Bride and Groom will never forget how "stunning" these are!!!!!
I HATE it when Dollar Tree explodes in ANYONE’s house! 😂😂
Love this wish I saw this before my daughter's wedding. I think these would be beautiful for an outdoor wedding
I was thinking this! So amazing and affordable WOW 😍 Beautiful
I totally agree. What a beautiful decor for an outside wedding!
I think your idea was beautiful and original!
Thank you for mentioning wedding! Really Any big occasion this is a fabulous idea :)
It does look very weddingy 💚😱🌿🍃🌺🌸🌿🌾
This is STUNNING! These would make a great statement for a wedding! You are soooo stink'in talented! Thank you for always sharing your talent with us!
You're right! This would look great at a wedding!
You are correct ladies stunning & yes perfect for a wedding.
I was about to comment the same thing! Gorgeous!
Stinkin’! That means smelly. Odd thing to say.
I was thinking the same thing
I made 6 of these for a garden dinner we hosted last weekend. They’re so beautiful, a couple of guests asked where I purchased them because they wanted them for their own garden/ event.
Cool idea. I bet you could also do this with clear plastic tubing (which would allow you to customise the inner rings a little smaller) and feed wire for structure and tiny led light strings inside the tubing ✨
Great idea Too! I dont think ive seen Clear Hoops Anywhere though.
When you try this, pls a tutorial! I need the visuals
@@celesteflenory4427They are literally showing you how in this video…
TIPS for anyone trying this - - You can PRIME the hoops before applying paint - AND - some rattle can paints are made specifically for plastic and have an additive ( sort of like priming and painting - but in one step. ( This gets rid of the problem of chips / scratches / bare areas )
A light sanding or use of wire wool to provide a "key" on plastic also helps, even with plastic paints. DIsclaimer, use a a mask!
@@alexmousley7213 a mask? what are those? who'd have a mask lying around the house. 🤪
@@ssp4795 They are avaialable at the smae place you buy the paints!
She used the plastic paint lol. But plastic needs to be cleaned and needs to cure and not all plastic works with this paint.
@@alexmousley7213 did the vax kill your sense of humour?
Some advice, once the orb is assembled then the painting can be applied and it should apply better as most of the hoops are off of the ground. Great craft idea 💡👌 thanks 😊
Beautiful!
See my music
I think she did it on the ground, flat as to minimize the paint and chemicals going up into the air. 🤷🏽♀️ Could be wrong, but she said in the beginning...
OMG.I am 76 years old and I can remember these when I was about 6 years old, twirling these around my hips as excerise.
@Hometalk I've got to say that I've watched so many inexpensive craft ideas, many coming out of the Dollar Store. Most will pass the good mark. However, @Hometalk, your project is at another level. I was thinking how lovely that would be for a garden wedding, with an outdoor evening reception. You also have a talent for arranging the florals.
Great tutorial. 🌟
As a native of Savannah GA, I'd swear on my MeeMa's grave that this was filmed in one of the beautiful squares downtown! And if not, it's in Charleston SC, our sister city. Thanks for that unexpected little taste of the deep south. 😊
Great project! Sanding and priming the hula hoops before paint helps the paint adhere well!
Krylon also does well on plastic. Give it the maximum cure time. That helps a lot.
And removing the stickers
😂🤣👍 YES! GOOD ONE...DEFINITELY REMOVE THE STICKERS!
I'm fairly sure that somewhere on the internet you could just buy golden hula hoops. But they might be more expensive too.
Which primer do you prefer for a project like this one? Is there a specific color or brand that should be used for metallic gold paint?
Beautiful! The only think I could suggest is: instead of using 6 individual battery operated sets of lights just use one set of remote control lights. 😊
This project turned out beautiful. It would make a great decoration for an indoor/outdoor wedding as well.
Just stunning. Beautiful for weddings. Thank you
That is beautiful. You could decorate so many places with that. Garden parties, weddings, oh my it is so gorgeous.
Absolutely beautiful for very low cost!
This is definitely on my to do list!
Thanks for the great video: easy to follow!
Wow! I think this is the first dollar tree/cheap-but-looks-expensive CZcams video I've seen in a long time that I would actually use. Most of them have been ridiculous...like I'd rather pay $40 for the original rather than spend 5 hours making...but this is absolutely gorgeous and I would not mind putting in a few hours to make one or two. Thank you
BEAUTIFUL WORK! I love it!
The only thing I'd change is, I'd use the remote control fairy lights so you don't have to dig through plants to turn the switch on.
This simple idea is probably my most favorite I’ve seen from Hometalk yet!!
I applaud you on this floral chandelier, it turned out beautiful! These would be amazing in multiples for an outdoor wedding!!!!!
😀👍 *That would make a BEAUTIFUL outside wedding hanging centerpiece! You could then also take some wooden crossstitch hoops and make smaller ones for individual table centerpieces, and set them in the middle of round tables.*
🙏🤩 *Thanks for sharing!*
Oh wow! Great idea!
ROFLMAO!!! 🤣
Absolutely brilliant & so stunningly breathtaking. Thx for sharing❤
You’re a decorative Genius! I love that!😍
I just love how you took your time and show us how you made your flowers lights… I can’t thank you enough!! I truly appreciate you.. thank You so much ❤️❤️❤️ Would you mind teaching me how to do some more of your projects … this is absolutely, absolutely beautiful 😍
This would look lovely in a garden wedding! Thank you for sharing your brilliant idea.
Wow! When you first started I couldn’t grab hold of the idea but that is amazing. If you wanted to have a small garden wedding in the evening those would be gorgeous hanging from trees. Kind of like that gorgeous idea of Martha Stewarts when she did those stunning outdoor lanterns! Bet you get plenty of compliments!! Very nice !
Wow u could use this for the different holidays as well love the idea
What a great idea. This is such a clever idea and keeping the cost down of your finished product. Love it!
This really is breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous.Thank you for sharing this with us Lady. ❤️🇨🇦
Wrap hoops in gold reflective tape would work well! These look lovely done up for different seasons! Thank you for sharing!
I was thinking a pretty metallic ribbon...
I love your nails! This would be so cute to make into a planter holder!!
That's really neat. This could be great for indoor use or patio. What a smart yet simple idea. 👏
I am picturing a garden/patio wedding. What a creative and beautiful decoration!
That's beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
The end result is stunning! And to think the cost is minimal compared to big box stores.
I LOVE this. Definitely something to try some day if I ever get the chance.
This would be great for Halloween using different colors and “dead” flowers painted black. On a smaller scale embroidery hoops would be great. You can adjust those so they’d fit exactly within each other. Think I’ll try that.
Loved loved loved your tutorial! You have an awesome talent for flower arranging, the wisteria was genius! I appreciate easy step by steps. Your creation was absolutely stunning!!
This was absolutely fascinating to watch you build - and simply gorgeous! You really have a talent for decor. And I love that you referred to your creation as a contraption! ; ]
I loved she said that too! I could hear my hubby asking me what kind of contraption was I working on now..LOL
It u I know îôi it iio
Honestly had zero ideas what that was she was making & stayed to watch the rest of it to see what she was doing...
WoW!! Thankyou!!!
So Beautiful & So Creative !!
I don't think I'd ever get bored listening and watching. It's very soothing.
That’s such a beautiful creation. Way to go, so elegant.
Beautiful flower arrangement
Absolutely beautiful!
This would be beautiful for a wedding. I could see a few of these hanging from a big oak tree for a outside wedding or in a barn for a barn wedding. Of course it would be pretty anywhere....
OH WOOOOWWWWW I DID NOT EXPECT THAT. I can just imagine a garden wedding, that turned out absolutely gorgeous. thank you so much for sharing.
Fantastic! To prevent ruining your paint, try priming the hoops.
Mam, This is absolutely beautiful! I am leaving my mom's previous house and moving to my own home and orig I was hoping to qualify to own a nice little house with a yard but I was not able to. Hopefully some day and I would love to make this. I have so many great ideas from CZcams that I will make for my new little Shadow Box as I call it. I will screen swipe this awesome idea and save it.
Do not wait for a big house with a backyard. Decorate everything now! Enjoy now! You can buy hula hoops and a very tiny size and make this work for you. I’m so proud of you for getting your own home; that’s a huge accomplishment so good job!
Very pretty 😍 I can see that with only white flowers flowing from the middle and maybe some vines wrapped around the hoops. Gorgeous
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY ALL YEAR 2 U THE MOTHERS...HAVE A BLESS DAY 2 THOSE THAT HELP WITH CHILDRENS THATS IN YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS LIFE EVERYBODY IS NOT ALWAYS A MOTHER THAT TAKE CARE OF OTHER PEOPLES CHILDRENS...THANK GOD 4 THOSE THAT ARE HELPERS 2 OTHERS...IT TAKES A VILLAGE 2 RAISE A CHILD...I AM A GRIEVING MOTHER LOSS MY SON HE WAS 37 YEARS OLD HE WAS MY ONLY CHILD...
Absolutely stunning! Such a beautiful piece of decor to be so inexpensive too!
Absolutely beautiful I cannot wait for spring to come so I can make one of these or several of these.
Ma’am, you are a creative genius! I sincerely admire your ability to do projects like this. I want to so badly but my mind just races and I overthink it and then get overwhelmed and not do it.
great wedding decoration idea too
That came out beautiful, especially the way you arranged the flowers 🤗. The lights make it looks so pretty at night. I would think turning it off or on would be hard to find the switch under the floral arrangement as well as when changing the batteries. Maybe a 100 count or 200 count set of electric (plug in) light set would work better if you have an outlet outside or use an outdoor extension cord. Can also plug the cord/outdoor extension cord to a timer so it comes on and goes off at the same time every day. Just a thought.
my first thought too...plus those type of lights she used are not water proof...they do make battery operated fairy lights that run on the watch style batteries that time and are waterproof..$5 each on amazon
I believe you can also get fairy lights that operate on a timer and remote controlled.
I have lights on my 🌴 artificial tree on the corner side and I plug it also in my stairs
@@1rosabonita I’m sure it looks very pretty. 😊
Exactly what I was wondering…finding the little switches among all those flowers would be frustrating for me!
This is about the BEST Home Talk DIY I have seen. Absolutely beautiful.
I love it. Thanks for sharing ❤
I love this idea, will use out out back in my patio area, but You would have to constantly change out these batteries! So my idea would be to use electric string lights with clear or white cord or use solar lights. I would also use a round solar light in the middle that you would poke into the ground with a plastic stake, that can be easily removed for this purpose. I don’t like battery operated lights for outdoors, the weather would ruin the battery pack. I’m going to use copper paint designed specifically for plastic and might prime first.
I think I'm going to use the solar lights.
Glad someone covered this; the cost of $18 per week in batteries alone would have deterred me. Glad there are other options. 👍
Well, solar lights do have batteries! Less changing, as they are rechargeable, but still batteries.
You don't normally change the batteries in solar lights- never had to replace mine in the years I've had them.
Would certainly save you from having to buy a TON of batteries to operate for the same amount of time. I couldn't imagine going out constantly and replacing them.
Only perk with regular lights is you can turn them on whenever you want (if you have batteries lol)
@@sarahgilbert8036 Ok Karen, I think you know what she actually meant… She was talking about the batteries and not waterproof casing that were used in the video. 🙄🙄🙄
That is gorgeous!! I will be looking out for hula hoops. Thank you so much.
I think I'd use glue to stick the battery boxes under the plate to protect them from water because it rains a lot here and they would get ruined quickly here. This came out really pretty. 😊
one of the most beautiful diys ive seen on yt.
Love the gold speckled patio
Great job, that came out beautiful.
I would make one suggestion that will make life much easier afterwards. Instead of using the battery operated lights, get the kind that plug into a USB port. Hot glue a multi USB port into the hoops and have the USB cord leading to an outlet. The reason I say this is because those batteries will need to be changed every couple of days if you use it for any length of time and it can get quite expensive, not to mention frustrating. It may cost a little more in the beginning but it will save you a lot of $$ and headaches in the future.
Gorgeous & so creative! "Blessings of Bounty and May Your Gardens and your Life always Bring You Joy, Inspiration and Abundance!" - Hope( & Mark)!💖💖
BETTER THAN STORE BOUGHT!! U POURED YOURE HEART INTO THIS DIY....ITS BEAUTIFUL!!
I really didn’t know where this was going but the end result is so very beautiful.
Love what you've done with the hoolah hoops. Very beautiful.
So enchanting! Love it. It would also be beautiful for weddings. If the venue will allow you to hang things. Most do I think. Thx for sharing.
God bless🕊💜🕊
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! THIS IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Oh my goodness 👀
I love love love it!! I'm going to get me some hula hoops!😂
Good job ma'am!❤😊
Beautiful!! I would love this on my patio for a dinner party.
what a lovely idea.
Thete are probably so many outdoor projects we can make without spending a fortune.
Wow that is gorgeous. Great for an outdoor wedding too.
Aww I’m going to definitely try and make this. It’s absolutely stunning!!!
W0W what a beautiful display! Thank you for showing us how to make it...I would like to make 2 for my back yard this Spring because of a special party I'm throwing for my friend...well really I should tell you that's if I can make it look as beautiful as yours! But you did explain clearly the directions! Oh it's just so lovely thank you for your Video! = )
Hi Lynn, When you make them remove the plastic off the hoops that will make the spray paint adhere better and not peel.
WOW! Gorgeous! And how blessed you are to have in your imagination.
Beautiful.
Beautiful and really clear instructions. Bravo!
Oh! This is a really pretty! I can imagine so many in my backyard, thank you for such a great idea!
Omg. That is so beautiful. Whoever created this I would like to high five you. You all are so talented.💗
Love it thank you for sharing 😍😍😍🙏🕊
Should you have sanded the hoops to give the gold paint something to cling to for a durable coating ?
Uma das melhores ideias que vi, ultimamente.Bem volumoso e levinho.Parece flutuar. Parabéns! Ctba PR BR.
I was amazed at what you were able to accomplish with those who have even before you started decorating them they look beautiful
Omg I have to try this. Yours looks so pretty. I am going to send this video to my girls and ask them to help me make it for my patio. I never would have come up with this idea
I’m going to make the hula hoops together & fix them to a tomato cage . Will be great for my vining flowers to grow on. THANK you for this idea!!!! 🌱💚🌹
Oh, yes! I love tomatoes and peppers. That's a great idea!! Never grew any .. but might be able to now.
GREAT IDEA, EVEN FOR YARD LONG GREEN BEANS.... YES
That is so beautiful. I was wondering if it would be to heavy to put a planter on it, and if it would hold up?? If you hung in from the screw on top and then connect it to something g very sturdy outside using more of the plant hanger
If it is a small plant it might hold. Just remember it's made of easily breakable plastic.
I would use wood or metal instead of hoops. I also would use real flowers.
Great Idea !!
Thank you for this tutorial! This looks to be the method used at a Christmas party I went to. Instead of hanging from the ceiling, the orbs were on tables near a wall, at different heights, and inside of it the arrangements included extra large gold and silver ball ornaments in the greenery!
Omgosh this is fabulous... I could never make it but wow wow wow...keep posting your beautiful projects
Looks beautiful! I think it would look even better if you added a small bouquet at the top as well allowing the flowers to hang down about 6” using a smaller plate of course. Thanks for sharing your idea. It’s fabulous!
Or it could be the "added touch" that makes it too much and crosses over into tacky. Sometimes less is more..
O my goodness What a beautiful amazing garden and & your home is also amazing I can't imagine how nice it is on the inside this project looks great & simple enough for me lol .... I'm going to try to make one on a smaller scale I know dollar tree has two different sizes can't bet the 1.25 price. Tks for sharing it beautiful 😍
Sanding the hoops does help the paint to stick better. Also, a good idea is to drill your holes before spraying. Beautiful project. Thank you for sharing.
Great tips!
I made this and right now is hanging with lights for Xmas outside...nice!
This is absolutely gorgeous!! Just love love it. The lights & the choice of ur flowers. Gonna try to make one I’m having surgery tomorrow, so after I get & it gets warm I really would love to do it. Awesome
Hope your surgery went well and you have an easy and quick complete healing.
On "Escape to the Chateau" Angela spray painted hula hoops gold, then decorated them with a bit of holly & ivy for Christmas. She hung them in large picture windows. It looked great but simple.
Absolutely gorgeous! Did you add more fairy lights to the bottom?
LOVE THIS IDEA...
AWESOME...
